Philando Castile was shot 4 times by police while reaching for his requsted ID and died.

Police prolly digging thru all of his history to find something terrible they can release about him.
oh damn......he got suspended from school in 7th grade and got a -D on a test.
FUCK THE POLICE!

My issue with what she's doing is certain times I hate that she is saying stuff that these mofo's will try to use against her like when she was in the police car and said they had a lil weed, then at the press conf sounded like she is saying that he said he had a gun and never said he was licensed to carry, she screamed it out same time, then the shots happened.

They will use that and say the officer was justified in the shooting.

These mofo's wigs need to be peeled back, Jake's used to be shook hard back when I was a kid in Brooklyn, today they are the thugs that bully people. it's disgusting...

We need them more then they need us.

We stop spending we would die not enough vegetables and free fruit growing to sustain us

You're being sarcastic....but your insecurities are entertaining...so I'll bite.

Who needs who......
When u dig deep youll realize that we all need each other.

But for fun.....
The Elites of the World need everybody on the grass roots to go along with bs (racial, religious etc) so they can stay in power.

As for Black folks (this excludes u...lol), we actually don't need white folks to survive, but some of us WILLINGLY put ourselves in positions of need. One being the need for others to provide us with food. But then again....the mass majority of America can't grow its own food and depends on rich people (owners of grocery stores) to feed them.

This has more so to do with bs comfort zones. Your people have bs comfort zones as well. E.g. White privilege. When the banks fucked over everyone.....folks got evicted .....lost jobs....and White privilege couldn't save you all.....you all went into your tent cities and started killing yourselves.

Mexicans have their depedant comfort zones as well. ...as well as other immigrants that come here. Embracing bs comfort zones is what Americans like to do...

The comfort of having Police serve ALL the people. How is that working out?

White folks ain't gonna do a damn thing. Let some black police officers start shooting unarmed white guys in the street at the same rate. Let's see what happens with that. It's a silent war family. The police is just the most visible of the war. But we are oppressed whether its law, education, employment, health, community programs and funding, all of these things on the outside appear to non-violent, but the results actually lead to violent consequences, each one of them.

This is some sad shit. Got my eyes wattery...

Philando Castile, Minnesota man killed by police during traffic stop, was a 'sweet, gentle spirit' who avoided trouble, family and colleagues say

Before Philando Castile was killed by police during a traffic stop, he woke up every weekday morning to prepare and serve food to over 500 students at a Montessori school in Saint Paul, Minn and was known to greet coworkers "with a smile and hug."

“He had a sweet, gentle spirit and he loved kids and he was a great employee,” Katherine Holmquist-Burks, the principal at the J.J. Hill Montessori School where she hired Castile to be a Cafeteria Supervisor, told the Daily News.

“He was one of the nicest people I’ve hired probably,” she said.

Castile, 32, is known to the world now as the black man who was shot four times by a St. Anthony's police officer after getting pulled over for a broken tail light in the Saint Paul suburb of Falcon Heights, Minn.

The cafeterian is seen slumped over and bleeding in the driver's seat in a shocking live stream video taken by his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, who started filming after shots were fired. The video sparked outrage over yet another police-involved shooting, merely a day after another black man, Alton Sterling, was pinned down and shot by cops in Baton Rouge, La.

His family and co-workers remember Castile as a surrogate father who preferred to stay home and play video games rather than go out to bars and as someone who held a steady job for 14 years and was planning for his future.

Castile graduated from Central High School in 2001 and worked in cafeterias in the Saint Paul Public School system since 2002, when he was 19-years-old. He excelled at his job and was promoted to a supervisor position two years ago, according to a statement from the school system.

"Colleagues describe him as a team player who maintained great relationships with staff and students alike. He had a cheerful disposition and his colleagues enjoyed working with him. He was quick to greet former coworkers with a smile and a hug," the statement read.

Castile was also known for his generosity to kids and never let students skip lunch, even if they didn’t have any money in their lunch fund, Holmquist-Burks said.

