who won the daniel strauss fight and is there

a second date set for the fedor mitrone fight...?

They'll be competing in 3 weeks' time (Straus-Pitbull).

The rescheduled date for Fedor-Mitrione is in late-June at Bellator's 2nd-ever PPV. They'll be the co-main event under Wanderlei Silva - Chael Sonnen.

wow thats gonna be at the garden... crazy...

Yeah. Gonna be interesting to see the eventual PPV buy rate. Their first PPV in May 2014 apparently did 100-150k in May 2014. Seems like they are pricing it high at $50 though. Their tv ratings over the years tend to be in the 500k to 2 million range depending on the star power and name value.

They could probably generate a stronger June PPV buy rate at $30-40, but they have to contend with the egos involved at Spike and Viacom and not wanting to come off as a lesser product to the UFC at $50-60 for their big cards. Must be interesting breaking down the analytics of viewership vs price point(s) and shit.

it must be crazy dealing with all that and tryin to profit..

but if they sell the garden out, you could expect 100 dollar pay per views in the near future..

The business of pro sport is a challenge. Apparently the Spike network will eventually become/rebrand as 'Paramount'. The UFC has bounced around amongst Spike, Versus, Fox, Fox Sports One, Fight Pass, etc. Boxing has HBO, Showtime, Fox, CBS, etc. Tough to tell what boxing PPVs will generate, even with major names like GGG not doing big business. The UFC PPV buy rates are all over the map. 150/175k, 300, 400, 700, 800, 1 mill, 1.1 or 1.2, 1.5 - 1.6 mill. Does Rousey ever return? Does Conor McG ever return to the UFC? Trilogy with Diaz? Retire after losing to Floyd and making serious bank? Pull off a fluke upset over Floyd, offer him an immediate rematch (and lose), and then retire? What kinda numbers can Jones do upon return?

Phil fought one dimensional, fight pissed me off and i thought he deserved to lose.

Heather Hardy can get it, but i was rooting for Yauger because she came out to Mobb Deep.

I like Phil Davis but he has the worse boxing skills in MMA history.
Because every time he throws a punch it looks like he Pop Lockin'
like Turbo from the Breakin' movie.

Damn Chandler left leg looked fucked up
OUCH!! What a freak accident.

Most likely a rematch.

DAMN Meathead tko'd Fedor the Last Emperor

They both landed heavy hands but Mittrione recovered faster after
the knockdown.

Amazing fights tonight
Bellator putting a very good show.
