Phil Jackson: Carmelo Anthony 'better off somewhere else'

Who are the Knicks suppose to have?

Who they supppse to replace in the playoffs right now?

Who are u swapping?

Just like the fakers

Why does everybody care that they weak and back to the Eddie jones days

Who are the fakers suppose to replace in the playoffs?

Who the 76ers suppose to replace?

That's the thing the media cares more about the knicks than anyone clearly right?
The franchise has 1 ring. 1 and I wasn't alive when they won it.

I would like Kyrie to go to the Knicks. Play in the 'Big Apple', and get rewarded with the largest contract in NBA history. He's show-time, a blossoming defensive whiz, and arguably the most skilled player since Jordan. He deserves it.
Kyrie will be a laker famo

It's basically written in stone

Westbrook is NYC (or BK) bound

That Jordan Brand will need another monster in that market after Melo leaves.

JB has a player in every top market / Region

Blake for west coast

Kawahi for Texas

Jimmy butler for Chicago

Westbrook for Midwest

Melo for NYC

Greatness

Sooo....

No matter who is put around him, what system is run, and regardless of the undermining of the GM and no support structure, Melo STILL should be able to get to a conference finals?

So, take a moment and explain how HE is to overcome:

A system that is not designed for a player with his skillset
Having an inconsistent Sophomore, Courtney Lee, and a damaged past his prime Derrick Rose as your point guard
Ron Baker as your second point guard
And Kyle O'Quinn and Hernangomez as your bigs?
And a coach who is not really allowed to coach?

Please, make your statement make sense... , Also, name any other player outside of LeBron who has accomplished what you claim Melo should, with the same Hand Melo has been dealt. Please

Also, FYI, he has made one conference finals, in the harder conference so that point is moot. :hmm:

KG, Kobe without Shaq, Barkley, Malone, Shawn Kemp, Ewing, David Robinson before Duncan, Mourning, Allen Iverson. You know the teams Iverson played on were not all that. Those are just a few names to mention. Like I said he overrated, dudes act like he a top 20 player of all time. You can have him on your team and have all the points he will score but I want someone who can win. Yeah I forgot about that one conference final he went to. So if you take Carmelo on your team and I take Iverson, who will win more game bruh?

So....
KG made it to one conference finals, Melo has made it to one conference finals
Kobe without Shaq? Ok, so who on the Knicks is the equivalent to:
- a prime Pau Gasol
- Lamar Odom
- Derrick Fisher
- Andrew Bynum
Malone - Played with a HOF PG and always had better teams than the bullshit the knick trot out
Shawn Kemp - Played with a HOF PG and .... nevermind, see Malone
Patrick Ewing - Played with a HOF PG and .... nevermind, see Shawn Kemp
David Robinson - look at the caliber of the teams he played on prior to Duncan.... and PLEASE respond with how they were comparable to the bullshit Melo plays with
Alonzo - Played... nevermind, see Malone, Shawn Kemp, etc....
Allen Iverson - the 2001 Sixers, that is the ONLY person on this list I give you credit for....

Dude, seriously, and I am not trying to mix in with you, I'm starting to feel like Im wasting my time here. You really tried, but with this list you gave, you just threw darts at a dart board and whoever's name the dart landed on you typed that shit! NONE of these Dudes outside of Iverson remotely validate your point Bruh... If so, please explain how...

