shump isnt in the game for offense; jr is
also looks at steph and klays numbers
shummp did his job until lue went lue
Smith is a starter. He guards either Thompson, or Curry. (Whoever Irving is not guarding)
Shump comes off the bench. He guards either Livingston or Barbosa. (Whoever Delladova is not guarding)
They BOTH got lit up by their 'assignments'.
And their 'assignments' played fewer minutes than they did.
Curry & Thompson combined for 20.
Barbosa & Livingston combined for 31.
Shump & Smith combined for 6 points.

Delladova scored 2 points. In 11 minutes.
51 points for Warriors backcourt. (total)
34 points for the Cavs backcourt. (total)
But Irving scored 26 points out of 34.
My point is.... both Smith & Shump gotta be more
'productive' for the
AMOUNT of minutes they are playing.
Unlike Dellavadova.. they BOTH
'have the ability' to drop between 10-15 points per game.

(at least

)
Just make
4 or 5 shots. Apiece. Every game. And they can win it all.

That's just like
2 layups + 2 jumpers.
Or just post someone up & score
3x times... and hit a few free throws.

i.e. Hit 1 post-up shot every quarter. Or 1 layup. Or 1 jumper.

Every. Single. Quarter.
That should be their 'goal'.
Nothing spectacular.

Just basic buckets.
But they are not doing that.
