Rhonda only has her self to blame for this. On her comeback trail she should have taken a few warm up or under card matches before trying to get a title shot. Her name is very recognizable so it would still be a box office draw as far as ppv sales for a non title match. Also in doing so she could a have a better self assessment of where she's at mentally and physically in terms of her fight game and what needs to be improved. Also her confidence would grown in doing so. No matter how good you are or how good your record states that you are, these are intangibles you will never never never never be able to simulate in practice or training. This is why fighters can never be inactive for long periods of time. She needed to gradually climb and work her way up back for a title shot.

LOL but even still, the result most likely would have been the same but the only difference it would have taken longer for Nunes to earn her victory.
