Music News: Pusha T - Notorious B.I.G. Was the Greatest Rapper Who's Ever Lived

The features are what make it trash.
Outlawz, Rappin' 4-Tay...
So "Only God Can Judge Me" is trash because Rappin4Tay was on it? Man stfu. And you can trash te album lyrically then tell us how much you love Pac... As if lyrically he was significantly better or worse prior to this effort. You're talking out both sides your mouth my man.

It's trash "to me" because I have not personally listened to a single track off of that shit in over 10 years.
LAD stays in rotation.
The features are what make it trash.
Outlawz, Rappin' 4-Tay, (insert bum ass feature here_____), etc., made this album horrid on the ears.
But I get it... I love lyricism only. I don't really care how dope the "producer" made the beat. It matters, but nowhere near as much as the lyrics.
C'mon them guys might not be your flavor but they are far from trash
4tay, Richie Rich,Big Syke are west coast legends.
Khadafi would have been big if he didn't get murdered

Too emotional for you?!
Lol, it's not so serious!
Something's trash to me, you love it! Big fucking deal.
I love something, you hate. The world may end.

The song gets skipped after Pac's verse.
Point blank period. So that's why the album is trash!
Are you in the credits on this wack ass album or some shit?!
You have a very strong stance on this mediocre project.

Just because they're legends doesn't make these guys nice.
Too Short's more of a west coast legend then all the ones you named and he falls short lyrically 98% of the time.

Come on man.. cant accuse me of taking this shit too seriously when you out here meticulously centering each post like an obsessive attention whoring faggit.. And theres nothing emotional about saying your assertion that an acclaimed hip hop great album is "trash" is absurd... thats just an obvious response. Again, disliking it is one thing.. Calling it "trash" devalues everything you say on the matter going forward.

I'm the faggit but you name calling because I think something's trash.
Nigga... I don't listen to that album... At all!
Some people agree with me, some people don't.
Some people hate that I hate the album... smdh...

Yall neegas I swear. He's not even the best from NY.

Calling him the goat after only 2 albums is laughable.

Doesn't reach goat level in any category. Most of you are just voting against Pac. But IMO he's not better than DMX or Jay and not even in the same zip code with Face.

first real podcast music debate...

Lol When it came out niggas on the East Coast wasn't feeling it, they were saying it had too many samples and that it had too much Puffy influence on it. It did not come out to rave reviews bruh. That album became bigger after BIG's death. I personally thought it was decent but it wasn't what All Eyes on Me was when it came out.

LAD marked the end of the shiny suit era, hence the reason Puff went in another direction with Black Rob's project. Also, when DMX came up in '98 he had a strong influence in changing the tide of east coast hip hop.

I've never heard anyone say it was trash. I will admit both CD's fell of on the 2nd disk, Pac's second disk was much worse in my opinion, I'm not gonna say it was trash but that CD wasn't listened to by me.

BIG's second disk had 5 or 6 songs that I liked but sinshed up strong with the last three songs being bangers.

Pac's second CD was very forgettable.

after all these years cousin

this the very first and likely only time I have or will have typed these words....

Bills? You are incorrect.

I'm not
It's what happens when someone gets killed
They call him the best
Just like dudes talk about him dying on March 9th because it was the 9th in new York
It was the 8th in cali where he actually died
But let's not let the facts get in the way

Big was the most fun and the easiest to listen to. He told great, relatable stories. His voice was unique. He put fat niggas on. He's easily top 3 deceased.

The homie that floors me the moist is Phonte. He sneaks shit on you that makes you fall back. Truly underrated. Him and SHAD are slept on.

On March 9, Wallace left in a GMC SuburbanSUV at 12:30 a.m. (PST). By 12:45 a.m. (PST), the streets were crowded with people leaving the event. Wallace's SUV stopped at a red light at the corner of Wilshire Blvd & South Fairfax Ave 50 yards (46 m) from the museum. A dark colored Chevrolet Impala SS pulled up alongside Wallace's SUV. The driver of the Impala, a black male dressed in a blue suit and bow tie, rolled down his window, drew a 9mm blue-steel pistol and fired at the SUV. Four bullets hit Wallace. His entourage rushed him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors performed an emergency thoracotomy, but he was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m. (PST), six months after Tupac Shakur was killed.

Out of those 2 or in general?
Cause Pac's flow is the entire reason he was as great as he was. The flow and the emotion you felt him.
Biggie had a crazy smooth flow that vibed wih pretty much every track he did.
Best flower imo is with so many different flows this ones for this song the next one i'll switch up this one will get bit up.

Out of all rappers not just these two

I have to disagree with the premise that BIG was the greatest rapper ever. That viewpoint is usually only espoused by those from the East coast, or those with East coast ties or affinities.

And for the record, IMHO, Rakim Allah has no equal, neither living or dead.
