North Korea has tested medium to long range missiles with varied success.
A medium long-range ICBM missile typically has a minimum range of around 3,400 miles.
But a map from Graphiq shows parts of Alaska just 3,700 miles away could be within range of nuclear oblivion.

At just 800 miles away, Tokyo in Japan – a major US ally – is one of the closest cities within striking distance.
Moscow in Russia, Tehran in Iran and Dubai in United Arab Emirates are close to being within strike range around 4,000 miles away.
Britain, at 5,200 miles away, is too far from North Korea to be concerned about a nuke attack.
