Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

 Man, this show is on that BULLSHIT!...Fuck Cersei!...That bitch needs to fucking die!...I swear, right now I'm heated like this character is a real person...I hate that bitch that much... If the writers don't have that bitch fried by dragons by mid-next season, I'm out...................Did I mention that Cersei needs to fucking die?

yeah, but that bitch was fly in them Lannnister colors...with the shoulder pads, lookin like malefecent.

I know that Varys being on the ship signifies an alliance between The Tyrells, Dorne and Dany but him being there is crazy with the continuity of the show, just like Arya teleporting at the Freys. This season has been weird with the instant travels.

on the map, Bravvos isn't that far, so her trip makes more sense.

I'm hoping it's Jon, but I'm thinking it will be Dany. It would awesome tho if Arya conquered all, but I don't see the desire to rule in her character.

I don't think Dany really wants it now. She's starting to realize that her father was MAD they had good reason to kill him and the rest of the fam.

The speech she gave when Jon, Sansa and Davos came to her castle... the look she gave Ramsay... the speech declaring Jon King of the North. She's a fucking goon. I'd run through a fucking brickwall if she was my Lord. I'd slapbox one of Dany's dragons. I'd You Got Served dance battle a fucking white walker if she asked me to. That's one inspiring muthafucker right there.

Momma was a goon too.

is jon her nephew or her half brother...didn't the mad king "kidnap" ned sister...the same mad king who is dany father?
Jon is Dany's nephew. I don't believe that The Mad King kidnapped Lyanna. I think Lyanna And Rhaegar were lovers (she wasn't rapped). Lyanna was betrothed to Robert Baratheon, but I don't think she liked him. So, I believe the whole kidnapping sh*t was just a ruse. Lyanna didn't tell Ned because of Ned's loyalty to Robert. I believe Ned and Robert grew up together.

Rhaegar was married to Elia from Dorne, but I think that marriage was political, he liked Lyanna. I think Lyanna told Ned the whole sh*t while she dying. That's why Ned never spoke of Jon's mother. He knew that Robert would try to kill Jon because Jon was Targaryan. So Ned just said that Jon was his bastard son, the mother was some wench (as Robert puts it) to throw people off.

This Explosive Game of Thrones Episode Explained How the White Walkers Could Take Westeros
The big twist even book readers didn't see coming

This post contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 6, Episode 5 “The Door.” If you’re not caught up now is the time to leave.

spoiler-got-nights-king.gif

For six seasons now the White Walkers have seemingly been wandering aimlessly around the North building up the ranks in their undead army but taking their sweet time getting to the Wall. If you map their progress, you’ll see the places they’ve hit—Hardhome, the Fist of First Men, Craster’s Keep, etc.—have not exactly shown any kind of specific progress. But with this latest explosive episode, we finally know what they were waiting for. They were waiting for Bran.

bran-mark.gif

When the young Stark child breaks the rules of his weirwood training and winds up tangling with the White Walkers in his vision, the Night’s King marks him. We learn that mark is powerful enough to break the protection spell on the Three-Eyed Raven’s cave. (This is news to book readers so, rejoice, we’re all learning something huge this week!) In the books, those wards are explained by a mysterious ranger named Coldhands. While that character may or may not ever appear in the HBO series, all show watchers need to know is that he, like the White Walkers and their army, is somehow undead. He is the one who escorts Meera and Bran to the Three-Eyed Raven in the first place and, when they are pursued by wights, he explains that undead things cannot go inside the cave:

“Inside the cave?” suggested Meera. “The cave is warded. They cannot pass.” The ranger used his sword to point. “You can see the entrance there. Halfway up, between the weir-woods, that cleft in the rock.“

“What about you?”

“The cave is warded.”

In Season 4 of the show it was Leaf, the child of the forest, who explained the rules.

bran-cave.gif

In the books, neither White Walkers, wights, nor Coldhands could go into that cave thanks to the magical protections put in place by the Children of the Forest. That is, until Bran messed up and opened to door (too soon? R.I.P., Hodor) to their invasion.

So what does that have to do with the future of the White Walkers? Well, though the show hasn’t necessarily done a great job of explaining this, the Wall is also chock full of magic. George R.R. Martinhasn’t gone into exact specifics, but he did say that “more than ice went into the raising of the Wall. Remember, these are fantasy novels.” Although the Wall is so old its creation has passed into legend, the general consensus is that thousands of years ago a Stark named Bran (nicknamed Bran the Builder) erected the Wall with the magical help of the Children of the Forest as the ultimate defense against the White Walkers. In the books, once again, it’s Coldhands who helps explain that magic. When they meet, Meera asks Sam why he didn’t bring the mysterious Ranger through the Wall along with Gilly and the baby.

“Why didn’t you bring him through this Black Gate too?”

“He...he can’t.”

“Why not?”

“The Wall. The Wall is more than just ice and stone, he said. There are spells woven into it...old ones, and strong. He cannot pass beyond the Wall.”

These two scenes of Meera entering the cave and meeting Sam exist in the show, they just do so without Coldhands to help explain the protective spells. But this episode gave us all the explanation we need. We know the same wards exist on the Wall that existed on the Three-Eyed Raven’s cave. That’s why the White Walkers haven’t attacked the Wall in six seasons: no matter how many legions of undead soldiers they amass, magic would prevent them from passing through the Wall.

For years readers speculated that the Wall would somehow come a-tumbling down and that’s how the White Walkers would get through. That could also happen—there’s still a magical horn in the mix that could bring it down. But what if the White Walkers manage to get through because of Bran? If the young Stark and Meera survive long enough to make it back down to Jon and Sansa, will they bring the doom of Westeros hot on their heels? Should we call this kid Bran the Destroyer (Bran the Breaker is taken) if he manages to undo everything Bran the Builder accomplished?

