I can understand Wayne completely on one end. Everyone is not articulate enough to speak on subjects like BLM or civil rights issues. Instead of misrepresenting the movement you rather stay in the background to help with change.

there is a line in the song that video is from where they say something about taking a picture. They are all pantomiming that line, not throwing up c's.

Also, cats don't know about new Orleans culture. Before all this blood bullshit started, it was all about the soldier rag, period. The color didn't matter, because NO banged wards and not colors. But everybody and I mean EVERYBODY was about rocking a bandana (soldier rag). A lot were camo, but any other color was cool too because colors didn't have nothing to do with it. Eventually I think some areas started wearing different colors to rep, but that was never the core of NO gangsterism. Even in one of those pics you posted they all have on different colors.

Somebody has been pushing that they were crips shit for years, it's false.

Maybe he did call Wayne but still wanted to get the message out to the world
Maybe he tried to reach him and couldn't for some reason. Should he have waited? I say no.
Maybe T.I. is thinking about the greater good. Rappers are always quick to beef with each other, who cares if he aired him out in public.

Using social media, which everyone is on is a better way to get the overall message out to the masses of people.
A personal call to Wayne wouldn't have the had the same impact

Why would you make the assumption that people didn't already think and say that Lil Wayne was an idiot?

No one , and I mean NO ONE said that what TI said was wrong. You could go through the other threads and probably see the same people saying that same thing. The difference is TI calls Lil Waybe his FRIEND. If I think my friend is wrong , even in public, I will talk to him about it in private or at least face to face in public.

Good example I recently saw was Bow Wow on drink champs w Nore. Nore did the whole show w Bow Wow, told him how much he admires the work and him as a person, THEN , at the end, he lovingly got at him about his bullshit be did on Twitter related to BLM. The way he did it, bow wow didn't have any time to do anything but agree that he was stupid, and Nore moved on with the shit.

TI even went so far as to end the shit with a hashtag of his fuckin mixtape. And on top of that, he's been around Wayne for years and this ain't the first thing Wayne or Tip have done that was coonish. Gangster Rappers , by their very nature , ARE COONS anyway.

Who knows how it will affect Wayne. I don't know him, never meet him. I don't really care what he says or does, its his life. He's doing him and i'm doing me. I'm just saying that Everyone is assuming he Didn't talk to Wayne first. Who knows, maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I have no problem with T.I. airing him out in public.
