its just 1 game.

It's just one game..and the Cavs lost game 1 and then won the next two..but the worry is how that game went... if Thompson just catches fire and drops 40 and you lose..you just say.. we did all these things right but we couldnt' stop Klay... Cavs got roasted by ALL the role players.

They clearly need a real post up player. Lebron isn't going to the post.

Finals defense is typically a much different animal and you better have good ball movement and be able to get good looks in a half court set... especially if you don't have the horses to push the tempo and win the transition game.

the game today looked like when a team dominates the MAC conference and ends up playing a top SEC team in a bowl game and just get their asses ran off the field. That's the easiest win yall have had all playoffs.

The only thing that can really turn this around is a hot player (other than Lebron) and/or Lue pulling off a miracle adjustment...and even with that... what if both Curry and Klay get started.

i don't see many adjustments honestly. love and frye are the same player. you cannot play both of them at the same time because that immediately becomes 2 positions on the court that you can't defend and 2 people standing around the 3 point line on offense not doing shit.

so i don't know. and im not gonna sit here and figure out a way to help the cavs either lol

warriors keep playing hard. take your time and run the full offense. every time they run the full offense they get a good look.
that is all they need to do offensively.

draymond might get the mvp because they don't want to put lebron on him since he's not going to score but love and them can't stop him from doing what he wants to do which is set everyone else up

Cavs defense is suspect and will continue to be; they have no solid defenders outside of LBJ and their team defense is suspect; their best offensive players play terribly on defense; Curry and Klay hit nothing and GS won easily:eek2:; Let that sink in...

You see how lost Lebron still looks in the post?

He will have a smaller man on him and all he tries to do is run through him with his back to the basket no real moves

That shit wasn't working today he was getting the ball too far away from the basket to do that he better off driving on the smaller man than posting from that far out

If I'm the Cavs, I tell myself the Warriors bench shot their load in the first game, and we've proven we can can contain them lightskinned ni99as.

The fact that this game was lost in the first 4 of the 4th has to at least partially fall on Tyron Lue fucking up the rotations.
Really :hmm::smh:

Its like hes regressed. Honestly, i think its more to do with not trusting these niggas to be where they are supposed to be or make shots he creates for them.

yea im saying that more for us than anything else. don't get a big head or start to read press clippings or think its done.
work even harder you 3 wins away from a ring. its right there.

I don't know if its suspect. I'm not willing to go that far. I do think that Kyrie and Love are liabilities that we knew beforehand, accepted ones.
Warriors just need to keep moving the ball, running the motion and getting good looks. Those shots that Klay and Steph had today you'd want them to have in any other game. So im not worried about that.

So much for basketball IQ? I'll never forget I the playoffs series VS the magic Delonte west was the Cavs best post player and Lebron has him by a good 7 inches.

They didn't overplay Klay and Curry. They just played solid perimeter defense. The real problem was getting baked in the midrange by the role players..
They didnt play solid defense; Curry and Klay just missed shots; and that happens in games sometimes; when they play the same defense and Curry and Klay make those same shots, then what??

How can they get any of their players in foul trouble; Cavs are jumping shooting team period..
Make the jump shooters play defense in the post. Post them up. Or use a backdown dribble from the perimeter & shoot a step back, or fade away mid range shot. Or turn the corner & drive past them. Or hit em with a pump fake and lean into them. That's how.

Guards like Gary Payton, Chauncey Billups, Doc Rivers, Andre Miller, Steve Smith & Mark Jackson did it all the time.

You stay worried and I understand because you like it aint over until its over; But if you rewatch the game you will see that GS did whatever they wanted; Cavs didnt force them into anything that was difficult; And Curry and Klay had off games and they still won easy; Cavs will continue to play iso ball because thats what they do; GS will continue to play solid defense and switch; Cavs have jump shooters that cant create their own shots; I dont believe this series will be difficult for GS....

Steph and them just talked about how this game is important but doesn't mean anything. they've got to play even harder to protect home court in game 2 and come out with more intensity and drive.
That's what I want to hear. let's see if my team finally gets it. you have to keep it on, not turn it on and off when you see fit.

The bench was just hitting shots. Hands in their faces....swish. I'm just glad the Cavs put up a fucking fight. Shit, I had my shoulders slumped watching cats other than KT and Curry hit shot after shot.

Idk what it will be. I can accept what happens if they continue to run the offense and are dialed in on defense.
Hopefully they come out game 2 playing harder than they did in game 1 and everyone gives maximum effort on both ends.

When the Cavs win Game 3. Dont get missing or stop posting for a week like last series.

Damn bruh you beating that chest hard. Guess the Cavs wont win a game.
Not beating the chest at all; I dont have a dog in the fight; I dont care if the Cavs or GS wins; But I look at this game and I say what can the Cavs do better?? How are they gonna play better defense?? Can they play better team defense?? Who gonna step up for the Cavs?? Will Klay and Curry continue to miss shots?? these are questions plus others that make me say the things I say...

its not the hands in their faces its how easily they get to their spots that's the key.
the hand don't matter if they in a rhythm like i said its 24 hour fitness level shots out there for them they are pro's for a reason.

You know just because a player makes shots doesn't mean the defense was bad.. just as if they miss them, it's not necessarily mean it was good defense.

But the Cavs ran Curry off the fucking three point line and trapped him on pick and rolls.. he had 3 turnovers off the traps alone. They played good defense on those two.

With the exception of game 6, they played curry well last year too..nigga wasn't just missing shots, they played him well.

The problem is that if you have Smith or Shump on Curry...or you switch Lebron on him (and they did that often) you're stuck with Irving on a guy that's much bigger than him... that's a recipe for a disaster in the mid-range

So if you had GSW -6 or like me -8 , take yourself to the PAY Window. How do you let the Splash Brothers go for a combined 20 and still lose by double digits....:money::smh::smh::smh::smh:

Relax they coming to play; This was the game everyone was thinking that the Cavs could steal:hmm: and look what happened; They gonna be even more dialed in as the series goes..

@BAG where you at you called for a sweep!

Draymond played HARD tonight and that pushed the dubs to this win. He played Bron well and was extremely disruptive on the defensive side taking charges, steals, contesting shots.

I want him to drive to the hole and be more selective woth his 3's outside of that thay man pliyed a perfect game
