Good question. I believe it has to do with an inability to let go of their youth and teenage years.

As a Certified Nurse Aide, early in my career, one of my home health patients was a 13 year old half black/mexican girl who was having sex with her boyfriend and the boyfriend's uncle. the uncle died in lockup..? i bet it was probably at the hands of other inmates upon learning he was a child molester..

Never got the full details of his death. but he was part of the Mexican Mafia. I see more of this in my city and surrounding area than other parts of the country.
