Pretty much. You had me at raped a kid. I really don't care what happens to you after that.So a guy rapes a kid, does his time, gets out, and gets shot by a police officer. You're more worried about the rape?

If that's how you apply your logic, that's on you.Pretty much. You had me at raped a kid. I really don't care what happens to you after that.
Sterling was a registered sex offender, after a 2000 conviction for carnal knowledge of a juvenile, records show. The circumstances of the case were not immediately clear. Records say he was released for his offense in October 2004.
He was previously arrested for aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, unauthorized entry and domestic abuse battery, records show. In 2009, he was sentenced to five years in prison for marijuana possession and for carrying an illegal weapon with a controlled dangerous substance.
Family members said he was on probation when he died and would not have been allowed to carry a gun.
Not to derail the thread, but it's not meant to be logical. That's just my gut reaction. Disgust. My initial impression of the sex charge was worse than it actually is, which is a strange relief, but a relief nonetheless. And the brother's personal history is as germane to the discussion as the police officer's personal history, both in and out of uniform. If that's how you apply your logic, that's on you.

I agree.A man was murdered.
You should be ashamed of yourself bro. On many levels. So, it turns out the pedo charge is for when he got a 14 year old pregnant when he was around 19-20. Not as bad as I initially thought. I'll give him a pass. R.I.P. brotha.
I completely understand that Police walk into some crazy situations in which a person is armed to the teeth
but they had him pinned and it does look like he resisted a bit but i believe the cop panicked and took his
gun out and then just shooting him 3 to 5 times i cant go along with that
Beyond excessive IMO
RIP Alton Sterling
White people dont care. They will never care.DL Hughley is on CNN giving a real and touching perspective on the immorality of whites who sit by idly as these injustices and murders take place.
When the officer took his gun out tho, it wasn't because there was a threat to the officers, it was to threaten Alton with being shot if he didn't stop moving.
And thats essentially the very point he was making..White people dont care. They will never care.
Thats the difference...When the officer took his gun out tho, it wasn't because there was a threat to the officers, it was to threaten Alton with being shot if he didn't stop moving.
So why go on their network and waste words? And thats essentially the very point he was making..
If there are facts that indicate that the police officers involved have a history of abuse/affiliations with extremist groups/prior disciplinary history I would think that would be up for discussion and review. Just as if there were facts that indicated the deceased was a decorated war vet with a Bachelor's from Howard and a Master's from Harvard. Everything should be scrutinized and examined. It was bullshit searching for his past. You deal with the facts of the case, not probing through someone's history in some bigoted attempt to justify the murder.
Black is black to these motherfuckers. You could have committed 100 crimes, or a have clear record and a hundred degrees, and it wouldn't matter to them.
I have an extremely difficult time believing someone black is looking for justification for the murder in the victims past. Observing the footage to see if the murder was in any way justifiable is one thing, because thats dealing with the facts of the incident.
Some of you motherfuckers, man.
I gave him a pass. You should be ashamed of yourself bro. On many levels.
He pulled out his gun. He had all intentions of using it.Amazing, you can see both his hands... the cop holding his right hand...
His left hand is on the officers ankle
There is no reason to have shot this man
Why isn't the news pointing this out?
Why are they speaking about the gun and not the actual crime?
Meanwhile guys that look like THIS guy get to LIVE...but then I guess in THIS case these officers didn't fear for their lives...dude was just a little crazy..chasing after them while hitting them..making advanced lunges with intent on making contact with officers...he might have even made an attempt at taking the officers gun..yeah im sure that's what he was trying to do from the way it looked.. didn't we all see that? CLEARLY this was a case to shoot this guy at LEAST 8 or 9 times..cuz it took 8 shoots in the back to bring down a blackman fleeing from the cops so if an enraged whiteman is running towards the cops reaching for his weapon it would prolly take oh I guess a minimum of say about 15-20 shots..but maybe this was in fact a TRAINING video on how to subdue someone when NOT in fear of ones live.Wonder what the difference is...
The cop?He pulled out his gun. He had all intentions of using it.
Yep. Honestly, he was dead when they were on top of him. I'm confused as to why they shot him six times as they sat on him. And they're going to get away with this. The law says they're justified. There's nothing we can do. That's what's confusing. The cop?
So someone on another board is saying there is a new video showing that Sterling pulled his gun and randomly started shooting. Can anyone here verify that? I haven't seen any of the videos...don't want to see a mofo getting killed.

And that's the reason why i say it's not the cops; it's the people behind them..its the justice system that allows this shit to continously happen!!!!!!Yep.
