'We shouldn't be treated like this': Ryan Lochte whines about guard pulling out gun despite admitting he was drunk, belligerent and yelling at the man after destroying property
  • Ryan Lochte apologized to the people of Brazil and Rio appearing on Today Monday morning
  • 'They put on a great games, and my immature intoxicated behavior tarnished that,' said Lochte
  • Lochte also said he alone was responsible for the destruction caused at a Rio gas station, and not his teammates
  • The 32-year-old denied causing any damage inside the bathroom however, but said he was too drunk to remember if he kicked in the door
  • On Sunday, the US Olympic Committee said that further action would be taken against Lochte, Jimmy Feigen, Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger
  • Lochte also said that he will reimburse Feigen after he was forced to pay an $11,000 fine to the Brazilian government
  • Speedo ended their sponsorship of Lochte on Monday morning after over a decade, and donated $50,000 of his fee to the children of Brazil
Ryan Lochte spoke with Matt Lauer on Today Monday morning to give his third version of the events that happened at a Rio gas station last Sunday were he said he had been robbed at gunpoint.

The swimmer said that he was peeing in the bushes at the gas station when he decided to rip down a metal sign hanging on the side of the building.

When asked why he did this, Lochte replied: 'Yeah. I have no idea ... I was very intoxicated. I mean, it was immature, it was childish.'

Lochte said that after her pulled off that sign 'it made a big noise,' and he and his three fellow swimmers went to get back in their cab and drive off, at which point they were stopped by a guard.

The men were then taken out of the cab by the guard, who ordered the driver to stop and pulled out his weapon, something Lochte took issue with despite his actions.

'I was upset that we got pulled out of the taxi for something .. I mean, there's no reason for a gun to be pulled out for us,' said Lochte, who told Lauer that he is not someone that gets aggressive when he is angry.

'I was upset. There was no reason for us to be sitting down with a gun pointed to us for nothing we did.'

Lochte went on to say: 'I think when I got up and I started using some words, like this is BS, we shouldn't be treated like this ... that's when I got heated. The guy probably drawed his gun from this.'

Naw bro, I don't. They are in a foreign country, and in my book that's akin to being in someone's house. When your traveling to another country, you should treat it like you were visiting someones crib. If I went to your crib and destroyed a sign that was worth one dollar, it doesn't matter. You invited me into your crib and I disrespected you. Who am I to question how you handle someone disrespecting your property?

damn I seen destructive brothers in large groups, but usually because they were mad about something..

but these cacs are destructive just to be destructive..

they just be getting drunk and fuckin up hotel rooms for no reason whatsoever...

and they be just doing disgusting shit just to be doing it,

I heard this cac braggin to his boys the other day, at how many times he spit in the foot at a party he was attending and how he laughed at how many people were eating his

snotted spit.....

somehow this was hilariously funny to him

Michael Phelps set a (since broken) record as the oldest swimmer to win an individual gold medal in the history of the Olympics and he is only 31. Ryan Lochte is a year OLDER, so its not like he was planning to swim again in 2020. About his "lost" endorsements? ZERO FUCKS GIVEN. He and his mama and his numerous siblings (ALL of whom have arrest records!) have been entitled fame whores for FAR too long - can you imagine seeing them in Asia at the 2018 Olympics?

Why not? He was drunk, probably acting violent. He needed a gun out on him to make him sit his ass down somewhere.

And he is on some American shit. Americans do some dumb shit, and then have a ready-made excuse for the bullshit. The American way. It's not his fault, it's (insert excuse). :smh:

Peace,

al got in dude's azz though

That cac was riding HARD for that lying piece of shit. Couldn't use the word "lie" if his life depended upon it. These people are SO repulsive.

This is the kind of shit that makes an otherwise sane, reasonable and "non-threatening" cat like Al Roker come to work one day and stab a cracker in the throat. My man was stirring that drink to keep himself tethered to his sanity.

Some guy was defending him on TMZ Sports as well. And Jason Whitlock was riding for him on ESPN, saying it wasn't a "Tawana Brawley" case. No joke.

The hypocrisy, stupidity and ignorance of these people is just astounding. Sometimes it even catches a cat like Roker (who, I'm sure, has seen it all) by surprise.

And that fat, gluttonous Whitlock needs to be force fed until he can't eat anymore, and then have his stomach kicked out like in Seven.
