Charlie Strong Fired after 31-9 loss to TCU

Right...its his fault...he coming in trying to play ol chalie the goodern and show his provram wont tolerate what every winning college program ever has...

Black coaches always be on that bullshit when it comes to talented athletes...let tem play...win games and pull them to the side and handle it one on one
100% consign

Not sure why black coaches be on the bullshit

He entered into a fucked up situation with a depleted the roster that was in capable of winning. Sometimes, the coach can pull it out and turn a shit sandwich into a buffet. Jim Harbaugh did it in Michigan. Most times, the situation you are walking into is impossible. That's why the previous coach got fired.
And that's why Strong got fired... Shit, you have to show SOME improvement Bruh. I have no issue with this based on his performance. If he was showing even gradual improvement, 1 or 2 wins a season I'm maybe a little swollen, but he showed absolutely NO improvement whatsoever record wise after 3 seasons. That shit warrants the axe fan on any level...

He didn't win enough period

Nobody saying be a title contender but some of the losses were unacceptable

You are still UT and you still got talent

He should have never left Louisville....he had a school who was happy with his success and he had a great pipeline to the Florida High Schools....at Louisville as long as he was competive for the ACC title every yr....went to a decent Bowl Game...he could have stayed forever like Bobby Bowden

Mack Brown was 8-5 his last year. Charlie Strong can't even sniff that record at Texas. I wanted Charlie hired but he can't win any games. He shouldn't of ran those players are for smoking weed. Big fucking deal!!!! That killed the depth of the team. Him hiring sorry ass Shawn Watson at OC also hurt him. Tyrone Swoopes being your QB also got his ass fired. That nigga Swoopes can't throw the ball for shit! How the fuck a true freshmen beat you out for a starting position?!!! Charlie Strong was to stubbern in doing it his way.

The rails came all the way off for my man. I thought they'd at least rally around him and make it a tough decision. Goddamn man where the fuck is all this talent they're supposed to have??? Coaching aside Texas looks like a team full of 2-3 star recruits.

Yeah you can't be posting 5-6 season and expect to keep a job at a premiere University

Shit I went to the University of Oklahoma and even I was pulling for Texas to win.

Can't lose to a basketball school...

*two cents *

Charlie Strong - "I should've stayed my black ass at Louisville"

Charlie Strong had to have some serious doubt the first time he met those all white booster members
wearing them Walker Texas Ranger cowboy hats

Multiple dynamics,

He turned an undisciplined school around

Let's cut the shit the talent Texas normally gets was residing in Waco, college station, stillwater, norman, a few big ten schools and baton rouge

He was in a lose lose situation the boosters didn't want him from day one what kind of way is that to coach ?

The defense got better but still if you ain't got it between your ears what can he do as a coach ?? Strong doesn't play db or lb or DT or qb so if niggas ain't executing what you want ? When the stock piles are low you can't just switch niggas out for being a screw up

The rules he set Fourth were not bad I think they were not impossible
The nerve of him wanting you to leave Texas with some degree... Like most black coaches because they recognize you need some back up plan and a degree is something to be proud of and utilize

Now what's sad is, he got the team back on track and getting some talent and now some white boy is gonna come in and get credit for getting over the hump via the hard work he did

Clearly he can win he did it with less at lu and quietly went on to have more talent than he has now but people are impatient

I have never heard a black man say "Black Card"....BGOL, the new stormfront reloaded
so what would you call it, a white card? Saying a losing coach got fired because he's black is fucking asinine and bullshit! It lessens the cause. We have real legitimate cases of discrimination and harassment. When a fucking fool rushes to use the black card bullshit people will be less likely to take the claim seriously. They will say "these blacks always cry racism no matter what". Right is right and wrong is wrong. He's under .500 in a major college program. He deserves to be fired. Fuck YOU niggas with this black shit

:rolleyes2:
It would be different if he was putting together 9-4 or 10-3 seasons. Then we would could argue about giving the brotha some time because he is so close.

Can't really defend Strong when he was posting these numbers

Year 1 6-7
Year 2 5-6
Year 3 5-6
but wait...I'm a cac or a coon because it should be very obvious to me that he was only fired because he's black.

