You need to tell that to someone whose father isn't a die hard White Sox fan from the South Side. I get that there are exceptions to any rule, but the Cubs are Chicago's lily white, establishment, woe-is-me team, and the Sox are the team that most black Chicago baseball fans support.

I'm talking about fan bases here. The Cubs fan base is predominantly cac. Cacs love the 'loveable loser' narrative when it comes to sports (especially because of how we dominate athletic activities).
If I lived in a city in which the overwhelming majority of my people supported one team, and the overwhelming majority of cacs supported the other, guess which team I'm choosing to be down with.

Yea...cant gauge it by what u see on TV. Most of the people u see at football, basketball baseball etc games aint Black. But that has more so to do with not having the means to get SEASON TICKETS. Playoff ticket prices get even more ridiculous.
I dont know about Cleveland, but a VERY large percentage of Bulls , Bears and Cub ticket holders are season ticket holders. Thats why they have so many sell outs. The only seats that remain a lot of times are the bs seats.