@BrownTurd... need your input on something Bruh (try to stay on task with the question too, take off your dancing shoes). You keep parroting the weak ass non-substantiated rhetoric that Melo doesn't make a team better, and basically its his fault more than Phils and Management that the Knicks are in the condition they are in, and he's never had any success with any GM, so, here you go, in black and white. I'm interested to see how you will spin this (try hard not to deflect Bruh :D)

Denver Nuggets: 2003-2010 - Avg-48 wins (+26 wins Melo's first year), playoffs every year (Western Conference), one conference finals

NY Knicks: 2003-2010 - Avg-30 wins (1 playoff appearance)
w/Melo:2011-2017 - Avg- 35 wins (3 playoff appearance, one series win)

Melo's time with the Knicks
Knicks-Pre Phil years: Avg-42 wins (3 playoff appearances, one series win)
Knicks Phil years: Avg-27 wins (no playoff appearances)

Let me help you so you don't get lost or start rambling, need you to speak to THIS information Bruh :D

1. Denver: 26 game improvement his first year, Knicks: 13 game improvement his first full year
2. Denver: playoff every year, one conference finals
3. Knicks overall 5 wins per season improvement from the years before he got their (I'll address in a minute why that number isn't higher overall :D)
4. Knicks: 1 playoff appearance in the 8 years before he got there, 3 appearances and one series win in his first 3 seasons there
5. Knicks pre Phil average wins per season 42 (again, 3 playoff appearances, one series win)
6. Knicks during the Phil years, 27 playoff wins and no playoff appearances
7. Melo with the Knicks (15 GAMES PER SEASON MORE WINS AND DIDN'T MISS THE PLAYOFFS ONE TIME) in his first 3 Knick seasons prior to Phil signing (See # 3 :D)
8. During Phils tenure, the Knicks are actually averaging 3 wins less per season than the 8 years BEFORE Melo arrived.

So again, take you time and gather your thoughts and explain to the board how this is Melo's fault again (Courtney Lee and D Rose not withstanding)?

Great post. didnt see it that way

Great post. didnt see it that way

Dude seriously, someone heard a commentator say that dumb shit after a game, or read it typed here, and without ANY support whatsoever, Dudes just start repeating that Dumb shit. I actually laugh when people say shit, get completely owned and disproven by facts, and then just drift out of the thread...

Aint no debate here for anyone to win, if you don't like my response then thats on you, I'm fine with the points I have made. Because at the end of the day you can start your team with Melo and I will start mine with any of the dudes I mention and they can play with all busters and they still will have a better record that Melo. His NBA career has proven what he is so you can keep cape'n for him all you want.

No need to try to 'win' anything... I would at least like someone I'm debating with to make sense. You all it caping because you post nonsense and unverifiable rhetoric and you call it caping? So, being asked to qualify invalid or incorrect information is caping? Sounds like a cop out and a tap out to me because someone is not making sense...

It would have been better to just have said that was your opinion and you didn't have a need to qualify it, but when you start 'attempting' to qualify it with nonsense, expect to be called on it...

Have a good day

Carmelo Anthony.....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmelo_Anthony

When you are highest paid player on the team, IT IS ALWAYS YOUR FAULT

Mello is a DRAMA Queen no matter what uniform his is wearing. :rolleyes2:

....ahhhh... Another 'Brother' brainwashed and validating the white man's narrative. How intensely pathetic. So, Phil is the one giving weird ass interviews and keeping Melo's name in his mouth, so, how is Melo the source of this current 'drama' again? When was the last time Melo initiated a dialog concerning Phil Jackson causing 'drama' again?

Your whole assessment of when you are the highest paid player it is always your fault stinks of a I am a good slave to my Massa mindset... Hope that's not what you are basically saying about yourself.. :hmm:

Its amazing how some people walk around all day with their eyes wide open and shut at the same time without running into shit... News flash, whenever a CACs mouth is moving, it doesn't mean whats coming out of it is gospel.... :smh:

Carmello is going follow in the Foot-Steps of Patrick Ewing, so called great career, Hall of Famer.................... No Rings

No problem. :giggle:

How was he a drama queen when he hasn't said jack shit publicly on how that shit show in NY is being run?

He answered all the questions with tact. something the NY media has written about. You know you're the good guy in a situation when the critical NY media is saying how well you handled it.

In fact, the heir apparent in NY should be getting criticized for blowing off his exit interview. Melo did everything he was supposed to, including defer to the lanky bastard on the court.

