It happened...
I was in doubt but that Zod shank sealed the deal.
And it makes perfect sense that they would protect Elliot
remember at this point we don't KNOW what side deals mr.robot has made
AND Tyrell is STILL out there.
dark army breaking hypodermic needles off in LOYAL soldiers fingers
dark army soldiers doing suicide runs
we have NO idea where they end or where they begin.
But we KNOW this..
they ALWAYS protect their interests.
I thought that tyrell scene was a flashback.
the events played out as is (except the scene where he was having cement poured down his throat) elliot was just lying to us about the setting. So here is my question.... Did Leon actually knife those guys, is he really working for the white rose, or did the sexual assault actual happen and Elliot/Mr. Robot created the Illusion of Badass saving him to protect him from what was really happening.

I think Price is colluding with the Chinese Minister of State Security, some sort of profit-driven espionage/treason deal where he burns the US economy and makes them beholden to China, with himself as the middle-man. That would greatly empower the minister and basically make Price the combined savior and loan shark of the entire United States.
That there's this hacker element where the minister is Whiterose, leader of the Dark Army, is probably not something he knows or really cares about. I'm also pretty sure the minister is going to burn him the moment he's outlived his usefulness - Price is a sociopath and a businessman, but Whiterose is something else entirely, and I don't think Price will see it coming.
where?Uh Oh seems the fans are REALLY angry about recent events on the show.
where?
must be the minority, cuz it wasn't really a problem when i was reading the mr robot subreddit earlier...some reviewers and on reddit
didnt even read it all
diehards aint got no problem.
Lol nah don't apologize or explain it you did it just stand by it.
I'm ok with it but it does take away some of the appeal because I know millions of ppl are now at the point where they don't even really see a reason to keep watching if everything they built up and invested with is not what it is and they have to start over 8 episodes into the season lol
I can't blame them for feeling that way either.
Great episode I'll be in for the long haul but I can see ppl bailing if the show is never what it seems any of the time because they won't build connections with characters or ppl or situations because there's no point.
It's going to be something else anyway

if that's how they feel, then they weren't paying attention. the connections were real, the interactions with everyone not mr robot were real. the setting was the deception. which became more and more obvious as the season progressed.
I agree I can why they would be frustrated
but at the same time we always see shows from one particular character's perspective
Imagine if we had seen ALL of breaking bad from Skylar's POV? Or Mad Men completely from one of the secretaries?
to experience this world from an emotionally disturbed POV to me is thrilling.
Cause its almost like THE VIEWER is a character, an active participant in the events.
again he can't keep doing the twists...but I dont feel like this was a "twist"
This has happened numerous times already.
We didn't know if mr. robot was real, e corp vs. Evil Corp, Darlene sister girlfriend, did he fall out the window or get pushed, was Shayla REAL, what happened with Tyrell, and on and on...
We have NEVER really known what was real or fake until it was time.
So this to me was par for the course.
Cause even though I KNOW it was a fabrication?
I'm STILL not EXACTLY sure what the HELL happened! (and I watched that long ass episode TWICE in ONE sitting)
and i MUST watch next week
and to me?
that is great storytelling
and a great experience
Also clearly fbi agent is in the red army

some other thoughts tho..HOW THE FUCK DOES ANYTHING LINK UP IN THIS SEASON??
Fsociety and the darlene seem to be running on their own almost independent of elliot (how was he able to set up a hack for the FBI from prison?)
Joanna Wellick has absolutely NOTHING to do with anything at this point..her storyline is apropos to NOTHING thats happening big picture wise...If they are somehow able to bring her back to the fold I hope its not in some cheesy way tho I don't see how..
Angela is the most interesting and central figure of the show as far as the ecorp hack and revolution is concerned. She's positioning herself to be a player in a way thats more consequential than even darlenes moves. Its kinda hard to see her and elliot are a part of the same story at this point.
wait WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?
She's a little too good isn't she?
trust me
her spidey sense is well documented...and this show is WAY to smart for that.
isn't it?
but her with the dark army?
I just can't wrap my head around it...maybe in the near future but not YET.
I just thought they let her live cause whiterose LIKED her.
But now you got really questioning myself....
Why didn't she STOP Angela right then and there?
Why did she leave to go on vacation when the bureau JUST got hacked?
Why didn't she try to help the bankrupt deli owner?
if she's a part of the dark army then I'm checking out cuz that organization will be too big and ridiculous at that point. They won't be a hack group like anonymous they'll be more like some cartoonish illuminati with agents literally all over the place. And thats just a bit much...
Its one thing to question whats reality and whats not and the thing we say and do to get thru our day and to question control and who has it and who doesn't. But to have some all knowing far reaching organization with its hands all the cookie jars is a bridge too far.
i don't see it. they may try to recruit her though.Ray has been the best part of the show.
Also clearly fbi agent is in the red army
That would b a little out there...
and only serve to prove that Elliot is even more bat sh*t crazy paranoid schizophrenic than we already know.
However if the dark army RECRUITED her...
it would be a sick parallel...
cause Ecorp recruited Angela.
parallels are fine but at some point all of this has to go to some place.. I think theres a reason why stories like fight club usually STOP at the cataclysmic end because seeing what happens after may not be all that compelling.
The way theyve been building things up..the creators need to have a good conclusion to this show.
I don't believe NOTHING mr.robot says until its PROVEN.
ESPECIALLY now that he has aligned completely with Elliot.
cause Elliot been lying us to us for the entire season so far.
trust me

I'm guessing he was locked up for hacking the guy, who he stole the dog from, that his shrink was dating.
Spared HER.
Her back was turned when they came in and shot. Those dudes sprayed everyone BUT HER.
She said it herself. She was dead. Dude killed himself. The other guy. Killed himself. That sounds like instructions to me don't it to you?
And it's not about being smart it's about being interesting. Her backstory is of a person who could have easily just been Darlene. Her and Darlene are the same exact person with the same exact set of skills. That's how she knew there was a hack instantly cause... it's what she would've done.
Who better to watch everything than someone on the inside?
If the Minister of China is in on it why can't she?
She probably doesn't KNOW Minister is in on it, like nobody else does.
