What's the scariest video game you've played?

Silent Hill first one then fatal frame is a close second
I thought I was the only 1 that fucked with Fatal frame. To be honest, there's nothing scary about any game where you run around with real weapons. But when all you have is a camera and it's a spooky Japanese, weird as villages and shit you're slooooooooowly walking through with these meek ass girls... Maaaaaaan

My scariest:
- Dead Space (2 and 3 parts are okay but the first gets to you)
- Outlast
- Alien Isolation

Many games have tried but they only offer a few jump scares. A good game will usually have my palms sweating and heart beating.
There was a point on Dead Space that shook me so bad I had to play in half hour intervals to keep from feeling like I was really gonna get caught by one of those necromorphs.

the old old old ass friday the 13th game on nintendo. as corny as that game was jason made your ass jump everytime he appeared

i had that game. i aint gonna lie i jumped a few times playing that as a kid. never did beat that game. beat jason once and then a message appeared saying some shit about him coming back.

yeah u gotta kill him 2 times, kill his momma then kill him a third time

Clock Tower for PS1.

Was a Japanese import I bought with another fighter game.

Basically, its about this guy with lawn shears trying to catch you in a janky ass house to cut your head off.

The sound effects & how he would run up on you would spook the fuck out of you.

Probably that old game resident evil back when I played it on PS 1 or 2... The things jumping through windows and stuff. Not cool
I can't believe I was about to get Doom 2 instead of Resident Evil. I was with my brother in toys r us and he convinced me to get it just by looking at the back cover... Went over my cousin house to play it for the first time, and man, scary as shit!!

I was just going to say Resident Evil 1. I was onboard the USS Clark playing it on the lounge TV when those zombie dogs jumped through the window.

I dropped the controller and screamed and the other three guys who are watching me play the game Screamed too. We looked at each other afterward like, "Let's never ever speak of this,"

The fast monsters with the big claws near the end of the game were also really scary

Thread is hilarious! I had to YouTube this one though!

GTA 5....CASE CLOSED

How? I mean, you have a lot of scared-ass niggas playing, like Leroy, but otherwise, how is it scary?

I read on the game or the cover of Silent Hill, the game gets a psychoanalysis of how you play and adapts as you play!

Silent Hill.

After fucking with that I swore never to buy/play a game like that again. Funny thing, I bought BioShock, played a while then was like "Wait a minute, I see where this is going." Turned that shit off. I dont know if it got worse and will never know.

Old games :
RE 1
RE 3
Silent Hill 1 and 2
Dead Space (more tension than being scared for me)
Sega Saturn Enemy Zero

New Games
RE 7
Alien Isolation scary and mad tension just like the first 2 Alien movies
Outcast

Friday the 13th NES

Manhunt is a stealth-based survival horrorvideo game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was originally released for the PlayStation 2 on November 18, 2003, and for Microsoft Windows and Xbox on April 20, 2004. The game was also re-released through the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Players control James Earl Cash (voiced by Stephen Wilfong), a death row prisoner forced to participate in a series of snuff films for an underground director, former film producer Lionel Starkweather (Brian Cox).

The game received positive reviews by critics, with particular praise directed at its dark tone and violent nature. The game also received great controversy, due to the level of graphic violence in the game. It was banned in several countries, and implicated in a murder by the UK media, although this implication was later rejected by the police and courts. The game won several accolades, and spawned the sequel Manhunt 2 in 2007. As of March 2008, the series has collectively sold 1.7 million copies.

This was the FIRST game I thought of.

Yea Resident Evil, my cousin let me borrow it and i had no idea a game could make a nigga jump like that so i'm just playin and remember walking past a abandoned restaurant and some big ass zombie eagle flew right in front of me into the fuckin window loud as fuck and i was like OH SHIT!!!

I never said shit about it and kept it to myself until i was with my cousins and some friends and they were talkin about how scary the game was and i remember being relieved.:roflmao:

The next time i played a game similar in style was Tomb Raider and there were moments in it that made me jump.

The Evil Within for. Played 20 or 30 minutes worth and I was through and ain't touch da shit since. Had my nerves to'e all ta' pieces :smh:

Need to check that out, but RE with the dogs, sitting in the dark, surround sound, I'm watching all doorways and windows.....