Dude don't even engage that clown. I actually baited that CAC and sure enough he's verified himself as a CAC or Coon troll. Ignore him and he will go away, like most CAC/Coons do...

I'm still waiting for someone to say how it's Melo's fault the team fell out of 4th place in the east to a lottery pick because of Phil's meddling meditating monkey ass.

I know I'm late as hell but Phil played this right. Melo is still young enough to get traded and get something serious for him.

The Knicks will never build a championship team with his salary. It's time to rebuild.

Just like the Lakers with Kobe. They stuck with Kobe and I applaud them for that but look at the team now. It will take them years to recover.

The same will happen with the Knicks if they dont deal him now .

The Knick's have WON nothing since Phil Jackson wore the uniform, to each his own. The team was bad before Phil got there with Mello, still bad with Phil and Mello.

I had a job interview at MSG for a position with the Knicks. I met with various senior executive members and all of them said without saying that working for the Knicks is a challenge because of Dolan. They never said his name like Voldermort, but it was clear they were talking about him, but were scared to say his name aloud. This is his fault first, then Phil. Dolan should have just fired Phil and throw a ton of cash at someone from OKC and San Antonio to come in.

...but they had enough money to sign broken bum ass Noah to that big ass contract huh? Two different situations from Kobe, the salary cap has gone up and the Knicks have the bread to sign who they want. Point is, Phil is a racists asshole and no self respecting superstar is gonna come and play for his ass and that outdated ass offense...

The only fact that you have pointed out is that he went to the conference finals. You gave an excuse to why he has not won more. If Carmelo is as great as you said he is he would have won more. He's the one who chose to go to New York knowing they gave up a lot to get him. He had talent in Denver but yet he didn't win nothing, no NBA finals appearances at all. Your argument is if he played with multiple Allstars his record would have been better. My argument to you is that with his talent alone he would make any bum ass team better and that has simply not been the case.

I'm not actually going to go back over all of the posts I posted supporting my contention FACTUALLY. If you are telling me, any player outside of LeBron has taken a team FULL of bums to the Conference Finals or a Chip I will tell you to prove it which you obviously can't. You provided a random list which was proven to false except for one player. If you are saying one player can overcome all of the negatives Melo has had to deal with, I would again tell you to prove it which I know you cant. I also proved that Melo had the team headed in the right direction prior to Phil fucking shit up, AND that he was successful in Denver. Only one team a year can win a chip, so if you feel he's overrated because he hasn't then either you are a casual fan, or you just don't have a handle of the concept of the game of basketball.

The fact that you only discuss and debate one element of the concept of team basketball to try to support your 'argument', and Ive provided multiple points of factual evidence to completely invalidate your position is quite troubling...

So, will you be providing the list of talented players taking bum teams and making them better in the same context an environment Melo has had to deal with in NY? If so, please share?

I'm far from a casual fan but since you insist on me pointing out who he has played with here ya go 2008-09 roster...Chris Anderson who LeBron won with, Chucky Atkins, Renaldo Balkman, Chauncey Billups, Anthony Carter who could ball, Jason Hart, Nene, Juan Howard, Allen Iverson, Dahntay Jones, Linas Kleiza, Kenyon Martin, Johan Petro, and JR Smith. My point to you and will continue to be is he did play with people who could ball. He balled in college and I expected him to do the same in the pros, you know to actually lead a team to a championship. I understand you point about the Knicks but he didn't have to go there he could of went to the Bulls which I was hoping he did at the time but he stayed in NY. When he did that he told me he could win with who was there. I looked at Melo as a player who could elevate his other teammates to greatness such as LeBron has done. That has not happened in my opinion. Now as I have said before if your argument is that if he was surrounded with allstars then I would agree with you but I look at him as someone who has the talent to elevate others who he plays with and I have not seen that from him so that is why I say he is overrated.
