Eagles trade Bradford to the Vikings

Teddy Bridgewater may not be ready for 2017?

According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the Vikings traded for Sam Bradford based at least partially on the "belief that Teddy Bridgewater (knee) may not be back by the start of 2017."

Teddy suffered a devastating knee injury in a late-camp practice, tearing his ACL, dislocating his knee, and enduring "other structural damage." We're not betting against Bridgewater returning earlier than expected, but the Vikings have to protect themselves if that's the case. The Vikings have newly acquired Sam Bradford under contract for the next two seasons at $36 million.

At this point Bradford has to have made at least $200 Million Dollars :smh:

Chase Daniel 'not happy' with Eagles

A source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo that Chase Daniel is "not happy" the Eagles plan to start Carson Wentz (ribs) when healthy.

Despite barely playing in the preseason, the Eagles want to go with Wentz once he's recovered from his ribs injury, which could be as soon as Week 1. While we understand Daniel's frustration, he did nothing to help himself in August by turning in poor preseason performance after poor preseason performance. A career backup, Daniel will resume his usual role when Wentz gets back.

No. I'm not writing him off but giving up a 1st and a 4th means minny is hedging their bets and aren't 100% confident that he's going to be back to how he was
it's not trading for bradford, bradford is irrelevant in this. it's a 1st round fucking pick.
if you trade a 1st round pick, you're trading away a potential 10-11 year starter in your ideal world for a person who's only going to be there for 1 until the franchise guy comes back?
Like when Brady tore his knee up, the patriots didn't trade a 1st round pick for anyone....

And they missed the playoffs by taking a backseat to AFC West Chumps Chargers (8-8) If the Vikings don't get to the Divisional Round this will be a horrific trade. Gave up way too much.

They missed the playoffs
But then won super bowls after that because of the draft picks they didn't give up for that 1 season LOL.
Chargers didn't win the bowl did they?

You mean the first rounds? Isn't it a given they will?

Teddy Bridgewater's Gruesome Injury Was Reportedly So Bad He Nearly Lost His Leg

Kap isn't a better qb but he is a much better athlete.

When it comes to throwing accuracy Bradford runs laps around Kap but he can't stay healthy.

muthafuckin OUCH!!!!!! damn this is what essentially happened to him :scared:

Laughable

Kap has never been known for his passing accuracy.

He's known for his legs and his deep ball.

That dude is Oklahoma through and through he fights for Bradford against all people even when Bradford has shown he ain't shit.
So don't even waste your time.

I'm also a fan of football first and have always been honest with my assestment of Bradford.

4 years with no offensive line or weapons in St. Louis.

Terrible first half of the season after two years of no play last year and a decent to good (with the worst receiving core in the NFL) final 8 games.

People that knock Bradford probably never followed him, just see how much he's made and his lack of production to knock him.

Rams O-line still sucks and the Eagles still looking for a receiver to hold onto the ball.

If he stays healthy they win the NFC North.

And yet you dismiss what Kap has proven he can do if a good team and coaching staff is around him?

I agree, Mr. Glass ass qb.

I'm not doubting Kap at all, I just don't think he is a better passing (should have added that originally) qb than Bradford is.

He is though. He just actually need #1 wr's lol. He hasn't had a legit weapon in the wr spot his entire career.
his #1 crab left and became #2 to a rookie who is better than him in cooper
and Boldin was past his prime already when he got there and Kap still made him a 1k yard wr.
with no 2 or 3 wr. you can't even name the 3rd wr for the 49ers and you can't name the 2nd if boldin or crabtree both weren't on the field.

Only thing I can think of is his cleat getting stuck in the turf while he was running. All I know is that shit must've been beyond painful. I shattered bones in my knee when I was younger and that shit was painful as fuck but this is some next level injury.

All those guys you listed are better than any receiver Bradford has ever had.

Kap had a very good offensive line, a running game and a top five defense.

Kap in a good spot with Chip, he will beat out Blaine and run the offense that Chip Kelly wants to run.

said his knee basically exploded...years of running hard on it...probably an injury that went unnoticed or unreported that grew worse :dunno:

They train too much...
Way too much training their bodies never get rest for years and years. Especially football. There is no off season for them training wise.

1st and a 4th that could turn into a 3rd or 2nd depending on how Bradford performs. I would've been excited about a 2017 2nd round pick and that's it. Howie fleeced the Vikings
