Official BGOL Crypto Currency Thread ★★★★★

I know I know; this thread got me like investing in these coins on the longterm and shorterm; I gotta find another site to facilitate to poly though

I use Coinbase. Love the app and was able to transfer between it and poloniex with ease. It's pretty much my loophole for polo since it won't let me operate from NY as a standalone.

Bitstamp is a fail and its only there for my XRP. Wish I knew about Coinbase before sending my wire transfers to bitstamp. It was $40 per $100 and I did 5. I really wish there was a way to transfer out my XRP from bitstamp without selling

this goes back to a debate that took place in here

Ripple has the advantage of being both a currency and a transport protocol, and the company that bears its name has recently locked up a number of high profile partnerships with major banking institutions. This bodes well for the company, though it's less clear the currency (known as XRP) has a long-term role. Bankers like using Ripple's infrastructure to move money around, but several have told me the currency is unnecessary, and that banks do not want to be forced to use it in the course of foreign exchange transactions.

So did yall all get rich or nah?
I mean 52 pages in..
Hope someone cashed out

Hey fam, this stuff is legit
I'm still learning. So I haven't made a ton of money yet
But in the past few days. I originally invested about $1,500 dollars
So far I've accumulated about $4,000 dollars
Sooooo $2,5000 profit in a weeks time...for not really doing a whole lot except clicking on & watching charts/graphs on your computer

The plan is, hopefully eventually, I'll have enough money to buy the 49ers team from Jed York

;););)

Hey fam heads up...

Yesterday I made a little something which is a blessing, BUT I made xxBTC off of a different coin and some bs happened where I don't see what the popup prompt post buy or sell said. So I sent a ticket to support. Lesson learned to say the least. Bless that the opportunity to do it again is present with this hustle.

Saying all that to say this...

Record your shit for proof so no bs will be going down.

Your buy/sell should show up in your Open orders if you scroll to the bottom of Exchange tab. Then once completed, in your history up top.

Was that what you were looking for why you'd want to record your actions?

No offense but we're more concerned about XRP than Ripple. We KNOW Ripple is going to succeed, we don't know if their currency will. That's the bet.

proposition question on XRP: the banks may decide to use the ripple protocol for transactions and not xrp....but I read that the 2 are a package deal. How does ripple as a currency make money if the bank decides not to use it? and if the bank uses the protocol without the currency, how does that affect XRP even if it does go public? does that mean I can transfer money internationally without the use of the banks at all using ripple or what? I have been searching all morning for his answer.....

Umm where did you read it's a package deal? I would assume they can take it as a package deal and still use the countries money without ever a need to lay a finger on XRP. The infrastructure of Ripple doesn't need XRP to operate which I'm assuming is the reason so many banks are backing it.

I think Ripple is hoping to somehow show the banks how incorporating their currency (XRP) will make transactions as smooth and quick as Ripple itself. I may be wrong, just guessing

Ripple's revenue sources include professional services provided to financial network operators being integrated with Ripple, software built to integrate legacy financial systems with Ripple and the native currency (XRP).

I'm reading more but from this article it seems like ripple currency plays a part in the fast exchange of $$$...like the $$$ is converted to the ripple currency when it enters the "gateway" and is exchanged back when it exits the "gateway"...also I'm curious as to how solid is the partnership between earthport and ripple...depending on how strong their ties are...investing in earthport (which is an option...I'm looking up more on it now) could be worthwhile

Why do you consider Bitstamp a fail? I signed up for it because of the no fee for xrp purchases. I haven't made any transactions yet though.

GAME is having a good run. Wish I got in on it earlier before the rise. I jumped in at 26, it's at 28+ now.
Yeah I was watching it and got me a bitcoin and some change off a mini wave. It's like that vid somebody posted you can keep doing mini flips and just stack.

Aight I think we have some people that have become pros at this, some surging, and some left behind so let's do a recap some we get people ready for the next pump and dump.....to my pros:

Best online wallets?
Best offline wallets? (I know it depends on the coin, but some general)
Best exchange sites? (I saw a few people get shitted on the pascal dump...)
Best offline wallet storage setup?

I am revamping my wife's home office (fuck it I am turning that shit into a alt currency trading room my nihhah on the real) and want to set it up right...buying new pcs (or macs) and erythang

Here is a tip on buying bitcoin and moving it. Download the Coinbase app and don't worry about buying on there, were just using the app to store and transfer Bitcoin.
Download LibertyX app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.libertyx.libertyx&hl=en
LibertyX allows you to buy Bitcoin in person from a store.
Cut and paste your Bitcoin receive address from your coinbase wallet to the LibertyX App, the app will give a code to give to the clerk of the store you picked near you in the App.

Or use this link to find Bitcoin ATM's near you - http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-atm-map/

How to use BTC ATM -

I been in the Crypto space since Aug and have not got a handle on trading. I don't know how to do technical analysis of charts and to see you guys pick this up so fast is amazing. I wish I pulled the trigger on Pascal (Pascal came like the 2nd coming of Jesus) or Nexium I been sitting BTC for a grip not doing shit but I know a lot about the crypto. I not playing games anymore I'm gonna stay glued to this thread, you guys are well versed in one month... All I can say is WOW!

Let this shit be a lesson to all
Fuck man !!!

Peace fam,

Yesterday I started reading up on some technical analysis in order to better identify good investments.

I started here and learned about candlestick analysis.

I highly recommend that everyone who is serious about making this money off digital currency at least reads the candlestick intro.

Polo has a great candlestick feature so I used it to analyze the Rise and Fall of NXC.

I added the candlestick numbers for reference and discussion.

I am thinking of building 4 or 5 mining rigs and renting a small office to store them so they can just mine non-stop. I am still researching the specs i need. Luckily I build PCs as a hobby

Is it a wise strategy to just but the cheapest coins first??? I'm guessing buy up new coins posted on Poloniex would be smart also.

And I still need to learn how to identify trends.
