Not sure he means faster in the true sense, but faster in the sense of their offense doesn't have the multiple progressions GS's does. With the Cavs the first or second option has to be decisive in what they are going to do and do it... Once it gets past the second option, they become a stand still watch Kyrie or LeBron dribble and go ISO team, and THAT team gets blown out 9 out of 10 times.

I do believe they can have some success if they are aggressive but controlled aggression. If Kyrie is out there dribble for 10 seconds and then shooting, even if he hits a few they will still lose. Love and JR have to work harder to get open, maybe run off of a screen or two, and all this time forcing Love to be a spot up 3pt shooter is haunting them now. The few times he took his defender to the block he was successful, and LeBron has to realize that its not always whats best for YOUR game, but you have to be adaptable. You brought this man to Cleveland to help, sometimes you have to let him work.

Thanks why I laugh at all the LeBron makes everyone around him better, and one of the key reasons why Love has struggled at times, LeBron really doesn't have a compromise at times game... You have to adjust to HIS style of play, and that can have a negative impact on a player at times, i.e. Love...
True true; But I just dont see them all of a sudden changing; They played the way they have played against the east; it just worked in the east; It doesnt work against GS; Lue cant play Frye and Love at the same time for extended mins; No rebounds and no defense; Put Kyrie and Love and Frye on the floor together and well you know............I just think Cavs have a match up problem with GS; Again Curry and Klay would have hit just half of their open shots and we talking the game is a 30pt blow out, think about that...Listen Cavs can win some games for sure; but they are gonna have to play really really well and GS will have to play bad; I just dont see that happening to many times; GS played solid, not great, but solid in game 1 and they won easily; Imagine if they play really well and/or great...

Correct...as that slower pace ain't putting no pressure on the dubs...
The defense is aware of the offense intent, which have ten caution. If team one is pushing it and forcing them into cross match up, your shooters can possible get some looks, since y'all ain't call motion plays, for ball and player movement continuously.

Come on Ty Lue, u have a chance to do something special...handle that shit.
Don't be scared to run with the dubs.

Thing is fam, the league DOES NOT WANT a lopsided Finals. All year they've been playing up to the Cavs /Warriors rematch with a healthy Cavs team, and from a marketing and advertising perspective, it hurts them in the future if we keep having dominant series by one team. Look at the drama of the OKC/GS series?!?! That's what the league needs. Also, with all this the West is stronger than the East convo, they need to distance themselves from that too and the way to do that is with a competitive finals. Not saying the Cavs are going to win the Finals, but I also believe that's why the league announces the officials game to game instead of a schedule at the beginning of the series... They need to see how the previous game plays out before bringing in their 'ringer' for the next one...

The league also likes ad revenue during the Finals on a national network like ABC in prime time. Quick Finals leaves millions of dollars on the table.

No it doesnt fam; remember the NBA needs a dominant team; It drives ratings every time they have one because the public will turn on that team and watch just to see them lose; Kinda like the Floyd Mayweather syndrome; The game was a blowout and had its highest ABC ratings ever, think about that...People are gonna watch because of the love/hate with LBJ and the love of Curry.....

I'll give Lue create for his defensive approach he worked, made it difficult for Splash bros to get quality looks, forcing the role players to play good.
They hit some great shots, many contested, don't recall seeing many wide open looks. There was some but fuck this the best passing in the league. Combine motion offense with great overall team passing, open plays in the lane gonna be there.

Steph and Klay was 2-11 on uncontested shots; that means open shots they were 2-11 in game 1; maybe that open defense worked......

Yeah but if that dominant team keeps dominating, eventually the matchups will be a foregone conclusion and people will find other shit to do. The villian angle only works so much, but if that villian continues to dominate, the intrigue wanes. Just like boxing, look at Floyds last PPV with Berto, did his lowest numbers in over 10 years. After all of the 'potential' upsets, the fans viewed that fight as a foregone conclusion and the number showed their waning interest...

I also believe soon the league will try to help initiate another Eastern power, as LeBron's teams are 6 straight finals in with only 2 wins, that angle is going to play itself out real soon too, especially if they lose or are dominated this year...

Kinda was referring to the role players....but if thats the numbers, open defense might be the trick and play tighter on the role players

I feel you on that; I dont think the league has come close to exhausting GS though

He made it hard for Klay...

Curry chose not to be Curry for some reason... them Pick plays put Love on a island atleast 8 times and Curry chose to pass out of the set.

There's NO WAY Love hangs with Curry once he puts the ball on the floor.

