I disagree. He tapped her on the shoulder, as his hand was up to give a high five. He just did what came naturally to him at the moment, since she put her hand down just before she faced him.

Watched the vid earlier today.
If she was "Your Daughter", she'd have an issue with the coach for they way he treated her sister "Your other daughter" when she played for him.
So the fact that she didn't want to give him a high five or a handshake is truly understandable.

The adult also shows a lack of class, if she didn't move his hand would've pressed against her face. He knew what he was doing.

And this wasn't a handshake, it was a quick high five at the end of a game between two teams lined up.
She made a point to put her hand down just before the coach came up, while his hand was up. He tapped her on the shoulder, again, it wasn't an assault.
You ever get caught awkwardly trying to shake someone's hand and they have a fist out to give you a pound instead?
That is what this reminded me off. Coach got caught awkwardly and tapped her shoulder because her hand wasn't there.

The coach pushed her on her shoulder deliberately, he saw her put her hand down and he knew what he was doing.
Apparently the coach kicked her sisters off his team back in 2012 so there was some history there and they both knew it. IMO, coach was in the wrong; she didn't have her hand up and you know why; just keep it moving.

The Tigers beat Florida 1-0, and after Fagan gave high fives to the opposing team, she put her hand down before reaching the coaches. Walton then lightly shoved Fagan in the shoulder with his right hand as they passed each other.
Fagan quickly turned and pushed Walton back, and the two exchanged words. A scrum broke out around them, and Fagan ended up being pulled away from Walton while screaming at the coach.
A video of the incident shows Fagan looking upset after the scuffle.
Fagan’s sisters, Kasey and Sami, both played for Walton at Florida but were dismissed from the Gators in 2012. Kasey is a graduate assistant with the Auburn softball team.
Florida is the top-ranked team in the country, per the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll. The Tigers rank sixth.
