KESHIA KNIGHT PULLIAM HUSBAND FILES FOR DIVORCE IN 1 WEEK

Keshia Knight Pulliam's pregnancy just got complicated -- her ex-NFL husband, Ed Hartwell, is divorcing her ... one week after she announced she's expecting.

Hartwell filed for the split Monday in Atlanta, and according to the docs Keshia is contesting his petition ... so we can safely assume she ain't happy.

"TheCosby Show" kid just revealed on July 18 she was pregnant, but Hartwell has some doubts he's the father. He told YBF.com -- which first reported the split -- "Right now, the only thing I want is a paternity test for the baby."

They only dated for 4 months before getting married in January of this year. Hartwell was previously married to Lisa Wu and appeared on 'Real Housewives of Atlanta.'

Bottom line -- short marriage with all the signs of a long, messy divorce. Keshia has 30 days to file her response.

4 months of dating and then proposal?

Maybe she was already pregnant when they started dating and he nows gets confirmation on how many weeks the baby is vs when they met and the actual courting time before they had sex.

You don't file for divorce over that, you wait and see. It has to be more to this story. If it's not the vasectomy then some agreement they had or she told him she couldn't have kids or something.

I say he cut his losses and bounce since there seems to be no deep love, on his side anyway.

It would be messed up if he is doing this because of a vasectomy that had become undone, but I would assume he would have had a doctor check for sperm before he filed for divorce.
