he has nothing to gain other than a paycheck unless they put him against a complete can.
Brock could've been GOAT status if he picked up MMA right after college insted of pro wrestling. But the dude doesnt like to get hit in the face and hasnt fought in years. If he loses it completely undercuts the work the WWE has done in building as a world beater in WWE

WWE probably put a clause in the contract that his opponent had to be a cake walk and that they get final approval. They had too!
They booked Brock as a unstoppable wrecking ball, but his UFC record is 4-3 and 2 of those losses were brutal. Imagine if he gets knocked the fuck out and then comes back less than month later to Summer Slam still playing up the unstoppable monster angle
I said something similar a few posts ago. She takes far too many risky bumps and has gotten hurt a few times since being called up. I don't see her having a long WWE career is she doesn't change up her style.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler is behind bars, accused of domestic assault.
Friday morning, Memphis Police Department put him and his fiancée in jail.
It's a case of he said, she said where both Lawler and his fiancée, Lauryn McBride, ended up as victim and suspect.
McBride, 27, has lived with Lawler, 66, for five years. She said they both got into an argument, and it turned violent.
She said Lawler held her against the kitchen counter, hit her in the head, pushed her against the stove, put a gun on the kitchen counter, and told her to "go ahead and kill yourself."
Lawler told police the argument started when McBride lied about where she'd been.
He said McBride scratched him in the face, threw a candle at him, and kicked him in the groin. He said she was drunk when she told him she knew where the gun was and threatened to kill herself.
Lawler said the reason he held McBride in the kitchen was because she was drunk and trying to leave the house in her car.
Memphis police officers were unable to determine the primary aggressor in the case, so they arrested both McBride and Lawler.