No doubt and I fully expect GS to win the series, I just don't see a blowout 4-5 game series is all. Not trying to be funny, but this is the first CAC friendly team with the talent to dominate the league. You have a black coach, you replace him with the whitest white coach, you have the best players being 'beige' (just joking but you get my point), and they are 'non-threatening' to white America. Klay and Steph can be emulated by white kids all over, and they break the 'hood' single parent thug narrative that has been the league montra for a minute (again, not judging, but if you look at a lot of the best players, you will see my point). They will ride this shit until the wheels fall off, just can't have them thrashing everyone in the process. Thats why the GS comeback against OKC was actually their final chapter this season. Even if they beat the Cavs, the OKC series will be the one that will be talked about as the benchmark achievement for the Warriors this season... Sort of a Good overcoming Evil narrative. Draymond and his dirty ass is the only thing truly mucking up the works for the league!!

Man I don't have a problem with nothing the dubs did....

My thing is the cavs didn't put any pressure in them dudes...

Seem like they played not to get blown out vs playing to win...The offensive scheme of ISO should be outlawed, with a team full of shooter like the cavs
have.

Man....I had such hopes for Cleveland, but I just can't see it unless Lebron once again plays all world. But outside of him, thier best offensive players can't play defense and thier best defensive players can't score. Lebron is the only two way player they can count on.

Ref assignment for tonight

Scott Foster
Tony Brothers
James Caspers

Foster refing this game already tells me GS is losing this game... However Tony Brothers is the equalizer to Foster because he gives no daps to any Lebron lead teams.. Watch Foster bail out the cavs with question calls..

I see the league got Foster on an extremely short leash with the move of putting Brothers as the #2 ref

If this game is close Foster can't pull his fuckery against GS with Brothers being there because Brothers will quickly swing that momentum from the cavs back to GS Lmaooo

GS loses by 2pts in regular or win by +5.. If it goes to OT GS wins

Note Foster refing game 2.. That should tell you the league don't want Foster no there near pivotal games so next game you will see him is game 4 or 5 as the #2 ref...

Yeah... Imma miss damn near the whole game... After game 2 ALL the games start at 9pm. I do understand thought, you have a west coast team. Even starting at 9 EST the games are starting at 6 PST. Time differences are fucked, but they have the right to be able to watch the games too... Can't have games starting at 4pm out there, fools would need to take half days at work and shit to come to the games...
Man its fucking Sunday! No way the only game of the evening should start at fucking 8pm est.

Even a 5pm est start allows both coasts to relax, handle early day chores, grill out and watch the game. With enough time to prepare for the work week and catch the prime time tv programming they enjoy.

The Warriors have a Scott Foster problem

Everyone on r/nba is now convinced that the league is rigged in favor of the Warriors. From my perspective (and many Warriors fans), though, it feels like if anything the Warriors are disadvantaged by calls more often than not. But by and large I haven’t had problems with how the games are officiated, with one exception. Scott Foster. It always feels like we’re up against more than just the other team when he’s on the court. Now, he’s widely regarded as one of the worst refs in the league, so it’s possible that he gives terrible calls both ways and as a Warriors fan I just notice the ones that disadvantage us. To test this, I looked at all the games he’s officiated for us in the playoffs over the last few years. Here are the results:

Playoff games over the last two seasons: 34

Playoff games with Scott Foster: 8

Record without Scott Foster: 21-5

Record with Scott Foster: 4-4

Point differential without Scott Foster: +9.5

Point differential with Scott Foster: +2

Game logs with Scott Foster:

W 123-119 OT, game 3 NOP (Curry hits the clutch buzzer beater to go to OT, but doesn’t get the call for the foul on the shot.)

L 90-97, game 2 MEM

W 115-80, game 3 HOU

L 93-95 OT, game 2 CLE

W 105-97, game 6 CLE

L 96-97, game 3 HOU

W 132-125 OT, game 4 POR (Shaun Livingston gets kicked out of a game for the first time in his career with two incredibly quick technicals by Foster.)

L 105-133, game 3 OKC

In the last two playoffs, when the Warriors have been the best team in the league, 4 of their 9 losses have come in Scott Foster games. They have won 81% of the games he is not officiating, but only 50% of the games he does.

He was suppose to ref game 7 with OKC and GS.. The league pulled him off that game immediately they ain't want no fuckery from dude...

The league got him on a short leash and I wouldn't be surprised if the Feds watching Foster too.. He has strong ties to Tim Douahue

Man I'm bout to get on the road...y'all hold this bitch down...
