It was casual Friday in the office and I seen it - I seen a whole GANG OF WHITE GIRLS AND A BLACK ONE with their Best Day Ever shirts on, some even had on bright blue shirts (because they cant wear Trump shirts or anything political to the office per rules) but I was surprised at the number of them that were jumping up and down about the inauguration. And yes, a few of them were indeed Obama voters from years back.
Three of them said it out loud in the lunch room, they were like we voted for Obama to change Washington but he just couldn't do it. One chick said he couldn't do it because he was black and staunch republicans just wouldn't play ball with him HOWEVER maybe they will with Trump! Because he is like Obama was and is NOT part of the establishment. The other one said yeah, he is NOT a career politician and he speaks his mind wereas Obama was TOO nice and the Swamp ran over him.
One of them was like I did not want Hillary representing the power of me, of a white woman or a ANY COLORED WOMAN on the world stage. She went on to say that she would most certainly give her vote to Michelle Obama or Elizabeth Warren in eight years but she would never vote for Crooked Hillary.
I just shook my head, I never said a word and I took it all in. There were a crowd of people in there that agreed with her. Loudly. Black and white. It was unfuckingbelievable.
