Only muthafuckas getting 25 carries per game are Zeke and DJ... you smoking. That's not the NFL anymore..only a few teams run a 3 down back who doesn't split carries.. even Bell rarely get that many because they line him up as a WR to reduce the hits.
you want the panthers to draft 2 RBs in the first 3 rounds
any RB was likely a reach at 8... even Fournette would have been a reach because he can't catch and yall need a RB that can catch out of the backfield....if it was about value, yall could have taken the best defender DE on the board and then taken an RB later... it's a deep RB draft...one of the best RB classes ever so I would have taken one 3rd or 4th because a good quality RB is still going to be their in the 3rd... Mixon probably won't go until the 3rd and he might end up being the best RB in this class.

Get the fuck outta here Fournette and Mixon are top 10 talents. McC was drafted way too high we could have traded down got more picks AND a running back. But Gettleman be acting senile I wouldn't be shocked if he went back to back picks at the same position last year at DB
You don't get it. The NFL has changed. Jaguars wasted a pick taking him that high. No offensive line and no QB... it's the Rams all over again w/ Gurley. An RB that high only makes sense if you have the offense to utilize him. It made sense for the Cowboys because they had a top OL and talent everywhere.
You need to build out the line before reaching for an RB at the top of the 1st round or you're overpaying for the production that you'll get.
Taking an RB that high is overpaying for the production you'll get. You'll likely get the same production out of a good RB in the 3rd or 4th.
McC IS a good fit for the Panthers...just not with the 8th pick..
