Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

and even then there's no way in hell he'd have stood by and let them burn that little girl. that's why Stannis sent him off on a bogus mission.
That's my point--Davos had to know why he was being sent off. He knew Stannis and Melisandre were desperate, and he knew they needed and were willing to use royal blood for sacrifice (Gendry). If I recall correctly, Davos practically begged Stannis to let him take Shireen to Castle Black with him.

And she knows it too. You know how bad he hates the name Kingslayer... he didn't want to have to do it, but SHE knows he will do it for what he sees as a good reason. I feel like she also knows she's not gonna be able to hold on to power, she's just gonna burn the city to the ground since she can't have it her way and feels like the world has taken her children from her.

just got done watching for a 2nd time. Amazing.
Lady Mormont damn she stole the show (she woulda made a great wife for Rick ).
Cerci man that bitch is the devil incarnate. I never saw that master plan of using the dragons fire on basically everyone. We all but counted her out last week but she pretty much won the game for now at least. The R+L = J theory was right. I'll be damn if I ain't get teary eyed seeing Jon proclaimed King of the North.
The nuances and subtleties are what make this show great. The god father like Cersi hit in the beginning, the looks between Cersi and Jamie/ Little finger and Sansa. They plant little seeds and u just watch them grow to fruition over time great writing best show ever!

Man quit with that cryin shit...I'm looking at the avatar and your name....you's a karate man, karate man cry on the inside!

I'm surprised Cercei didn't take a knife to slice the Nun's outfit open just to mind fuck her some more before having frankenmountain enter.

Notice Cercei the Nun's legs tied open lol

Cercei was feelin on her and shit tryin to get her hot for that zombie luv.

"Of course she wants it. She's on a ship sailing to take over the world now."

Just a thought. Like dude said, the Great Game is terrifying.

"I love her character. I saw her looking at Jon more with respect and admiration than infatuation, but anything is possible."

Yeah, but 10 year old admiration for a man of Jon's age can often turn into puppy love for a young'un.

Nothing will ever be as good as this ....

NOTHING!!!!

With this being a close second

ive grown to appreciate joffrey compared to his brother.
at least joffrey was something. he was a sadistic piece of shit but he was actually SOMETHING.
Tom wasn't anything. he was whatever whoever was around him made him and as soon as the people who were molding him were gone he committed suicide.
everybody in the world would die and joffrey would be like "fuck who's going to cook me dinner"
i like that.

The problem with Tom was that he is actually a good impressionable kid and wasn't fit to rule at that age. He didn't even know he was in the game, but everyone around him knew and they were playing him for their advantage.

When you put it that way, you might have a point. Joffrey's death was so satisfying because he made you hate him. And not just the character but the actor. If I come across that asshole, I'm swinging on site. Fuck him. Pisses me off even more that that little shit met Batman.
I couldn't really care less about Tommen's death. The only thing Tommen's death brought to the world was a good gif to use in a Fuck, Cuff, or Flee thread with a certified mud duck.

More than that is that he had no personality. He didn't actually want anything. I can forgive him being impressionable. I truly can. I don't blame him or dislike him for that. it's that we don't know shit about him as far as anything lol. No personality. What the hell was he into other than pleasing other people and listening to what they say?

Right that's good though a good character evokes emotion. So I hate Joffrey as much as anyone. I'd slap the shit out of him and do my community service.
But. Tom? We didn't see him really cause there were too many folks about in the story and then when its time for him to show us who he is, he has nothing for us lol.

Like Tom wasn't good or bad as a kid. He was just THERE. He's not like is this wrong or is this right. Lil dude never got in trouble for nothing cause he just existed he was like a shell.
The daughter that got merked at LEAST wanted to be a princess lol. She at least enjoyed her time in Dorne and wanted to date that prince. AT LEAST she was a human being kind of lol

Look at Tom's face

tommen-baratheon-9-4

that sums up his entire life.
Waiting for instructions on how to be a human

he is one of those kids who wants to please everyone. Margery pussy whipped his ass . i can see how that easily happened.

massaq he could meet you today and then you'd be like dude you need to change your eating habits and hit the weights and follow this regime and he'd say ok sir and then actually do the shit.
not knowing you from adam.

If there was one part of this episode that I didn't like, it would be that Dany got the final scene. I know that was the CGI money shot with a thousand ships and the dragons but Dany has closed out enough seasons.
And Cersie was on point this episode. Dany sailing west should have been the penultimate scene, followed by Cersie taking the throne to close out the season.

I think time wise Danys departure was last tho. When Jaime rode into the city, there was still smoke over the destruction Cersei had caused.

he was worried about her being hurt/killed during the battle not them possibly burning her...why is this even a debate? clearly he did not know...when he saw melisandre back @ the wall his worst suspicions had been "confirmed"...that is he thought they were killed in the battle...he had absolutely no reason to believe otherwise until he stumbled upon the deer while looking for a good place to shit I guess
