yes really...them dudes was partial strength and was able to win 2 and keep the loses closer than this BS. Lue should have Had those role players constantly rotating every time GS collapsed the paint on Cleveland when Bron or Love got the ball. watch the game again. GS did a great job of minimizing those dudes by simply clogging the lane whenever Bron and Love got the ball in the paint area

Man listen, Blatt was forced into that lineup. He didnt coach his way into that line up. SMH

and how the hell is Iggy and Green wide the fuck open for 3 all night. Why the fuck Lue double and triple teaming Klay and Steph. Play them dudes head up and quit falling for the okey doke by leaving the other shooters open. We all know they can hit a wide open jumper

idk man. i say idk because they didn't go crazy from 3 point land. if you give an nba player wide open shots in the lane they'll make way more than they'll miss.

All of them weren't just easy set shots... but yeah.. those looks are not a good look for the Cavs.. too many good mid-range shots... but role players always have their best games at home...

essentially this series comes down to game 2.. if the cavs don't win that one, it's over.. but I think it's over already... Cavs looked overmatched and Lue looks overmatched...

Sad that you can call a 87 year old black man a "nigga".. I swear imma beat the dog shit outta you next trip out that way.
Bruh enjoy your twighlight years, you don't want to do that to yourself. I'm not some random guy you just want to fight. Enjoy your life son. Get a massage , smoke a cigar, get a prostitute. Save yourself son.

And im not ready to go there yet. Not at all. Warriors gotta play even harder in game 2. step up the intensity and play way harder and then see what happens.
see if they can take care of business and take it. we'll see what this team is made of.
that's what i like to see. i can accept winning or losing but its how you respond and how hard you play. if they played hard every game and lost in the first round id be ok with it.

LeBron is 2-5 in championship series, where does that rank in players to make it that many times and lose?

He's 2-4. Very few NBA franchises let alone players have 3 titles to their name. If he wins another ring before he retires it wont matter how many Finals he loses.

Imma say this.... Cleveland might be in trouble. You hold the other teams 2 best players to 20 combined points, your own big 3 have good games, and you STILL get your ass beat like this!?!?!

yeah..shit aint looking good for them... 11 from Curry... 9 from Klay and you still get ran off the floor? smh

if youre a cavs fan...know this from a knicks fan

when jr has a horrible game, it gets in his head and he's done for weeks

so that nigga is mentally gone for this series

yall better stop playing his ass
^^ TRUTH.

Smith's problem is that he always wants to 'do some spectacular SportsCenter shit'............................... instead of win.
(Like a crazy dunk. Or shoot the lights out from deep.)

And when it does not happen... mentally, he's done.

When the reality is....... all this nucca needs to do... is focus on making 3-5 basic buckets every game.
Make just 1 single shot per quarter. Every game. (Plus a few free throws)

Walk off the court every night with roughly 10-15 points, or so... and he will see a ring.
Both him and Shumpert need to make this their 'goal' if they play more at least 20 minutes every game.

Don't take too many shots..... But don't stop shooting period, either.

They don't need to try to shoot the Warriors out the gym. :smh:
They just need to play good D on their assignment... PLUS..... give Lebron & Kyrie some help on the offensive end.

Nothing flashy. :smh: Just basic buckets.
(Tim Duncan-style. No emotion.)

And they could win a ring.

They will lose Game 2, but have a good chance to win Game 3 and 4 in Cleveland. I'm just not buying the NBA will allow this to be a short series.

LeBron passed Bird for 10th on the all time postseason rebounds list tonight. He's now the only NBA player to be top 10 in points (4th), assists (3rd), rebounds (1oth), steals (6th) and 3 pointers made (6th).
Stats like this don't mean shit with all those Finals losses.

Well, if the NBA wanted to give us a long series, they'll come out and call the game tight. The Cavs were driving hard but just weren't getting whistles.. that's about the only way they can help the Cavs is if they call it really tight and just slow the game up....

i mean.. maybe it can go 6 but the cavs go down 0-2, it's pretty much over...

Sometimes that's hard to do with Kyrie taking every shot and not passing.

they do though lets stop playing lebron. he has 2 rings. they are to be respected. he gets the teams to the finals. so he's not underachieving because he's not undefeated in the finals.
in the beginning of the year if he's on your team you know you got a chance to compete for a championship.
right now that list is his name long. and that's it.

He does have 2 Finals wins, and you need games to put up those stats so it does mean you're consistently taking your teams deep.

I'm a pistons fan, but I asked someone earlier.. what's better.. Zeke going to 3 finals and winning 2 or Lebron going to 7 finals and winning two... they both have 2 NBA titles..one player just consistently got his team there. If you pick Zeke, you're saying that losing before the finals is more valuable than losing in the Finals.. and Lebron only has one bad finals so you can't pin the losses on him.

