veGrand Opening... Grand Closing!!! Was this shyt even necessary? Daniel/Bella twins has defended their titles HURT in their storylines and in real life
So close to Mania guess they wanted a clear vision going forward. Hopefully she gets it back after she heals.

didnt know they had a sis that also wrestled...for awhile now I've hoped that Bo joined the Wyatt family but they may already have their sister Abigail as well
I don't think she wrestles. Haven't heard that she was in training. Bo has been growing a beard so who knows. I've heard that Bray didn't want Bo in the Wyatt family.

Yeah I noticed he was growing out his beard also. He might join the Wyatt family since his character is going nowhere.

Another blast from the past. Featuring Ernie Ladd in a white pimp suit beating Jay Strongbow with a gator then stuffing him with feathers from his headdress after being put in a sleeper hold. :lol2:

Man I feel like I missed a few weeks of Smackdown. How did Randy go from saying I won't fight the master to burning the compound down? Thats a few weeks of buildup that they could have injected into the story before Mania.

Also Randy burning a mans house down and desecration of a corpse is a full heel tactic. I hope this leads to Randy starting his own family. Eric Rowan is activated now.

Shaquille O'Neal Vs. Big Show WrestleMania 33 Match Probably Not Happening

Former NBA great expresses doubt over the status of WrestleMania match.

Shortly after WrestleMania 32, the first bout for 2017's show of shows was made public. Shaquille O'Neal and The Big Show - who had met in the ring at WrestleMania 32's battle royal and were eliminated together - would do battle in a singles bout that was sure to get a ton of mainstream attention. Show made the challenge, and O'Neal accepted the match at last summer's ESPY Awards ceremony.

Now, it looks like the bout may be off. On his podcast, O'Neal mentioned that rumors of the match not taking place were likely accurate, adding that the deal falling apart was not due to any error on his part. The fact that O'Neal went on to challenge Show to meet him for a fight wherever he wants has led many to believe that this is all a work, and part of the match's buildup.

Big Show, who has spent a great deal of time in the gym lately and has shared his progress on social media, recently spurred rumors on when he expressed his own doubts about the status of the match.

Perhaps it shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering he's been virtually invisible on WWE TV since well before the brand split, but Jack Swagger has spoken with WWE management to request his release from the company.

The former WWE world champion was a guest on one of MMA star and analyst Chael Sonnen's two podcasts - Beyond The Fight - in which he spoke at length about his decision to leave the promotion he has worked for since 2006, where he began in their developmental system.

Swagger had this to say:

"As of yesterday, Chael, I asked for my release from WWE. It’s still kind of an ongoing process right now. Basically it came down to contract negotiations and we were way off. They didn’t value me at what I thought I was valued at so... this was a business decision. They weren’t giving me the opportunity to make the full amount of income I could for my family so, when you put it like that, it’s time to go."

Hardy Boyz Likely Headed To WWE After WrestleMania 33?

Their TNA run may soon be DELETED!

The Hardy's contracts with TNA are due to expire this week and Wrestling Observer Radio's David Meltzer reports that it's "certainly in the ballgame, if not likely" they will go back to WWE.

Apparently Jeff Jarrett coming back to his old promotion has made it more likely they are leaving. That may be due to them not having the same level of creative freedom with the new change in management.

However, if the brothers returned to WWE you would expect them to have much, much less freedom than in TNA. It's doubtful that Vanguard 1, Senor Benjamin, King Maxel and even Reby would be joining them in any form.

WWE have rarely been as aggressive in acquiring new talent as they were in 2016, and dozens of new faces joined the company throughout the year. This trend looks set to continue in 2017, and according to a report from Squared Circle Sirens, an interesting new prospect has joined WWE on a developmental contract.

Isabel Lahela is a 22-year-old Canadian Olympic Weightlifter, professional model, and personal trainer, and will report to the Performance Center at the beginning of April.

Lahela is 22 years old, and won the 48kq weighlighting Junior Ontario Championship in 2014, and has since moved into the 53kg division. As well as weight training, Lahela is a retired dancer with 15 years' experience, and recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in architecture.

She took part in a huge set of WWE tryouts at the Performance Center back in September, when 38 men and women vied for contracts. The likes of Kimber Lee and Heidi Lovelace were signed in the aftermath, and while Lahela has only been training as a wrestler since August 2016, it looks like WWE are stacking their roster ahead of the rumoured women's tournament later this year.

Good LORD TNA/Impact are a bunch of fuckups...

More Details on The Broken Hardys’ ROH Deal & If They Have Creative Control, Hardys Not Bound for WWE Anytime Soon
March 5, 2017 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

– Dave Meltzer stated on The Wrestling Observer Radio (via WrestlingInc.com) that as of right now, The Broken Hardys are not heading to WWE anytime soon. Per the report, The Hardys signed a deal with ROH that is not short-term, and they will be working with the promotion for the near future. The exact length of their ROH deal is unknown.

Some thought since the dates the Hardys revealed for ROH in their promo were before WrestleMania 33, it meant their ROH deal could be short-term, but that does not appear to be the case here. Meltzer also stated that part of the Hardys deal with ROH included creative control for their characters. Additionally, they can still work independent dates as well. The tag team is also taking independent dates again. They had recently stopped working those dates since they might not have been able to fulfill them had they signed with WWE.

So I guess now the Mania main event is Goldberg/Lesnar? 28 days away and I think they just making shit up as they go along. I don't remember ever seeing this many title changes this close to Mania

Dave, Chrislee, other OG's who post in here .... I need one of you to make sense of the booking last night for me. I'm trying to give them the benefit of a doubt since we're so close to Mania but WTF happened last night? Two throw away Raw level jobber matches, Strowman losing clean after building him up to the damn moon, no DQ in the women's title match, Owens gets squashed in 22 seconds, and the cruiserweight match being 10 times longer than the main event.
I'm legitimately thinking that they're making these calls on the fly. Like Vince is telling the wrestlers the end to the match as they're walking through the curtains.

Man I don't have a answer. I watched a 2K17 YouTube prediction and they had the main event end the exact same way. Steve and Larson called it in a video last week that Bill wouldn't actually do any real work until Mania. I know Bill has ring rust but Owens could have carried him to a decent match. Now we're going to get a absentee champion in Brock until Roman beats him at Summer Slam.

The "Make Roman look strong" experiment continues. If he beats Taker at Mania just turn him heel because the resentment will only get stronger.

Smackdown > RAW.

The only Raw Wrestlemania match I'm looking forward to is Owens/Jericho.

Best match last night was Samoa Joe/Zayne.

Samoa Joe should go to Smackdown and be that show's "Brock"...

PPV sucked ass last night.

The stories and wrestling is better on Smackdown than it is on Raw.

Damn I was really hoping that you had more insight to that cluster fuck of a PPV. I'm guessing the plan for Reigns and Strowman is for Reigns to beat Taker clean and Strowman to single-handedly eliminate everyone in the Andre the Giant match while also wearing a blindfold.

The Joe match was the best by default of being the only match worthy of being on a PPV. Maybe the cruiserweight title match could be up there too, but the rest of the card was beyond weak.