“Some supervisors, they will just say they (the kids) have to have a peanut butter sandwich. He would let them have the lunch and worry about the money later,” she said.

“That’s what I admire about him most,” she said, adding that she has struggled with how to tell the kids why Castile won't be coming back to the school.

“I feel like this was such a horrible injustice he was killed. He was at the prime of his life and he had a good career. He did a great job.”

Philando Castile shooting stirs social media outrage

Castile raised his girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter —who was in the back seat of the car when he was killed — as his own, according to Reynolds.

“My daughter will forever be scarred by what the police of Falcon Heights did to us,” Reynolds screamed in an impromptu Facebook Live announcement the day following Castile’s death.

Aside from a laundry list of traffic violations, records show Castile did not have a criminal record.

Family said Castile was a licensed gun owner who had obtained a concealed carry permit with his sister, Alysza Castile.

According to his girlfriend's account of the shooting, Castile followed proper protocol and told police during the traffic stop that he had a gun in the car. The unidentified cop started firing when Castile reached for his license and registration from his pocket, she says in the viral video.

"My nephew has a (concealed carry) permit, and still got killed for carrying a gun ... this needs to stop. This happens so often,” Clarence Castile, his uncle, told CNN.

Castile’s family reiterated colleagues’ descriptions of him as a “laid back” man who plays by the book.

"Everybody that knows my son knows that he is a laid back, quiet individual that works hard every day, pays taxes and comes home and plays video games. That's it," his mother, Valerie Castile, told CNN.

"He's not a gang banger. He's not a thug. He's very respectable. And I know he didn't antagonize that officer in any way to make him feel like his life was threatened," she said.

The last time Clarence Castile spoke with his nephew was on Mother’s Day, when the two discussed setting up a nest egg for when he retires from his job as a school cafeterian, he said.

“We all know my nephew was a good kid and we want justice as well as relief.”

This makes my heart heavy. :smh:

Murder is against the law... there's no law to be passed for this. The question is, will the DA bring the murderer up on charges, and will a jury convict. Exactly what law could any president pass to prevent murderers from murdering?

If that faggot Obama can pass legislation for gays, illegals(law breakers), transgenders, Latinos, but avoids unarmed blacks getting gunned down everytime. It's a damn epidemic out here, man! You niggaz talk about trump but under Obama niggaz are getting genocided out here. Obama does nothing about this.

They cuffed her like she's a criminal..all that in front of her four year old daughter.. I was in the other thread last night posting my thoughts on the brother that was executed in Baton Rouge.. I fell asleep and woke up to another thread about another brotha being shot up by the evil barbaric police..the same story goes.. police are killing black men for no fucking reason.. that means I should be in fear of my life because I can be doing absolutely nothing wrong or illegal and still be killed by the police that claim they protect and serve..this is beyond scary if you're black..being black is enough reason to be killed by the police and then they we will get off with little to no jail time.

Facebook says a 'glitch' briefly deleted Falcon Heights video
https://www.engadget.com/2016/07/07/facebook-glitch-falcon-heights-shooting-video/

A Facebook Live video capturing the aftermath of a fatal police shooting briefly disappeared from Facebook after going viral on Wednesday night, and the social networking site has apologized, blaming the down time on a bug in the system.

"We're very sorry that the video was temporarily inaccessible," a Facebook spokesperson told TechCrunch. "It was down due to a technical glitch and restored as soon as we were able to investigate."

The video is now available again on Facebook, though it carries a warning reading, "Graphic video: Videos that contain graphic content can shock, offend and upset. Are you sure you want to see this?"

Diamond Reynolds began the Facebook Live stream directly after she says her boyfriend, Philando Castile, 32, was shot at least four times by a police officer in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. The video shows Reynolds and Castile, who are both black, in their car, with a white police officer pointing a gun through the driver-side window. Castile is slumped over in the driver's seat, covered in blood. Reynolds' 4-year-old daughter is in the back seat. Castile died from his injuries.

In the video, Reynolds explains that she and Castile were pulled over for a broken taillight. She says Castile told the officer he had a concealed carry permit and a firearm on him, but when he moved to get his wallet from his pocket, the officer opened fire.

