NBA Offseason 2016 - FreeAgency money dried up...Waiters gets $2.6 after OKC pulled $6+ offer...

You're right. That's why I've always been a fan of Gilbert. Gilbert is making himself a lot of money elsewhere and seems to look at the team as a long-term hold. Gilbert is the one who fucked it up for other owners knowing he'd pay the penalties($50 millions). :money:Few owners will do that. They still are talking small market size when that doesn't even matter these days.

Ticket sales go up for winners. More television. More jerseys sold. The Spurs kept the small market myth alive simply because they are a fucking boring product. If Lebron were in SAS, people would have stopped that market size talk years ago. Spurs shit would be every fucking where.

Owners are going to have to put up or shut up. Cheap owners will just be farm systems for owners who have true superstars and need pieces.
:yes:...I would like to see no cap and just let them mofos fight it out; just like in baseball; shit would be great:giggle:

So with the news breaking that the cap will be lowered than expected. Seems like some paycuts will have to be taken on the Warriors side next season between Curry, Durant, and Iggy. If someone has to take the pay cut it will probably be Iggy or he'll bounce. Curry has been underpaid for too long. Durant's ego ain't going to do it.

LeBron taking his time resigning. Probably thinking of how to counter the Warriors move and recruit a replacement for Love.

That's crazy because Miami is not winning a title over the next 3-4 years anyway. You think all of this was worth losing your franchise's biggest player. All over 7M man. The reputation of the franchise is gone over 7M and respecting Wade. Yall can't sell that "we're family and take care of our own" shit anymore..and that's the second thing the heat were known for after Wade. Would be different is wade was washed, but he actually had a good season.
The Heat actually had no choice but to move Wade. Whiteside bird rights plus Bosh dead salary and no draft picks really did Wade in. Plus Pat was done with Wade for personal reasons

that's it. the heat are a family is what's been sold.
wade must've been the black sheep
Pat was done with Wade and pretty much washed his hands of him. Pat did not meet with Wade last season at all and Micky did all of the contract work.

Pat did not meet with Wade either this year. Never spoke with him. Pat is old school and he just never got over how Lebron camp disrespected him.

Pat always does exit interviews right after the season with each player. Lebron skipped out on it and would not return any of Pat's phone calls or text messages.

When LeBron and his camp finally granted Pat a chance to talk they (Lebrons friends) were watching TV and playing Video games and Pat really felt disrespected because he had to compete with all of that for Lebrons attention. Then Pat found out Wade knew and he did not like how Wade acted like nothing was wrong.

From point Micky delt with Wade as Pat was done

Mo Speights signing with the Clippers, thats a great pickup for them. The Warriors losing a lot of size.

no we're not. speights is a scorer only not a defender in the paint at all.
signed a big man drafted a 7 footer have another big man that hopefully will be the real deal like he was on track to be. the size is basically the same as it was.

Dallas shooting had me busy last night

From what I've seen and read Love ain't going no where. Boston had a sweet offer on draft night and they didn't love him. Don't think it's the replacement just sign last...maybe signing what he have to take to make something work.

Actually the Lower the cap goes the better it is for Golden State.

Yeah Seem like the Warriors decided to move in a different direction

There are only 3 roster spots left. I would like for them to select another wing and a big (defensive rebounder)

YOU would like for them? Shouldn't YOU be worried about the Heat? You Heat fans have became amusement since Lebron left. :smh:

Cap protections mean nothing next year because the players or owners can opt out of this cba..and we know the players opting out..this is just writers wasting time

Gsw needs rebounding help, especially now... Rodman types... I know he's not around but guys that are not selfish and want to defend & rebound the rock
I actually think they have improved in their rebounding with kd and zaza..i like how he rebounds don't like how he plays defense though....

I don't know what to think of the Heat. Josh Richardson, Winslow, Briante and Whiteside are very good and extremely athletic. They will wreck havoc on the defensive side of the ball.

They have shown sparks and put up really good offensive numbers. I guess the big question mark is can they handle being the man. Either we over achieve and be a 50 win team or settle in at around a 41 - 41 squad. Or we may just be a 20 win team. Realistically it will probably be a long season for my Heat.

At least I have Golden State to look forward to. So the Lebron hate will continue..lol But I think after the trade deadline in December Wade is coming to the Cavs
