Ok now this adds a huge wrinkle into my timeline theory. It's clear that that room was the same room where we always see the secret conversations between Bernard and Delores. And this episodes made it appear that in this timeline Bernard was not aware of the door. We also see a host clearly being built in the area where Delores and Bernard normally have their conversations. Based on what I've seen in that room during their convos.... I'm now of the belief that we are seeing three different timelines. I think that their conversations together occur after... the major reveal that occurs in the present timeline.
I'm also starting to believe that Bernard is actually the embodiment of Arnold. And that when Bernard saw the picture of Ford and Arnold that he saw the other white guy... because that's what he needed to see to protect himself.

I'm still not feeling the multiple timelines.
I think Bernard is a "clone" of sorts. I'm guessing the real Bernard was sent there by the company just like Theresa, and he too ended up a blood sacrifice.
I'm also willing to bet that host that is being created is a new Theresa.

side note... Ford's "Blood Sacrifice" was chilling because before she died.. Not only did ol girl know that her former lover was about to kill her but she also had to wonder what else does Ford know. For him to pick that exact type of wording.
Side note.. that also makes you wonder about Ol girl from Delos being a host as well, but the preview from next week appears to kill that theory.

there is definitely two different timelines going on. But it is hard not to say that there isn't a third one after this episode. Bernard acts as if this was the first time that he saw this room.

Bernard's reactions are programmed - so its unwise to judge anything in the show based on his reactions
He could have had his memory wiped, cause it would mean he was probably working on fords behalf.
Either way it's getting real interesting. This was a great episode even without the twist.
True but the one consistent reaction is the hosts not seeing items that would hurt them. They always say... This means nothing to me.
Side note.... I'm now really starting to look at these pictures that they show the hosts to see if they recognize them. The picture that Delores saw in Episode 1 was very similar to one of the photos that Bernard showed ol boy tonight.

the only thing that I do know about this show is that Anthony Hopkins and Thandie Newton are getting Emmys. I don't see how you can't....Which fucking sucks because that means it's going to be another year where Matthew Rhys from the Americans gets screwed.

The black girl from the corp. is next. While she fucking hosts Ford is catching everything she say and do. So Ford caught the WHOLE convo ole girl had with Theresa. The host was sitting on the bed tied up looking dead at they mufuckin ass.
So basically everytime the corp send somebody Ford kills em and duplicate they ass and send em back. That way he ALWAYS ahead of the game. He had Bernard kill that bitch in the same room where he was making a new "her".
I'm gonna assume the corp don't or stopped sending men because they figured easy to manipulate a man with sexy host. So they sending women.

Ford ain't NEVA gonna lose. They send a man he got host for them whether they straight or gay. THey send a woman the same thing.

throw in evan rachel wood too... but Anthony is just straight BEASTING... with Saul and Fargo in the mix it was competitive, but now? Matthew has no chance this year, every scene with Hopkins is just a clinic in acting truly being about reactions

She's probably been prepping Theresa to get "replaced" for a while: remember the meeting Theresa had with Ford where he told her that he knows everything about the park and it's employees? That was him letting her know that he was on to her stealing data but he wasn't ready to replace her there.

Man I know.... Matthews has zero chance man and it's killing me. Until Mr. Robot came out i was certain that he would win, but now I just don't see a path. He might not even get nominated now. And You have to give it to Hopkins this year. There is no way that he doesn't get this. I mean he is killing it with just his eyes. He doesn't even need to say shit.
I was about to say something similar about Hopkins,he's been killing it.

I think it was renewed before the first episode.
it hasn't been renewed yet - but I read somewhere they wrote 5 seasons but intend to resolve the main stories in this season in a way not to leave anyone hanging ...
Westworld still has not been renewed for Season 2 yet and the first season is already more than halfway done. Fans are hoping to see the breakout sci-fi thriller renewed and HBO execs are hopeful, saying that despite a slight drop in ratings since the first three episodes, Westworld can be expected for renewal.
Well dang... I thought that it was automatic.
