Dude it's a game within a game... These guys, especially LeBron have been playing a LONG time. Lue has been running these Dudes in the ground for a minute. That's why LeBron is struggling with lay ups and his jumpshot is so flat. Even last year, he didn't shoot a high percentage because he had to shoot so much and the defense collapsed on him more, but Blatt strategically sat him... before TV time outs, the last minute of a quarter, etc. Even if LeBron played 40 mins, it was a different 40 minutes because instead of resting a minute of game time, with how Blatt was timing that shit, LeBron was getting 5-6 minutes rest between quarters and TV timeouts, etc.

They're streaky shooters though. So you only have to worry about them when they have the shot hand.
In Miami, Lebron had players that consistently hit the open shots. Chalmers, Allen, Bosh, etc... really good pure shooters. If they get squared, they'll hit the shit at a high rate. Jr Smith is streaky. He's 7-10 one night and 2-10 the next night..been like that his entire career..

tonight you saw it. 1st half kept it within striking distance. in the 2nd half you saw a team that was dialed in.
how many loose balls did they dive for? how many times did they get dirty to try and get boards and strips and other stuff?
that's when they're playing ball. we saw exactly NONE of that in game 3. no nothing. that's what i mean by run the offense and play hard. if they play hard they got a chance.
jump for the board. make the extra right pass do the little things and you can string things together.
the pressure doesn't get to this team as much as it does others for a myriad of reasons so if you just dig in defensively and then take your time and run the offense you'll at least get a good shot.
