kinda like a new SOA
really? I heard that movie was a classic, I haven't seen it yet.
So far it feels a lot like SOA, but it aint working yet.
It is SO predictable...I caught a marathon by accident and looks great and the acting is OK but it just so by the numbers.
ya SOA and breaking bad were the last reg network cable series I watched for the same reasons...as for the movie I know I saw it cuz I saw my response in the movie thread when looking for a link but I have absolutely no recollection of watching it which means it couldn't have been that good imo
It has a LOT of potential but so far...it feels predictable.
I'm sticking with it for a while

and I don't HATE predictable as long as I am enjoying the ride.
I feel like they should have waited before introducing Pope that felt rushed.
I wanted them to pull of ONE perfect job for the audience from start to finish to show how nice they were.
And the gay son story line could have been pushed back too.
Let me see the new world through J's eyes for a little bit first.

I think if you liked SOA you will like this.

J thinks his father lives in Stockton which is near the fictional town of Charming
So far I don't like the predictability but the show could really build into something...
I can't wait to see Pope on his meds
Baz has 2 lives and maybe THREE lives if what smurf is saying is true (I personally don't believe her)

I hate that in the 3rd episode EVERYONE sneaks up behind another character
I LOVE that all the old Southland folks are in on this.