See this the simple shit I be looking for...run some plays for them just to get them going, fuck I don't care if it's a alley to JR or something....dude is a huge part of your success, little ball movement and slow tempo that focus on ISO ball takes anyway from your role players, no ball movement and player movement

Sometimes that's hard to do with Kyrie taking every shot and not passing.
Or Maybe Kyrie is not passing to him... because he's not taking good shots.

He went 1 for 3 tonight.... and all 3 attempts were 3-pointers. :smh:
This is exactly what I'm talking about.

JR wants to attempt to 'outshoot' the best 3-point shooters in the league. :smh:

- Post-the fuck up.
- Take a layup.
- Take a mid-range jumper.
- Shoot a fade away from the baseline.
- Or a step-back jumper.
- How about shooting from the elbow?
- Dribble hard into the middle... step to the side.. and let it fly just 1 step outside the paint.

- Fuck it... Shoot a running 'sky hook'.:yes:

Do something..... ANYTHING else... except try to shoot (yet another) cotdamn 3-pointer. :hmm: lol.
That's what Smith does not understand. :smh:

Because when his shot is off... mentally, it's a wrap for him.
He gotta do MORE... than just launch 3's... or try to dunk.

Nuccas had 1 whole year to expand their 'shot selection' on offense.

my eyes:
-Lue is not a very good NBA coach at this point. Defense was terrible and his second half plays were garbage. Either the team did not listen to him or he really has nothing for Golden State
-Lebron needs more movement with his drives to the basket, that steam roll one side step shit does not work anymore. and why does he insist on keeping the ball so low, to get picked time after time. It's as if only Golden State watched film.
-Kyrie got tired, reverted back to his iso shit. what was he 8-25 or some shit. TRADE HIM for a real point of a draft pick.
-Love--Balled hard on the offensive end, gave them NOTHING on the D. Nice rebounds though. How can you be that damn tall and have no blocks
-why the hell did Tristan get 80 million again?? His defense was garbage. Nice offensive rebounds and he scored a few.
-why in the hell did they sign mo williams if they wont play him. Delladova sucks...
-JR smith had to be hurt...Cavs go no production from the shooting guard spot..

nothing from Curry and Thompson, other than great defense....and you still lose by 15.

This series is a SWEEP.

What's fucked up is that if they lose again, it's clear that they'll need to blow this team up again because it's just set up to lose to the West's best team.

It's on him, he has to be better, dominate using his just talents and those traits to his advantage such as Size and power

what are they going to do though? that's what i don't know. are they going to beat okc to the punch and get mike conley and move kyrie to the 2?

Cavs just need to split at GS. Doesn't matter which one of the first 2 games it is.

Steph and them just talked about how this game is important but doesn't mean anything. they've got to play even harder to protect home court in game 2 and come out with more intensity and drive.
That's what I want to hear. let's see if my team finally gets it. you have to keep it on, not turn it on and off when you see fit.

Heat could be a good option.....Whiteside,Lebron, and Justice on defense is killer....... Go small with Richardson Wade Justice Lebron and Whiteside

Heat isn't an option at this point. He means too much to CLE's economy. If Wade were to slide to CLE, he'd have a chance. Wade is an ultimate strategist. It's just his health is faulty. And he's a lifetime Heat.

We'll see though. Lotta basketball left.

Lmaooo GS playing with 8-9 play makers on their roster while the Cavs only has 2... It's no suprise the cavs got ran the fuck off the court..

GS spooked lue into not playing Frye for the rest of the game.. Forced Love and Kyrie into playing like dickheads..

JR is mental done lol

And what happen the 3s started dropping from Klay and Steph lol

As stated it was easy to look all world against Detroit, ATL and the Raps... Cavs playing a different level

Lebron really can't do much more because their struggles aren't things he can really fix. He can't make Smith make shots.... he can't defend every position on the court....if Lebron scored 10 more points, it really doesn't change anything.. and he already have 12 rebounds and 9 assists.. if Lebron has to score 40 points while also having a triple double in order for his team to win in the finals, shit is over.

what are they going to do though? that's what i don't know. are they going to beat okc to the punch and get mike conley and move kyrie to the 2?

They clearly need a real post up player. Lebron isn't going to the post.

Finals defense is typically a much different animal and you better have good ball movement and be able to get good looks in a half court set... especially if you don't have the horses to push the tempo and win the transition game.

the game today looked like when a team dominates the MAC conference and ends up playing a top SEC team in a bowl game and just get their asses ran off the field. That's the easiest win yall have had all playoffs.

The only thing that can really turn this around is a hot player (other than Lebron) and/or Lue pulling off a miracle adjustment...and even with that... what if both Curry and Klay get started.
