I told myself I was going to do a news free weekend this weekend to reduce my stress, and I've reduced what I consume some, but that basically involves staying off BGOL and all social media.
I think people do have election fatigue, so I understand the complaints about all the threads being on the main board. I think as a courtesy people should be making these threads in the political forum so people who really want the news can go there and get it or talk about it, but it's hard to build a consensus for that for some reason, and moving threads to the correct section isn't board policy.
I've been laughing at the ridiculousness of some of the things being said and done, but I totally realize this is not a joke and real people, including people who didn't vote for Trump, are being affected. After the election I was actually eerily calm about the entire thing, and I do believe things happen for a reason, but it's starting to get to me a bit now. I need to unplug more.

Trump regrets are about his supporters who were lashing out at folks and gloating about his win and they are shocked or dismayed about something he has done.

I just want you to take care of your mental health. You're one of my favorite people on BGOL and at times, I wondered if this has been taking a toll on you and others. There is being informed and there is overload with information that is not worth your while.

Camille, you don't understand my the reasoning regarding Trump's regrets or their causes. None of it means anything to me. But as long as he has regrets, let's keep them coming. See he's always managed to easily get things his way. I'm thinking the more frustrated he gets the greater the chance for more mistakes on his part.
I want him to expose himself for the fraud that he is. The more regrets, the more knee jerk reactions, the greater the possibility he'll be deemed unsuitable to be president and be ousted or he resigns his post.
We've already seen how poorly he responds to reality. A simple truth like the attendee totals at his inauguration vs Obama's is a pure example of his refusal or inability to "deal with real facts" that don't favor him. Mexico refusing to pay for his wall, his refusal to accept that he lost the popular vote.
So whatever the source that causes him grief, I say bring it on. You already know he's living under a microscope. What better platform for him to be exposed than the world's stage.
