Vet minimum gotta be what $10 million yearly with league minimum $3 mill

So how much is Wade gonna get paid? Although he is getting older he is still better than all the bums that signed 100+ mill contracts today.

Close to that saw teams that talking to him throwing $20 a year out there....while Pat probably want/asking him to take $15

Sources: Tyronn Lue, Cleveland Cavaliers working on contract extension
CLEVELAND, Ohio. – Head coach Tyronn Lue and the Cleveland Cavaliers have begun conversations on negotiating a contract extension, league sources informed cleveland.com.

Both sides are confident that a pact can be reached relatively soon.

Lue, 39, never signed a new deal when he took over for the fired David Blatt in January, He was working under a four-year, $6.5 million deal as Blatt's top assistant, and essentially bet on himself by not signing the three year, $9.5 million deal etched out for him to be the head coach by the team and his representatives.

Assistant coach Larry Drew had a team option for the 2016-17 that was picked up recently, league sources revealed to cleveland.com.

Lue's maneuver, first reported in April by ESPN.com, paid off -- Lue guided the Cavs to their first championship. LeBron James endorsed him as the "greatest coach in the world." Recently, the Toronto Raptors, whom Lue and the Cavs bounced from the Eastern finals, gave coach Dwane Casey a new three-year, $18 million deal.

Lue stands to make far above Casey's annual $6 million salary. The league's highest-paid coaches are San Antonio's Gregg Popovich (five years, $55 million), and Lue's old boss, Clippers coach Doc Rivers (five years, $50 million). The Wizards are paying Scott Brooks $35 million over five years, as is Dallas with Rick Carlisle.

While awaiting the finalization of a lucrative pact, Lue is currently in his hometown of Mexico, Missouri this weekend for a parade in his honor. The catch, if there is one, is that Lue technically already has a contract -- the one he signed as Blatt's top assistant -- so there may not be urgency to get his new deal done before, say, the Cavs' player free agents are signed.

James is a free agent, though he has said he's returning to the Cavs, as is J.R. Smith. Cleveland apparently lost free agent center Timofey Mozgov to the Lakers for four years and $64 million, and Milwaukee agreed on an offer sheet for four years and $39 million with restricted free agent Matthew Dellavedova that the Cavs may not match.

The first day free-agent players can sign with teams is July 7. Las Vegas Summer League begins July 8, and there remains a possibility that Lue could be overseeing his summer squad at that time without a deal in place.

They can't offer it if they don't have it to offer.

Gotta move some players first

Miami needs to cut the bullshit and give Wade his money already.. I cant imagine a scenario where there isnt atleast three teams willing to give him $18-$20 a year at this point.

No. Thats not what you said... And i told you then, your entire premise was stupid, the his 15 game run was an outlier, and thoroughly broke down why... Yet you kept saying stupid shit...even compared him to Harden and others...

Man the fuck up for once and move on.. before i post the shit and again expose you for the bleeding imbecile you are.

You were wrong. Period.

Shut your old senile ass up. I know what the hell I said. You don't even remember to take your medication let alone some shit I said 3 years ago old Fart.

We have had him since he was drafted and last year was the first time that was significantly injured. I'm fine with these numbers, especially since the cap is supposed to go up again.
Its stupid man......its just dumb. I get you a fan but its dumb. I said it was dumb when the Mavs gave Parsons 16 million a year. All he did was stay hurt. You niggas gave him 97 million for 4. The NBA is going down the drain.......

Man you are going to have to get use to these numbers... See above.. Dwights making 23.50 million for just three years.

Dwight is worth that in this market. He actually has made some All NBA Teams and some All Star games....what in the hell has Parsons and Conley done other than play above their heads somewhat at times.

Depends on what one likes..also how are we defining best? Is that based on players or money or watchable?etc etc

Well its personal preference but being its the most profitable sport in the United States i'd say its the best. As far as product as well. But I don't watch Golf or Soccer so maybe those are more exciting?

I sure hope they're superior, but neither plays full seasons. Fuck being a superstar, neither is a star.

A 16 mil a year deal isn't bad in this new NBA. It's a tradeable contract.

Kanter didn't even start and only played half the game.

Y'all would've did better getting Kanter if he's available. Someone will get him and have a solid player on their hands.

So what is the vet. minimum now? Is it still like 1.5 million? Who the fuck gonna take that when niggas getting 16 million a year?
