I'm hoping we face the Lions instead of Green Bay cuz Aaron Rodgers is peaking and that scares me. I agree our running game & offensive front line issues are significant flaws that will be our undoing

I think we match up well with either (their O vs our D). Athletic TEs and RBs catching passes out the back field will continue to cause issues. The big question is our offense. Who can guard ODB better? Is Slay (det cb) still hurt? Both defenses (gb & det) are just OK to me.
Having said all this, I agree that Detroit is the better match up.
I was contemplating this myself... I think we can get away with the running game we have displayed recently, but Eli has regressed significantly. He has no touch now. See his passes over 20 yards. Recall how many of those reach the receiver in stride, in bounds, out of reach of the defender... none. Some of this can be blamed on the O-line, but even with time his throws are too long, too short, too low, too high or into coverage. The only accurate throw he makes are slants.
I vote more Perkins, less Jennings. Also, more OBJ on punt returns, too.
Our D was very effective in our early matchup against GB, except our pass rush was ineffective and the O was inept. Our DBs can cover, we would just need to limit Rodgers scramble drill.
Yeah but Rodgers wasn't carving up teams like he is now. I still like our chances against them but just saying that team is really peaking right now

You never know with McAdoo. The offense needs no rest. They need to be out there getting their shit straight before the playoffs.
Any members of the D needing to recover should take Sunday off... they earned it.