That’s not to say the White Walkers were waiting around because they knew Bran the Destroyer would come, mess up, and become the key they needed to get through the Wall. (Then again, the Three-Eyed Raven knew Bran was coming, so it’s not outside the fantasy realm of possibility that the Night’s King did too.) But those well-armored ice zombies have been kicking around North of the Wall because they had no other choice. Until now. And if Bran and Meera get through the Wall by the end of the Season 6—when we expect Jon, Sansa, and the bulk of the Night’s Watch defenses might be busy battling Ramsay down near Winterfell—things could look very grim for the realms of men.

So is that it for Westeros? Are there no other magical defenses? Well, not exactly. There’s always Dany and her dragons. But there are two more places that we’ve already seen in the show that could provide refuge from the White Walkers. You’ll remember that back in Season 2, Melisandre had Davos row her under the walls of Renly Baratheon’s castle, Storm’s End, so she could deliver that murderous shadow demon baby. “This Storm’s End is an old place,” she explains in the books. “There are spells woven into the stones. Dark walls that no shadow can pass – ancient, forgotten, yet still in place.” In the books the legend of Storm’s End, built by Durran, the first Storm King, has even closer ties to the Wall: “A seventh castle he raised, most massive of all. Some said the children of the forest helped him build it, shaping the stones with magic; others claimed that a small boy told him what he must do, a boy who would grow to be Bran the Builder.” Yep, Bran again.

Storm’s End would make a fine refuge against attacks; unlike most of the castles in Westeros, it has never been breached. From behind its magical walls, Stannis held off the massive Tyrell army for the better part of the year during Robert’s Rebellion.

got-storms-end.gif

But Bran the Builder was very busy and there’s one more significant place to benefit from his magic touch. I’m talking about good old Winterfell, of course. As Tyrion Lannister puts it in the books, “There had been a great strength in those stones, a sense that within those walls a man might feel safe.” The ancient Bran Stark built the family home thousands of years ago (possibly with a magical assist) and, though it’s not very clear in the show, the castle is full of secret passages. In the books, present-day Bran knows them all:

There was a covered bridge that went from the fourth floor of the bell tower across to the second floor of the rookery. Bran knew about that. And he knew you could get inside the inner wall by the south gate, climb three floors and run all the way around Winterfell through a narrow tunnel in the stone, and then come out on ground level at the north gate, with a hundred feet of wall looming over you. Even Maester Luwin didn’t know that, Bran was convinced.

A magical castle with secret passages galore? If Winter (the White Walkers) fell there or the Storm (the White Walkers) ended at the Baratheon castle, that would be a fine conclusion for this saga. Either way, Winterfell sounds like the very best stronghold the Starks could hope for when staving off an invasion and a very fitting location for a possible showdown between men (including Dany and her dragons) and White Walkers. The Starks just need to get their home back from the Boltons first.

And that shows that Ned Stark is truly more honorable than most. To come home with a kid and make your own wife believe that you fathered a bastard while married to her and raise the child with her in that same house in order to protect the child. Not to mention he answered no questions from anyone, not his wife Catlyn, not even his friend King Robert Baratheon. That is boss level honorable. He took it to his grave, too

I can't see Jon winning now...with it basically shaping up to be him vs a bunch of women. No way they have the lone male win the crown.

The obvious choice after Jon would be Dany...

Actually I think the whole kings landing is going to get destroyed.

Yea I had been realized that the last 2 seasons will be short since it will be mostly fighting. The time for talk is over. Next Season Daenarys vs. King's Landing. Final season White Walkers.

While,I agree she pushed him away...I will guaranteed you that Petyr will manipulate her into doing something she don't want. A fucking child can manipulate her stupid ass.... :smh:

Petyr need to write a book on how to play the long game, because folks like Cersei and Sansa don't know how to do it. :smh:

You forget, how Cercei treated Arya in season 1

The old Sansa yes but she sees LF for what he actually is and warned Jon that LF can not be trusted. She may still hace some learning but she has shown growth.

Cersei blowing up the septum has got me thinking too... what about Kevan? Lancel?

They burned as well. Remember that Kevan never took her seriously and always opposed her. He was her enemy.

The guy rolling with the dragon queen not only knows who threw bran out of the window, he supplied the incesteous woman with the knife to try and kill him.

Neither of what you said is true. You and Flawless half-ass watch the show and read comments and then post some bullshit.

How the fuck is Varys in 2 places at the same time!

THIS!!!!

Like a mutha fucka:confused:

Word, wtf

Dude just teleported

He left Mereen in episode 8 on a 'secret mission'.... when Tyrion said: "(Correction) Im the most famous Dwarf in the world"
EDIT: I just saw the last scene... I see what you mean. That nucca teleported.

Yeah I think he secured an alliance between Dorne, House Tyrell, and Dany.

I don't know how the fuck Varys got to those ships so fast but other than that, EXCELLENT ENDING!!!
:bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo:

It makes no sense. Maybe he got a ride from the dragons.

Yo I said the same thing. Like how the fuck he on that boat

I know that Varys being on the ship signifies an alliance between The Tyrells, Dorne and Dany but him being there is crazy with the continuity of the show, just like Arya teleporting at the Freys. This season has been weird with the instant travels.

Right. That mufucka teleporting and shit.

man i beginning to wonder if he's a twin or some shit

Y'all realize they showed him saying goodbye to Tyrion in the last episode...Turns out he was headed to Dorne.

The answer to Varys' teleportation.