The fatal shooting comes one day after Anton Sterling, a 37-year-old black man, was wrestled to the ground and shot dead by white police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with the scuffle and aftermath captured on camera. Video of the Sterling shooting went viral as well. Support for the victims' families and outrage has flooded social media, fueling the ongoing#BlackLivesMatter movement across the United States.
Reynolds' Facebook stream is another example of the power that live video can wield.

Statement from Saint Paul Public Schools about Philando Castile
Saint Paul Public Schools and its staff grieve the tragic death of a former student and current employee, Philando Castile.

He graduated from Central High School in 2001 and had worked for Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) since he was 19 years old, beginning in 2002, in the Nutrition Services Department.

Mr. Castile was promoted to a supervisory position two years ago and was currently working in one of our schools during the summer term.

Colleagues describe him as a team player who maintained great relationships with staff and students alike. He had a cheerful disposition and his colleagues enjoyed working with him. He was quick to greet former coworkers with a smile and hug.

One coworker said, “Kids loved him. He was smart, over-qualified. He was quiet, respectful, and kind. I knew him as warm and funny; he called me his 'wing man.' He wore a shirt and tie to his supervisor interview and said his goal was to one day 'sit on the other side of this table.’”

Those who worked with him daily said he will be greatly missed.

"I am deeply sorry for his family and for their loss. He's worked in SPPS for many years and he graduated from our district, so he was one of our own," said SPPS Superintendent Valeria Silva.

Grief counselors will be available for staff and students as needed or requested.

The Saint Paul Public Schools family extends its deepest sympathy to Mr. Castile's family and loved ones.

nothing but hate for the cops and law enforcement............... i would never call 911 for assitance for a cop... fuck them and the ground they stand on thats why i got my shit cocked and loaded... try me

someone will make up a reason for him getting shot. its going to be someone here too. they're going to say he should have did this or that and if he has a license to carry he still should have did this or that properly in order to not get fucking shot 4 times by a pussy ass police officer.

the train is never late.
Yep and u know who it is @RoadRage :smh::smh:

Traffic violations! They can't find anything else so they keep mentioning speeding tickets and shit :smh:

Traffic violations aren't shit. They got pulled over for a busted tail light, but the girlfriend said nothing was wrong with the tail light. The first thing should should have done when the situation cooled was to a full 360 around the car showing all lights working, and then the question has to be asked "what exactly were they pulled over for?"

I go on Facebook only to look at my wife's profile, because I like to see the pics she posts of our kids. And what do I see while I'm on there? The same people constantly saying "oh we need to pray" or "only the blood of Jesus can save us" and I just wanna type mutherfucker has Jesus saved our asses yet?

I agree with the unity of people with back skin but it should not include hispanics, asians, middle eastern people, etc..

They are NOT allies in this "struggle." They also treat us like shit and its evidentt with the killing of Castile by the Chinese officer... We shoudn't be welcoming them here with open arms because at the end of the day they dont respect us... Obama is wrong on this..

religion, education, professional status, or nationality still separates us
yet when stopped
the only united thing we have is
Color

we aint united-baptist disagree with muslims, africans and african americans don't see eye to eye, lets not even bring in the island folks and they separation..
yet while we squabbling in separation
we dying in unity...

wake up folks

Obama takes a greater stand on gays being discriminated on than on black being shot by cops.

I can agree on this. He lights up the white house with the gay flag colors.

He's also quick to push for gun control when ever there is a mass shooting. What about police control when it comes to them killing black people?

He used executive action to try an legallize millions of Illegal Mexicans and Im glad the court has blocked it so far.

I voted for Obama, gave over $500 of my hard earned money to his campaigns between 2008 and 2012. I wanted him to be good but he's let us down...

Traffic violations aren't shit."

That's what I'm saying. The media couldn't find anything else on him so they're reporting that he's had fucking traffic violations. That's like saying "we have a picture of him drinking a beer while in college".. da fuck.. damn near everyone you know has had a traffic violation.
