This episode was dumb. So much made no sense.

Negan was the saving grace in an otherwise unremarkable year.

1. I ain't going to lie I marked out when The Kingdom and The Hilltop cavalry came and turned the tide of battle and ran off the Saviors. That was epic especially when Ezekiel said "Alexandria will not fall today"!
2. If I am Rick and company the eat dirt backstabbers will get massacred on sight, every last one of them. I knew those dirty landfill dwelling bitches could not be trusted.
3. I was sad to see Sasha die but I hated her swirl affair with Abraham. That cac had her sprung. Fuck the writers for their swirl agenda.
4. I think Eugene will be killed by Rosita. She tried to blow him up already so next time it will be easy.
5. They are going to need a fighting force that is battle ready at Alexandria, The Kingdom, and the Hilltop. The war is on they all three must be ready for a Savior assault.

I'm at this point myself, but I've invested too much time in it to just stop watching all together. I'm just going to DVR next season and binge watch at the half way mark and end of season. There's other good TV on during the hour of TWD as well as a ton of other TV to catch up on or be introduced to as well.
Yes! That reminded me of Game of Thrones (don't know if you watch and or are caught up) when the Vale came through with Littlefinger and Sansa to save Jon and his fighters from Ramsy and the rest of the North.
To be honest the show really hasn't jumped the shark. It's not far off from the comics at all

Rick was done with begging to negan at that point. The moment was made to mirror the 1st episode to show the contrast of how Rick changed.

Those flashbacks served no purpose and could have been cut from the episode, also this is the dumbest finale they show ever had. Seriously the tiger conveniently skipped Neagan and some how kills only his henchmen, not to mention the weirdos all surrounded Ricks crew with guns yet most of them were able to survive the shootout.
There was no time skip, they were only a couple for a week or two.
its following the comics' plot points but that episode was fucking horrible

i lost what lil respect i had for Rick as the leader after how he has been portrayed like a scared bitch this season after that, yeah he made that lil speech to Negan but still was gonna just sit there and let him kill Carl
Yeah those scenes were stupid, The show never even showed them as an official couple, i remember Abraham telling Sasha how they could be a couple but i don't even remember them having any "we're together" scenes. Then while she is dying she is having flashbacks from this deep love affair
