Hell they could have put Payne in. He's a more consistent shooter and can make plays. Marrow is their best spot up shooter. Robertson wasn't going to keep hitting those shots. Robertson is under 30% 3pt shooter for his career. Sam Presti failed this team. Now you've most likely lost KD and Westbrook following next season.

who is payne that clown that dances with westbrook..no sir not in game 7. I will have gave morrow PT before that dude sees the court...OKC lacks depth but they have depth with their bigs...they just need a solid 2 guard.

If they don't win the 'ship 2 seasons in a row?.... 74 games means nothing without a ring, plus GS has to pay Klay and Green also... Do they go into the luxury tax to keep this same squad if they don't win the ring?

You talking about Curry? Curry is easily getting a max deal unless he's stupid enough to take less... he won't have to though.

First Delly we be a non factor; if he plays extended minutes, he will get his ass busted by Klay or Curry; 2nd Della didnt stop Steph at all; Steph had 1 bad game out of 6; if it was Della he would have had alot more bad games than just one...
Curry #s:
game 1, 26pts, 8ass, 10-20 shooting
game 2, 19pts, 5ass, 5-23 shooting
game 3, 27pts, 6ass, 10-20 shooting
game 4, 22pts, 7ass, 8-17 shooting
game 5, 37pts, 4ass, 13-23 shooting
game 6, 25pts, 8ass, 8-19 shooting
so curry had one bad shooting night and della held him down??:hmm:; every other game was a typical steph game and dude shot 50% are better the other 5 games; you guys with this della shit needs to stop...

Those numbers ain't shit against a backup PG and a team down 2 stars. That's why Lebron and Iggy were the only MVP considerations. How soon we forget about that shit. So Curry was expending energy stopping Delly?

Cavs should have been fucking swept last year. But they weren't.

Let's see how it goes this year. By the way. You a real GS fan with Bill, Truth, and Mr.Jr?

So you're saying the Cavs need to keep Klay out of the game... (play physical against him / get him in foul trouble) would be a major key for success?

No. They need to play Curry physically. Put Shump on Curry and make him put it on the floor and drive the lane and foul his little ass when he's in the lane.

Thompson loves to catch and shoot. So you have to make him put the ball on the floor. So it's more about spacing. Don't lose him off the ball. Don't "cheat" to help on someone else.

Yo this shit has me rolling.:roflmao2::roflmao2::roflmao2:

Tristian Thompson just sign a deal is worth $82 million, agent Rich Paul told ESPN.com on Wednesday. The deal does not include player or team options, and all money is guaranteed. At $16.4 million annually, it will make Thompson the sixth-highest-paid power forward in the NBA and equal the contract signed by Golden State Warriorsforward Draymond Green over the summer.....

Think about what was posted above long and hard; and then tell me again why are you asking if Steph the unanimous MVP of the league wouldnt get a max deal...

Shumpert is a defensively specialist.

And you can have shump, smith and irving out there together when the Warriors go small ball.

Smith isn't easily guardable IF he's feeling it. He'll bake you... the problem is that he's too streaky.

But the Cavs have Lebron.. he'll dictate pace. He has high BB IQ. He's not gonna have his team running up and down the floor against a team that loves to volume shoot.

Only a dumb ass coach would push his team try to "outshoot" GS.
:hmm:

How the cavs should have been swept? Bron is good for 2 games by himself..

That's what superstars do they can win you 2 games in the playoffs

Dwade old ass did it against Toronto

So you're saying the Cavs need to keep Klay out of the game... (play physical against him / get him in foul trouble) would be a major key for success?

Klay is prone to foul trouble but you can't really depend on that. You just have to play him close and push him off the perimeter.

Kery literally said at halftime of this game (if we shoot a 3 on every possession, we'll win).

They want to shoot 3s because they know (at the rate the shoot), they'll almost impossible to beat if they shoot 40 three pointers in a game. If you take away the 3 point shooting (which is hard to do), they're just slightly above average everywhere else.

