all melo did was with a competent gm in denver make the playoffs every single year in the western conference. guide a team to the conference finals where he showed up as well.

and the big 3 of miami the next year by himself.

Wade and LeBron weren't as explosive from the context of clearing the other teams leads and blowing them out. Wade and LeBron don't take away from what we are seeing today from Klay and Thompson, and Klay and Thompson don't take way from what we used to see from a Prime Wade and LeBron...

Not saying you are saying this, but I keep hearing about how a revisiting of that combo, would possibly put a dent in the Warriors potential run, but people are forgetting that the Warriors as well have he opportunity to add pieces that will improve their team even more, and LeBron, whether people want to believe it or not, is on the down side of his Prime years and the subtle changes in his performance is starting to show, and Wade hasn't been near his prime for years...

Yep. The Spurs rebuilt that team to deal with the Heat but people really don't talk about it being more about Wade being hurt. I remember in that Chicago series he was battling with Spo about minutes. Dude was hobbled out there.. basically barely getting buy on managed minutes by the end of the season... once they hit the Spurs, he had nothing left. I really wonder if Lebron thought it was the new normal rather than Wade just dealing with multiple injuries that obviously he healed from.

Those two were perfect teammates for each other man. They just complimented each other well and made it easy to put role players around them on both sides of the ball.

Plus, they respected each other enough to really push each other on the court. Wade is the only player I've seen barking at Lebron on the court.

Melo gets no pass. He made the Knicks empty the cupboards to get him and his bird rights(more money when he resigns) rather than waiting to sign that offseason.

He didn't make the knicks do shit. He is an employee. If the knicks didn't want to do it they did not have to do it. He is not the gm. He is a player who took the money and I don't fault him for that. Take the fucking money. The Knicks gm's have no proven that if they had $100 million dollars to work with that they'd put together a great team around him. Money isn't handicapping their draft pick history and all this other shit. that's just a cop out to take pressure off the gm who ain't producing.