What happened to Texas is recruits started going to Baylor and TCU. The Big 12 should of never let Colorado, Mizzou, Nebraska, TAMU leave the fucking conference. Then on top of that some premier Texas talent is going East to the SEC. When Mack Brown was on top shit like that just didn't happen. Recruiting wars was always between Texas and OU for the elite talent. How the fuck does a QB from Channelview, Texas end up at fucking Bama???? You can't let shit like that happen. Or Tony Brown from Beaumont end up at BAma. I could see LSU because SE Texas is basically Louisiana.

I just watched his press conference and he is a dead man walking. Talking about I'm leading boys to be men etc. Single moms and parents love how I'm leading their sons. Other coaches calling to say I'm doing a good job. Nigga they won't your Black ass at Texas because you aint 'doing shit. No good coach wants an elite coach at Texas. Talking about the wins just aren't matching up. Hey Charlie the win column is all that fucking matters.

What makes matters worst is you got that white guy over at UH who was a grad assistant at Texas killing it. Dude beat Florida State and then stomped OU while Strong over here losing to Kansas. U of H got a white guy wearing gold grills to get his players to play.

you niggas are fucking idiots. You're acting like he was auditioning for the job and he did all kind of shit and will lose the job to some cac. They paid him in one year more than you will make in your life! He's still owed ten fucking million dollars! Was it racist when they gave him all of that money? Was it racist to fire him even though they knew they would have to pay him 10 million to NOT coach? I mean really? Niggas here are retarded!

If they paid him millions of dollars they obviously thought he could win now. They gave him 3 seasons and it never looked like the program was heading in the right direction.

I can't fuck with you crying ass fools. I bet If everyone in your sons class passes the test with a 100 and your son was the only one to fail you would be crying racism. Everyone here is an idiot

My issue with Strong remains how they lose games & who they lose to. Them niggas be seeming clueless as fuck. The problem is...UT thinking the answer to their prayers is in Tom Herman :smh:

I'm glad dude has turned around my school, but he hasn't proven he's ready for the gig. Ward is in the last group of guys recruited by Sumlin before he left, the seniors last year was Sumlin's last signed class. Levine had a couple of good classes as well. He took a talented team, added discipline and won. People think he's Ohio State, but that's Urban's system not his. He's a CEO coach like Sumlin was. UT would be smart to keep Strong around and let his guys get to be upper-classmen. The fact UT didn't have a QB is on Mack Brown, Strong finally got one they should let him build with him.

He lost to kansas...it's the first time Kansas has beaten Texas since the 1930s lol.

For all you Strong defenders, how do you justify this?
He is the WORST coach in school history.
There's no getting around that.
You can't excuse this because he had unwavering support from the big cigars and decision makers.
They gave him every chance to succeed and he failed miserably.

Sometimes a decent qb makes all the difference in the world. That's what made him successful at Louisville. He had Teddy Bridgewater. Even with that, he won with Bridgewater and a weak ass schedule

Bruh he went 6-7 his first season, 5-6 his second season and 5-6 his third season. How can you say with a straight face that Strong was getting Texas back on track?

People are impatient? It takes 3 years to win more than 6 games?

CS tried to clean up the program a little and suffered for it. Kicking those 9 kids off of the team may have looked good to the parents of future recruits with the "new sheriff in town/new day in texas" agenda. But looking back....he may have actually needed some of those goons in the trenches. :smh:

Mack Brown won 8 games his last season. Charlie Strong hasn't even come close to winning 8 games. Charlie Strong chose to keep Tyronne Swoopes as his starting QB.

Dude that program was in shambles and talent got mack 8-5 and when strong got there what did he have ?

He obviously had the juice to get nobodies to some bodies but its hard with no solid qb and you defense hitting up

I can admit it is time to get him out of there but I feel he needed time its honestly tragic and a systemic issue a lot of coaches built their legacy off of a black coaches talent

Cuz you know charlie could make them boys execute better I suppose he could play defense and offense too the team played a shit game

Fam he tripping....Strong did a bad job there. Can't be an enforcer if you don't win enough games to support your 'New Sherrif in town' objectives
