Don't take this personally but, men of means usually don't have to "step up." That would imply the woman has a lot of shit he'll have to "deal with." Only women with more baggage than Michael Kors need for a man to step up. This is America, people can fuck who they want without having to deal with their bullshit. Many men of means have dated her and not had to step up. this dude is like the CACs who will marry a porn star and thinks normal men would be jealous of him.

I would argue that I have a very strong grasp of the concept of time.

Also, losing half of my assets, AND alimony in divorce is going to hurt me a hell of a lot more than some birthday and Christmas gifts, and eating out at restaurants.

I have more than enough disposable income.

Serena is likely worth 100x what Alexis is worth. Reddit sold for a small amount (before it got big) and he owned very little of it. It's definitely a come up for HIM. And she'll continue to make millions through endorsements. She'll continue to easily outearn him. Superstar athletes with worldwide recognition don't stop earning when they stop playing.

When I say step up, I mean that all intimate relationships have two paths: breaking up or marriage. This man obviously wanted to marry this woman and did so. To me, step up means do right by a woman, especially if you plan on having a family with her or being in her life for a while. Call me old school, but I also know this: no 30-something year old woman (regardless of race) just wants to date forever and not get married. Perhaps the only exception would be a woman who's been in several bad relationships, especially if they were abusive. Even my best friend who went through a horrible divorce with a man wants to be married to her current boyfriend. Every woman believes they're deserving of it, and I do think Serena deserves it too.

I know how I want to lead my life, and am well aware of my age, and what I want to accomplish over the course of the next ten to twenty years. I can get married at any time if I choose to.

To your question, I can't marry a white woman because I can't. Thats too deep a commitment to make to a non-black woman.