Lue about to have to earn his money with his rotations and adjustments. Kerr adjusted last year after going down 2-1.
Lue is going to have to be smart with his substitution and instead of shortening the bench he needs to use is components wisely..
What they have going for them is they are deep in the guard position and can throw different types of defenders on Curry and Thompson while G.S. is going to have to make a decision on how they plan on playing Green (will they have him on Love, Thompson or James) if they do decide to put him on Love then that means Barns and A.I. will be forced to play extended minutes one on one vs James..
A key to the Cavs will be their execution, can they hit the shots given to them and the J.R. factor.. At the end of the day you can expect Irving/James to cancel out the Splash brothers in points, so it may come down to Love vs Green, JR Smith and players like Frye..
There are going to be match up advantages for Cleveland the question is will they make the right decisions in finding them this can be very difficult with the speed of the game that the Warriors play at..
The Warriors love to pack the paint and have the speed to close out on those outside shots, the Cavs will have to be patient and be smart using their speed against them... We know the Warriors are going to bring it every single night, the question will be can the Cavs play disciplined ball, hit the open shot that presents itself while wisely using their bench so they don't burn out..

:hmm:...a player shooting 50% from the field and those numbers aint shit:giggle:; ok bro; you guys are real hyped about the cavs series; Gene what if the Cavs are less competitive then what they were last year, what you gonna say then; And Della gonna play this year?? so whose not playing if Della is getting minutes??

Klay has been GS's best player this playoffs too. If they gave out the MVP for the entire playoffs, it's Klay over Curry, easily. And he's always the one stepping up FIRST... Curry has been coming to support Klay...but it's been Klay who has been catching fire first and keeping GS in games.

Shump better not pull a hamstring fucking around with KT...

Damn

For some reason, I have a feeling KD won't get the full Lebron treatment. I could be wrong but I don't see an overwhelming backlash coming like many are saying should happen.

Naw. I don't think so. He is not Lebron. I think people are already expecting a departure. It would. E a shock of if he stayed. I actually think he should stay.

Because a lot can change in a season.... Especially of the team fails to win the ring 2 years in a row....

It's not a dumb question considering who else they have to pay (Green and Klay primarily) and what other teams out there would be willing to pay or give up for him....
In short is this team the same in 2 seasons if they fail to get the ring 2 times?....

Payne was getting playing time earlier in the year before he suffered a injury. OKC going to need a solid 3. KD needs to bounce. There's no point in staying in OKC. KD ain't going to GS, can't see him being in SA system offense unless Pop changes things. He's damn sure ain't getting passed GS with Dantoni coaching Houston. KD needs to go out east.

Shump better not pull a hamstring fucking around with KT...

that's the biggest concern with your squad man.. a bunch of injury prone mofos..

but push GS off the line and yall have a real chance (if love and irving show up).. warriors scored more than half their points off 3s man... make those cats earn points in the paint

That shit is easy if you Delly is your only worry. That's your assignment on defense? Delly?

I'm a fan. I'll eat my crow. I admit when I am wrong without a problem. If they Cavs are less competitive, I'll be just like Bills was with GS. I'll call them cats on it.

Bro hes getting max money and thats that; no need to keep going around about it; GS has already stated that hes getting maxed money; TT a player who barely plays, cant do nothing but rebound is getting 16mill a year :hmm:; dude no gm that handles these contracts, says this player or that player didnt get rings so we not gonna pay him; KD has no rings; do you think he wont get offered max money??? Plenty of players dont get rings and they still get max money; ask joe johnson...

Irving is important. He can fuck around and be the MVP of the series. Love? I'm just hoping he is competent. And TT better earn his fucking money. He is such a fucking liability on offense.

I like basketball, not a fan of GS; I like watching them play; I like watching KD and westbrook; I like watching LBJ and others as well; Basketball is about matchups, and GS has the clear advantage over the cavs; and when delly in the game, that means either smith or shump or irving is not; all cant get extended minutes; and there best players, outside of LBJ, defense is very limited; I couldnt imagine Cavs playing a lineup of say Irving, Smith, LBJ, Love, and Frye..that team would be awful defensively; GS would have their way; throw delly or smith and shump in there and doesnt present issues with GS; Im not a fan of what the Cavs did in the east because to me those teams were average at best; Ill give the Cavs major credit if they win; just like I was prepared to do with OKC; but I dont see it at all; GS in 6...

It's gonna be a lot of 4th quarters with love on the bench :smh:

Every time they get hit I cringe. This is make it or break it for the Cavs and Lebron's legacy. Love is either going to be a hero or run the fuck out of town. It's on him.

Marrow def should have got some burn.. If you talking Foye as the other, no dice.. He stinks..

Give me Foye over Waiters at this point

Look man you got two guys getting those minutes

Neither can shoot

One thinks he is a star so he does anyway and the other air balls threes or passes open wide open looks cuz he knows he can't shoot

I can't have niggas in the game like that playing SHOOTING GUARD

I have a feeling this series will be epic. If the Cavs win the chip, this one will be very sweet. Beating a 73-win team will be nice.
