It seems that controversy is regularly included in the price of admission for Drake and Future’s “Summer Sixteen” Tour.

The “Controlla” star has used his summer tour microphone as a megaphone to address his critics, as well as to launch some criticisms of his own. He (might’ve) sent shots at Tory Lanez in Austin, definitely dissed Joe Budden in Dallas, took shots at Hot 97 while in the station’s home of New York City, and, most recently, called Meek Mill a “pussy” in Washington, D.C. before taking more shots at his foe in his hometown of Philadelphia.

Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg clearly had enough on Monday (August 22), and called out Drake for talking the talk without walking the walk.

“[Meek Mill]’s always been realer than you..your content is MEANINGLESS” the radio host posted in a series of tweets, reigniting the animosity between his station and the Toronto rapper. “… @drake wouldn’t have been the toughest kid in my hebrew school … stop … make hits for the club…dont try to be hard please…EVER”

Earlier this month, Hot 97 and Drake clashed after Rosenberg’s co-host Ebro Darden told a story that set off a firestorm of rumors thatEminem was about to send for Drake in a diss song. He later clarified that he’d just been joking. Drake responded during his Madison Square Garden show, saying the station was “telling lies” and also called for the firing of Funkmaster Flex, who was involved in leaking the alleged reference tracks during Drake’s beef with Meek Mill.

In Monday’s Twitter rant, Rosenberg makes reference to Drake’s early history as an actor in Toronto, contrasting it to Meek Mill’s upbringing in the streets of Philadelphia. The world (or at least the part of it watching a Canadian teen TV drama series) first caught wind of Aubrey Drake Graham when he played Jimmy Brooks in 145 episodes of “Degrassi: The Next Generation” in the 2000s.

Check out the full rant, with Ebro jumping in, below.

Realer??? Drake openly sings about being a simp. What's realer than that? Meek raps about killing niggas. He's never done such a thing. Tell that butt hurt cac kike to go eat some Motza balls and choke on it. All because Drake shit on his shitty station. Hoe ass heimy.

None of them are. Rosenberg is butt hurt because Drake took shots at Hot97 and it probably raised an eyebrow in the upper offices :dunno:

Basically and Ebro bitch ass starting bullshit rumors he tried to back track on when Drake called them niggas liars

Bet if Em had went at drake for some shit Ebro started that fuck nigga would not have said shit and acted like he ain't have nothing to do with it.. That's why I'm glad Em shut that shot down and drake openly called them liars

Rosenburg trying to deflect now

That's all it is fam, people in those offices on the upper floors have been wondering how to get the station back to where it fell from and now, maybe just maybe, a light bulb went off and someone said "we gotta get these old niggas up outta here"

Meek can't even rap what he wants anymore without a DA and Judge reminding him of the consequences if he do. He's being forced not to be street.
:roflmao::roflmao:

Meek was in the street.... not only by his account, but by others. He been rapping since the fuzzy braids on street corners.

That don't mean he a killer or whateva, but he's a real person. He didn't wake up one day and decide he was a rapper. He put in the work.

"Only so long you can pretend." Shit is true... good or bad, Meek put in time & work.

Half a CAC on the other hand.. says his "acting days are over".. but I would say not so much.

So drake ain't put in work? You niggas act like nigga went from DeGrasse high to Rappin over night

being from a hood is real? lol. dumb fuck. i care about good music, not if an artist is real or not. None of them are. Drake has better producers and music. Sorry.

I thought you were referring to what they rap about. If you ask me, Meek was a regular dude from/in the hood and that was just his circumstances. He wasn't some OD tough guy who was putting in work, he got caught with a hammer and been on papers since

I think he means street shit, which nobody ever said Meek really did outside of getting caught with a ratchet and that's nothing.

That's what i'm gathering, which is why I said that was his circumstance, it doesn't mean he was putting in work

That recent shit with Joe Budden was a clear indicator that they (those specific radio personalities) have lost touch with why people listen in.

Example: I'm from Atlanta. I wouldn't know who they were/are if it wasn't for the internet. I don't listen to the radio in Atlanta...Hell I care about ny radio. I also didn't know Joe Budden had a podcast or who else used to be on it... didn't really care.

I clicked to watch an interview of one of my favorite artists, not to see them have a personal conversation about individual shit that I didn't know or care about ...on the air!

They think they're the talent...when don't nobody give a fuck about them if they ain't got a guest artist in the studio.

Ebro & Rosenberg talk about their kid & wife like they've contributed to hip-hop... foh

You hit the nail on the head fam. I, like you, don't even listen to nor do I give 2 fucks about the radio. When I get in my my V my phone connects via bluetooth and I pull out

No, not being from the hood.... just being an authentic, sincere person.

One minute drake is a trick, a ladies man, in his feelings, next he's telling somebody who they aren't (Chris Brown) & saying how he'll treat a Grammy winner like a nominee..

Yet in real lifew he gets pissed on (by Tip's homie Cap), punched in the face & eye blacked (documented with pics), & exposed for not writing his own shit

this shit right fucking here!!!!

Why would any real man, father, journalist/dj think it was a good idea to talk about that bullshit on air, when 99% of mfkrs didn't tune in for that....shit talking about the drake disses, instagram stans running up on him, why he doesn't have a release date for his cd...why he doesn't promote..that's all relevant to fans. Not why he kicked ole girl off the podcast. thats between them, let them have that conversation when it happens, don't force that shit on the fans.."for the culture."

could care less about that. is his music good in the whip?
meek on an ankle bracelet for some dumb shit while his boss lady makes money. Can't respect a man like that. But that's besides the point. Is his music any good? Nope.

Hot97 has been a cancerous boil on the ass of Hip-Hop since its creation.

This Drake beef is so corny on their part that I truly almost vomit everytime I hear Rosenturd... Luggz Master Flex... or Dweebro. I absolutely cannot stomach that station. In my existence... That station is in the same category as A.I.D.S... Herpes... Bubonic Plague... Jungle Juice.... Dallas Cowboys.

Fuck that cesspool...:thefinger:

The radio people are suppose to be the instigators, their job is to broadcast beefs and hype it up so that their stations can get ratings. When their are no beefs to broadcast their stations ratings drop.
