Joe Budden - Making A Murderer Pt. 1 (Drake & Meek Mill Diss)

Could you imagine if this is Joey's "Charged Up", with his "Back 2 Back" cued up ready to drop. Nobody was really feeling Charged Up and didn't expect much from the battle after it dropped, but B2B changed everything.

Hopefully since Joey has a mixed bag with this one his B2B will set everybody straight.

As far as responses. I doubt anybody will respond right now. It's just going to be a career full of subliminals from everybody.

Bruh that will only work for Drake because no one expected him to respond after getting called out for no writing his rhymes.. A potential career ending allegation... Meek was basically trying to fuck up another man's money... So yeah Drake had no choice..

This shit with Joey is like "where this nigga come from" lmaoo

I don't know Homie. This diss ain't come outta nowhere. Drake just dissed him and Diddy. He had to be expecting some kinda clapback. People keep, acting like this track came outta thin air,

Think about it no one listening to that drake track even realized he took a jab at Budden.. He have him what? One line? That track was exclusively towards puff..

So if drake have joe one line that honestly irrelevant then why Budden feel he needed to make a 6 min track? Especially after he told drake he ain't have no probs with him mess with Tahira? Joe talkin bout of both sides of his jums lol

Seems like Drizzy dick riders are comin up w/ every excuse they can as to why the track aint hot.

If Tyson came and knocked out the current champ wuld u say he only did it for attention?? He's a fuckin fighter!!!

Most cats admittedly ddnt even listen to the whole track and still gave a review. Millenials are shallow as fuck. I gotta fig out a way to capitalize on yalls ignorance.

Even if it did come outta nowhere.....if u a rapper then rap! Avenge ur Throne!!

I'm not a drake fan in the least. However, I NEVER want to hear this Joe Budden song again. That shit was horrible. He sounds like he is trying too hard. There is a reason he is a podcaster now.

Is it that bad, I haven't listen to it yet

Ok so way do an entire 6 min track of he had no probs with it? I don't get it

Because Drake was clowning him for doing naking the call. Then there is an alleged Pump it Up line made by Drake in a new song with French. It's seems like Drake is running around taking liberties with Joey and Budden is trying to put him back under manners.

Killed him.

But this was just the set up in hopes that he takes the bait.. But in case he doesnt he wanted to make sure he had enough material and content in the song to stand on its own..

Definitely too long for todays listening audience tho.. The days of the 6 minute diss track with mediocre beat left with the advent of social media platforms and short attention spans they promote. He could have shaved a good minute plus easy without all the redundant r&b jabs.

^^^

all I'm saying

He didn't KO drake though.
Which leaves it wide open for drake to really hit him up and hurt him.
That's the big risk joe took by not destroying him.
You already know the masses will be on drakes side no matter how he responds.
I hope joe has some real dirt to come back with, unfortunately if drake brings some heat most folks won't care how joe responds at that point.
I think Joe should've just crushed him from jump.

but does drake have to even respond to dude; who is Joe and where is his career going for drake to destroy it??

Nah.. disagree. It was a bait track. Dude is FAR more calculated than that. Like i said earlier, he made it weak enough to get a response but strong enough to get his point across in the event it gets no response. And for cats who really are into lyrics, he did KO him.

First round TKO?

GTFOH
He spit hotter bars than Drake did on Back2Back. Those "world tour or your girl's tour" and "prenup" lines were cool, but cats were calling the battle for Drake before Meek even replied. If Back2Back was a first round TKO, this joint damn sure is (lyrically). Back2Back just had a better beat, but this isn't a beat battle. It's a battle of bars.

Let's put it this way

He BETTER be

After the meek fiasco he got no excuses

But long time fans know all too well

This Joe we talking about

Would you be REALLY surprised if he fumbled this?

Really?

Don't forget that battle rap bullsh*t.

i wish we could hear the lyrics without trying to decipher is a rasta is talking and sirens and horns and shit in the background and going down note to try and put a change of mood into the beat.

let's get some fucking drums a bass and 1 sound that's hardcore and rip the shit joey.

beats help you listen to those bars.
back to back isn't a good beat overall. its a good beat because it was simple. all you do is catch the rhythm and the main thing you hear is drake. its a good battle beat.

Exactly. That's what I'm saying, Back2Back had a better beat for its purpose.

That's where Meek fucked up. He should've spit over a beat like W&P in the first place....

What did you think of Meek's War Pain beat?

soul trumps a lot of shit. and the soul sample just enhanced his voice. you can listen to that song without even trying to listen to it and by song i mean his lyrics.
and i don't even like how meek mill sounds when he raps. but compare how easy it is to listen to compared to the siren laced song joe chose. and its no contest lyrically budden made the best song out of all of them lyrically.

'

Yeah. Don't know why Meek didn't do THAT when the 'beef' was hot.

But, yeah .... thought that shit was hot. Shit, I still listen to it once a week, and like you, I'm not even a fan of Meek Mill .... but it worked.
