wwe need to treat 205 like nxt.
the tournament was over because it full sails with a smaller intense diehard fanbase.

everything has sputtered since

I don't see the cruiseweights bring around much longer if things keep going this way.
On a completely different note, I'm already sick of the excessive PPVs. Even with 2 rosters there isn't seems enough setup time before the PPVs. The last Smackdown didn't even seem like a go home show.

On the cruiserweight division there's nothing to set them apart after Vince telling them to tone down their style. You have a handful of main roster guys who are doing suicide dives and tope con hilo's that when cruiserweights do them it's no big deal. They need to go all out like they did during the CWC. The cruiserweight division is being treated how the women used to be treated.

The Wyatts are about to drop the hottest mix tape of 2016.

Only days after it was announced that Mickie James was offered a full-time contract to return to WWE, PWInsider is reporting that the deal has been completed. James is expected to start appearing on television next month and to compete on the Smackdown brand. PWInsider has also stated that the contract is for three years.

James's return comes hot on the heels of her NXT TakeOver: Toronto match against Asuka for the brand's Women's Championship. Her return was announced in October by NXT General Manager William Regal, who hand-picked her as an opponent for "The Empress of Tomorrow." James would subsequently make her first WWE TV appearance in more than six years in order to hype the bout.

James's first run with the company lasted from 2003 to 2010 and saw her capture five Women's Championships and one Divas' Title. Her tenure on the promotion's main roster was bookended by some infamous angles - she joined the company as Trish Stratus's number one fan, though she eventually turned stalker and showed a sexual obsession with Stratus. Her last major program was a feud with LayCool in which the tandem repeatedly body-shamed James.

Update On Big Damo Joining Sanity
Why is the NXT newcomer replacing Sawyer Fulton?

WhatCulture/Ollie Sandler, The Ringside Perspective
UK star and former WhatCulture Pro Wrestling World Champion Big Damo made his WWE TV debut on Wednesday evening's episode of NXT, staring down Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe from Sanity. On future episodes of the show that have yet to air, Damo joins the group, taking Sawyer Fulton's place.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason for Fulton's replacement is that the NXT rookie has suffered an injury. His exact status is unknown, but it is believed that he damaged either his shoulder or his bicep, and he will be of action for several months. The last match in which he competed was a six-man tag team contest against No Way Jose and TM-61 in Boston on November 17.

Fulton first signed with WWE in 2012, though he's been slow to develop. Over the past several years, he's largely been used as an enhancement talent, with the September debut of Sanity marking his first major shot at a storyline. Damo, meanwhile, signed with the company in October after months of speculation, and began working the NXT brand's house show tours in November.

Well she did break the policy. Reigns got shitted on after he broke the policy.

So I've been binging the Monday Night Wars series on WWE Network during my week off. I'm about a quarter of the way through, and here are some initial thoughts:

1. Damn, does Keith David narrate EVERYTHING?

2. Damn, Bret really DID screw Bret. I didn't realize he had become such a diva by that point. Vince gave him every option in the world to hand over the strap on his way out and look as good as possible while doing it, and Bret said no to everything. He was really willing to sacrifice the whole title legitimacy just to not put Shawn over. Vince did what he had to do for the biz, and I can't blame him.

3. HBK gets a bum rap for being a full-blown asshole during that stretch in the mid 90's, but DAMN was this dude under a lotta pressure. He was the only guy left for a stretch who could sell tickets, and so he had to carry the entire business on his back. That's got to be stressful as shit, especially since he was the captain of a losing team at that point. All the top guys had gone to WCW, and the top talent at WWE had just been bumped up from midcard, so they still had developing to do, and so WWE was getting slaughtered in the ratings by WCW. If Shawn didn't carry the weight of the business at that time and sell as many tickets and PPV buys as he did, then WWE may very well have folded. No wonder his body broke down the way it did. He gave it all to keep WWE competitive. I got a whole new respect for HBK. I'm not sure how many guys could've done that in that situation.

4. Stone Cold has his partnership with Brian Pillman to thank for him developing his edgier persona the way he did. He was pretty damn forgettable before then.

5. Bischoff could not develop talent for SHIT!!!

6. Did Macho Man really take Stephanie McMahon's virginity? (This wasn't in any of the videos. It just popped back in my head today for some reason).

While much of the feedback has been positive, there has also been a lot of negative response with regard to the picture we posted illustrating Rich, Sasha, Xavier, E, and myself wielding our championship titles. Perhaps this is because many are in question of the motivation behind the post:

It does not come from a place of malice, spite, or gloating. It comes from a place of joy and a place of happiness. We have a very strong sense of pride in being the Black People simultaneously holding championships in WWE. Historically in our nation, there was period in time where this would not have happened, followed by a long period of time where it became possible, but had not actually materialized. Now, we are in the time in which the possibility has become a reality.

Why does this matter?

It matters because even though it is hard for some to fathom, the fact is that there are many people who feel as though it is impossible to attain certain goals because of the color of their skin. This is why we must acknowledge the color of ours in this instance. It is important for people of all races, but particularly people of color, and especially the youth, to see that it is entirely possible to achieve your dreams and aspirations regardless of your race. We are a shining example who want to be a source of motivation for others to believe in themselves and do the same.

Excellence is not the same as supremacy.
#BlackExcellence is not meant to be divisive. For even if you do not fall into the specific category, you can still take enjoyment in our pride, because in the biggest picture, in a society that often focuses on the negative aspects of race relations, what has transpired with the 5 of us speaks positively to the progress we've made as a nation.

sort of a joke. lesnar isnt gonna fight. he got paid over 5mil

Yeah - it would be interesting to see what type of PPV buy rate numbers he scored on that contract for July. They can really add up for the big names in the sport on the popular PPV cards. Especially after returning to the organization after a handful of years away.
