NBA Offseason 2016 - FreeAgency money dried up...Waiters gets $2.6 after OKC pulled $6+ offer...

paying him 95 million means he's just as valuable as draymond green is to this team and way more valuable than klay who makes 70 million
that's not the message i would prefer for harrison barnes.
now if we went back to back? id be like fuck it.
Cubes made the warriors decision easy for them. They should thank him. You HAVE to let Barnes walk. Have to. Jeff Green could have replaced him for 3years $35mill or 4 years $50 if he wasnt intent on doing a one year gamble.

The hangover from this summers drunken spending is gonna be very interesting to watch 3/4years from now.

Owners gonna be crying for another lockout because their GMs are idiots. And the superstars needs to be negotiating to kill the max contract. They're getting "played".

Yep. And you can't ask players for discounts when you're maxing out Barnes. all them muthafuckas gonna be kind of pissed if he gets maxed and if that muthafucka showed up in just one of the final 3 games, yall win back to back.

read an article that brought that up...if barnes being the highest paid player on the team could affect "chemistry"

true indeed but as always i don't make the decisions so im wait and see. i would like to thank cuban for pulling the trigger. there are other guys out there who can do what barnes does. usually that's not something you say but its true. try to stop the wing player and shoot wide open shots. he don't handle the ball set nobody up or nothing he just catch and shoot in this system.

id take jeff green in a heartbeat too i like his game and he'd probably flourish with us because all he have to do is be athletic

Like i said the other day... I wouldnt be surprised if the players are the ones to initiate a lockout this go round. Elite players are getting hosed. When you have a Derozen getting the same deal Kevin Durant will get, thats problematic. The max contract is essentially a double tax... Its redundant as fuck on a league that already has a fucking salary cap. Plus, they have that "36 rule" bullshit in place that further cripples elite players once they hit age 31 or 32.

I can see the players association giving a point or two back on basketball revenue to eliminate the max bullshit... its currently at a 50/50 split. Looking forward to seeing how Michele Roberts handles this all.

Man... there isn't a way it wouldn't. They're all humans just like us. No one is going to be alright with a dude that would come off the bench on some of the better teams in the NBA being the teams' highest paid player...especially after he shit the bed in the finals...nigga went like 5-37 over the last 3 games..

right that's what i mean. it was so close especially in game 7 all a role player has to do is just score 15
i don't expect the warriors to short change any of the core though. they maxed draymond out no question wasn't even an argument.
they moving into that new stadium steph is going to get whatever the market says no matter if its 200m or not won't be no negotiations going on. so im not too worried about THAT aspect of it all.
but if barnes makes 95 million barbosa should be making 85 cause that nigga showed up as much as klay and draymond did.

yup those are the losers. the elite. there should be a order to this shit and there isn't. their max isn't clearly better than someone else max.

Yeah man. The system is fucked up. That can't continue long-term. Mike Conley about to make more money than everybody.. Mike. Conley. Conley about to make double the amount of Wade.. got that mufucka talking about playing for the Bucks..lmbao

all these no name dudes gonna just be holding on its crazy lol. career bums are super set for life now.
This shit is incredible to watch man.

And thats another thing that will be realized during the hangover... How giving marginal talent, and fringe NBA players generational compensation removes the incentive to improve ones craft. Gonna be a high turnover rate my man... which is terrible from a promotional aspect in a league that sells stars and individuals as much as it does the actual product.

Man there are gonna be grad school courses in business and economics taught on this shit in the next decade.

yea its gonna be let me just be good enough to be on a roster and ill get paid. fuck working hard to be elite. let me toss out 9 points and 3 boards and i can get a high 8 figure salary

the dude from toronto wasn't even a starter the person in front of him got hurt and he showed out for a series or two and he got cashed out. that's some ncaa shit where you go on a run and then you get drafted lol

Fuck that! I'm all for these no-name dudes getting paid. Fuck the NBA owners. They make more than enough dough off of the players. Just get ready for them to start copping poverty pleas in two years.

The only sad thing with the money flowing, you're going to have even more players going broke. Player making league minimum, and then getting guaranteed 8-figure contract. Recipe for 30 for 30, Broke Pt. 2.

Bills killin Pat

Rightfully so tho

How they not trying to pay Wade county? He brought the ship to Miami in 06

I kid when I talk about the Nets. I actually like our moves and I think we got a few more to make around July 7 when RFA offer sheets are set to match.

I could easily say on the pessimistic side:

Sixers got talent but are still raw and parts don't match.

Knicks are loaded starting wise but with 3 mil left in space, lack an adequate bench which is quite significant for such an injury prone starting lineup.

Boston has Horford but how big will his impact really be? Still don't have a guy who needs to be doubled and gets them an easy shot .

Raps only lose Biyombo but make no improvements besides bringing back the inconsistent Derozan.

Nets bring in players but none are starters. Shit is bleak when your banking on Jamal Crawford to play sign and get significant minutes

Half full/half empty scenario.

Shit wide open to me. I like the Celtics chances the best because of their defense but all of the team are mysteries. Raptors really dropped the ball this offseason. Biyombo is replacable but he looked legit with their center went down.

Knicks have the most potential but we've said this t ime and time again. Show and prove now. I just think Knicks are going to be that team that looks good on paper but underacehive. There is one every year. But Phil doing the best he can under the circumstances.

Yeah gonna take at least 2 years for my Sixers to make some serious noise. I'm thinking 29-32 wins this year. Big improvement from 10 last year.

Y'all still got y'all picks right? I wish I was in y'all spot. I'd be ok with being ASS for another year or two. Its the right move. PEople are impatient but the right move for y'all is to suck again. Let the young guys develop. Like the Celtics for instance. They got good too fast. They should've been ASS for one more year and they would've had two top 5 picks in this draft. Could've kept them or had some ammunition to get Jimmy Butler.

I will say this though about the Wizards. We do have a coach, Scott Brookes, who can develop some of young players, mainly Otto, Walls, and Beal. We never had that and I think that is what the Wizards are betting on. Shore up the front court with the two bigs we signed and it's not looking too bad.

Otto needs to make a big jump as well. I'm not sure of his ceiling but at his draft position he needs to be another solid star alongside Beal and Walls. You may get that improvement from within if he progresses or keeps on anyway.

Wade the only one on the Heat that always has to fight for every dollar... but once you start giving discounts, mufuckas don't want to pay full price.

Wade did the right thing in order to get lebron and bosh to come he was being a good gm then im not mad at him for that.
after though? no. i want all my duckets.
riley probably just walks in like the dude from office space
office-space.jpg

yea wade im gonna need you to go ahead and only get 10 million a year, yea i know everyone else makes 25 but we've only got 10 for you ok bye
