Because I was a teacher before and I have personally witness little Beckys have not control of their class room because of the kids have no respect for them and vice versa. Also, only taught in urban schools because they would get their student loans paid off after 5 years which is the real destruction of our black kids. Lived it and witness it. Sometimes in life you need to check who is saying what and why before you make statements as you did. And why do you wonder?

I don't see an issue with her doing it. Like you said, whatever helps her connect with the kids and gets their respect. My real issue is how things like this get covered when it's a cac. This why we as a race should become marketing strategists work behind the scenes and get paid for it, figure out a way to own it through the laws in place. Our intellectual property is so far gone, pimped whored out that we dont know if we are coming or going (just like this thread example). We so desperately want to be on stage, equal rights, but at what cost...now that social media is here....there you are on stage ( your intellectual property, gone) they own it for free. Go ahead and create something so white folks can steel it and make money from it. Yes through marketing. Do you know how many samples are played through advertising? That royalty in most cases goes to the label and the record company and not the artist.
