That's the crazy thing. I could see them coming right back and losing again to the Warriors.

I'm siding with rivals to get this dude outta here. I'm sick of looking at him. Hopefully Detroit, pains me to say as a Pacer, but hopefully Detroit can put something better together. Boston, anyone.

That would be a good trade for Cleveland. Put JR on the bench were he needs to be

Yea, but Clevelands needs a guard who can move Kyrie over to the 2, shoot 40+ percent from three AND defend the other teams point guard. Brad can only do one of those three things.

I'm all for moving Love for a guard, though.

Yeah. His intentions were great...and winning ONE in Cleveland would be massive..

but man..like you said... he was playing his best basketball in Miami... dude was straight up in God-Mode..... They lost his last year there but that was mainly because Wade wasnt healthy and wade is OBVIOUSLY back.

Wade and Lebron were monsters together especially when Wade was healthy. And if they could have worked out the cap issues, it's easy to put a winning team around Wade and Lebron because they do so much on both sides of the floor.

Man.. Lebron during those last 3 years was watching him at his most comfortable...no thinking just doing...nigga was shooting the long ball damn near better than Ray Allen

Easily too.. Bron and Wade in the 4th quarter was a wrap.. No lead was safe around them niggas man :smh:

Both scored, rebounded and assisted and played defense at a high level

And if Riley added Melo forget about it

don't forget wade leaving miami to go there too
yea add cousins.
then who else... cp3 too i forgot about him
and buy melo out.

so
cp3
wade
lebron
melo
cousins

jr and thompson off the bench

Lmao and then they win and Lebron gets all the glory right?

Hopefully that's enough for the king

But seriously Sacramento minus whale trade Boogie and they probably won't get a bigger name/player than Love

He can go back to averaging 26 and 12 and missing the playoffs and be back in Cali

Boogie gets the fuck outta Sacramento and on a team that's guaranteed to at least make the finals

It's a win win.

Prime years.

Yep.. overlapping prime years. That Miami team was always just going to be great with Lebron and Wade on it and Riley would have kept putting the right pieces around them

I wish Lebron was a bit greedier and didn't have that desire to go back home. Again, winning ONE in Cleveland is major but I feel like we got cheated out of seeing him play his best ball.

He just wanted to get a test of winning and Miami solved that.. but instead of just going to the finals every year he would have been still winning some as well.

It's a win win.

It's a huge loss though for the cavs

several reasons.

boogie is not a good defender.
boogie has not demonstrated the will to really carry a team
boogie is not and will never be a stretch big man and lebron does not want a big man in the paint clogging up his driving lanes.
so yea maybe for the kings it'd be good but it'd be bad for the cavs.

The Miami team as constructed then was no longer good enough to win titles. And if he had stayed no Whiteside, Deng, Winslow, Johnson, or Richardson. I didnt agree with him leaving but it helped Miami to get a better supporting cast. Now if he went back...

@gene cisco

I've heard SAS allude to there being other reasons for Bron coming back home, that are not related to "bring a chip to Cleveland". That's party of it, but there was some family/personal stuff/pressure going on??

If they had cousins they would be up 3-1 right now.

His wife. He wanted control over the team and Miami wasn't willing to do that. Most they would do is draft Napier. He wanted his crew to be treated better, and given more respect inside the organization

I doubt he if would have won if stayed Miami, bosh would be hurt these 2 years or he's gone to Houston and an up and down wade. No way lebron muscles Pat Riley how to run the team either. We would still be having the convo saying he should have went back to Cleveland lol.

So instead of keeping his eye on the prize, he made made it personal.

He still doesn't win a title in Miami is what alot ppl still don't understand if he stayed.
And he has a better chance in Cleveland?

Maybe he does t win last year or this year, but eventually that squad is built back up to make a serious run. But as @jasonblacc pointed out, Bron didn't feel like letting the basketball minds/font office do their thing. He wants to call the shots.

Well, he got the juice now...he's made his vacant*Wire reference* and he must now lay in it.

Wouldn't have taken much to improve the team though when you're starting with Lebron and Wade. The last year was more about Wade not being 100% and then team aging. I think Riley would have been smart enough to make the adjustments.

When you have a prime Lebron and Wade...you just need defenders and shooters who can get up and down the court. In that last year against the Spurs, Wade was hurt all playoffs and the other players were showing their age...oldest team in the league..but they could have reworked the squad.

Going back now would be wild... different team makeup (not the caliber of shooters of the previous miami squad) but really talented...even better defensively.

I get the sense it's more than "just" a chip w/ lebron...so your idea of "the prize" and his idea might be different...I can def understand him going back under those circumstances and as others pointed out miami pretty much won't winning another chip which probably made his decision even easier

Yeah. The relationship had gone a bit sour. But Riley would have put the players around them that he thought gave them the best chance PLUS Lebron would be playing with a coach that had the full support of the GM.

Wade needed to much maintenance. He was missing games in the regular season putting to much pressure on Bron.

That was one season, boss. It was Lebron's final season there that Wade had the healthy issues over the second half of the season. Prior to that, he was playing his best ball and he's returned back to form. That was a temporary thing. Lebron must have thought it was permanent.

Yeah..not a good look. We've seen the model that works best for Lebron (when he was in Miami)

@BeatDownRecords I think people are really underestimating how much Havoc prime Wade and Lebron caused. People are doing cartwheels over Curry and Thompson because of their shooting but Wade and Lebron were doing people way dirtier when they were clicking on all cylinders.
