To be honest. Their style didn't even really change that much. Seems like they needed to play harder and smarter. Which they did.

Well they went from being a bigger half court team to a smaller team that liked to push the ball, then they followed that up by expanding their three point shooting...
This gave them flexibility and versatility to adjust their style of play depending on how the defense played them.. Their biggest hurdle was trying to navigate so many moving parts and identifying when and how to make the adjustments...
Now compare that with the Warriors a team that had a set system and philosophy where each player knew their role, the Cavs on the other hand was literally learning on the fly and even when they got in the finals they still was tinkering with their system (notice Frye and Delly got very little run while Jefferson and even Mo got some quality minutes)..
Sure this style of thinking had the potential of blowing up in their faces but I knew that in order to hang with the Warriors they would have to make some bold moves and intend of shortening their bench, like many teams in the playoffs, I knew it would be wise for them to play as many players possible while choosing the correct personnel..
Agreed, Steph deserved the MVP but it shouldn’t have been unanimous.

Doesn't happen of Bogut's in. The fouls he drew in game 7 (and made 3 of 4 free throws)? Might not happen if Bogut is there. Psychologically that injury fucked up more than just their screen, pick, pop game.

The reason the Cavs were able to get back in the series is that Lue stopped playing less productive lineups.... the Bron-Kyrie-TT-JR-Jefferson line was giving the Warriors fits
