Yes all things considering if we are talking about basketball specifically and nothing else
Greatness is subjective right?
I think both are great in their own right.
I'm not sure if either is better than the other. Different players. Different mind sets. I'd take either one as my first pick based on career.
I don't think what Jordan did against the Celtics when we dropped 60 is no better than what Bron did to the Pistons.
6-0 is better than ?-4 though....
It is, but is that the measurement we going off of?
Yes. At the highest possible level of achievement, when there is a like comparison, never losing will always trump losing. 100% winning percentage will always outweigh lesser percentages. Especially when in the comparison, one player has ALWAYS been the best player on the court during the times of playing at the highest possible level in the given sport.
True. But LeBron still has loses on his ledger in the finals, was directly responsible in a sense for one of loses, has been outplayed for an entire series by lesser players on the other team in the finals and has more series loses than wins in the finals. Jordan, on the other hand has never been party to any of those things it has always been for every final series he's played in the best player on the best team is winning MVP of every finals he's ever appear in. So cool, Lebron may have had one or two statistical anomaly type series. But that will never supersede 100% winning percentage in finals, and 100% winning percentage in terms of MVP of every finals that he's played in.I definitely understand your point. I'm not sure if I totally agree, but I see where you are coming from.
If we are using finals as the standard of measurements, then that fairly clear cut. Personally I can't just settle for that. Bron has done great things in the finals that Jordan hasnt and vice verse. Winning chips is a team thing and Jordan had help that came through when Bron had some shortcomings from his teammates.
It is, but is that the measurement we going off of?
it shouldnt be...especially since basketball is a TEAM sport
i could understand if it was tennis or boxing
shit robert horry has 7 rings...its a horrible arguement
Leading three different teams to championships is the only path to be considered G.O.A.T. status now. Lebron come on over to Philly and lead that franchise to a championship and he will have done something that could escalate him to GOAT status.
Show me what Jordan has accomplished with HOF coach Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen. Personally MJ loses points on "quitting" the game twice. Lebron is penalized for leading his team to the finals which makes sense for the 6-0 arguments that means Jordan could only get to the finals 6 times there is no telling what happened if he was to get to the finals as often as Lebron and to be able to do it 8 straight years. MJ had a nice three point post Bad Boy Pistons Declining Celtics and Laker franchises. Dont act like Mike was beating powerhouse teams when in fact his team was the GSW. Why not call KD the GOAT he is doing what MJ did? Played on the greatest team of all time with 2-3 top twenty players, one DPOY, and top Six man in Kukoc.
Im so tired of hearing michael jordan name, he is not even playing any more
Breakdown or gambling problem and was forced to retire to avoid the embarrassment of a suspension and blackballed from the league.Im so tired of hearing michael jordan name, he is not even playing any more, if he didnt have that break down he prolly would have won 7 championships in a row
ummmm...his father getting murdered on a lonely road might of had something to do with it.Breakdown or gambling problem and was forced to retire to avoid the embarrassment of a suspension and blackballed from the league.

Same amount that LeBron won without Wade and Kyrie. Same amount that Kobe won without Shaq and Gasol. Pierce without KG. What's your point? How can a player win a ring without teammates?how many championships Jordan won without pippen? or grant/rodman? ill wait
@tallblacknyc will not be amused.Shouldve paid those gambling debts.
@tallblacknyc will not be amused.
Wait in 2 weeks. Hes really gon be livid. Niggas think MJ is safe.![]()

Jordan left his PEERS starving, destitute and suffering from clinical depression.
Players deal with death in the family all the time in the league and keep on playing "B". Shit average Joe's deal with that shit everyday and only get a week tops bereavement leave then it's back to work. That dude had a mental break down but everybody talks about how mentally tough he is. Shit he has two mental break downs under his belt where he "had to walk away" but he's seen as being mentally tough. I'm not being funny I'm just keeping it 100. You can't claim mental toughness with two break downs on your resume. No matter what you call those break downs.ummmm...his father getting murdered on a lonely road might of had something to do with it.
