Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

And it seems weird to me but Daenarys found Drogon outta nowhere.

Nah she has a deep connection to Drogon. Last season, she sensed his presence before seeing him when he came back the Mereen castle to check in on his mom. Later in the season, he protected her with fury when sensing his mom was in danger from the Sons of the Harpy. Drogon has clearly grown past giving his mom teenage tantrums lol

The other two dragons may be a lil pissed they were locked up for their big brother's wildin out teenage behavior but they'll get over it and fall in line as well like their big brother, Drogon.

I mean Cersi royally fucked up on this one.

Yep, she created the Faith Militant, that has out maneuvered her, Jamie, and now the Tyrells

A royal fuck up is literally the correct term for Cercei

Was disappointed in the episode I know it was a setup shit everything is a setup still no excuses for the lack of action

Whatever cercei's planning is gonna blow up in her face.
I believe if that happens, and something happens to Tommen, she gonna be like fuck it and go out in blaze and glory by blowing up kings landing like the mad king wanted to. Bran kept seeing the wildfire in his visions.

Arya's change of heart felt rushed as hell. After ALL of the shit she's been through, all of the chances she's gotten, she's like, fuck it, I'm out?

Then again, she IS a Stark.:hmm:

I guess in the end, the show runners and author didn't want any of the Starks to exhibit any truly immoral character traits. Everyone else is some shade of grey on this show, but not the Starks (understandable, but regrettable) Everyone's she killed so far has either been in self defense or out of revenge. Also, they've got to re-integrate her back into the main storyline at some point.

However, as Jagen Hagar has said, a life has been paid for so a life must be taken. I don't think he's too particular about whose life it is. So if Arya manages to take out the Waif, I think that will settle her debt with the faceless men. She never really got to learn their real secrets, so it's not like she has to die.

But really what did Arya get out of all this? She got some staff training. Maybe she can take an extra punch or two. I guess she's learned some skills that might be useful in the westeros version of counter-intelligence.

And she can fight in the darkness.

It may not seem like it right now.... But Arya learned some TRUE ‘ninja shit’.

- She learned how to lie convincingly.
- She learned how to ‘become someone else’ (identity theft).
- She learned how to fight, travel & live..... in complete darkness.
- She learned how to use the ‘element of surprise’ in a fight. (against Meryn Trant)
- She learned how to observe & 'scout' her enemies weaknesses beforehand, without getting caught.
- She learned how to make a solid gameplan, instead of trying to ‘overpower’ her enemies. (against Meryn Trant)
- She learned how to recognize different poisons... just by smell (when she was blind).
- She learned how the Many-faced God accepts ALL donations. Large or small. Doesn’t matter. lol

- She learned how to use a secondary weapon.
- Now she can use a staff / or spear….. plus a sword.

- And before the end of the season, she will probably learn how to escape a highly dangerous & completely ‘unwinnable’ situation…. and LIVE to fight another day.

She’s still a teenager.... She didn't know ANY of this shit before. :smh:
All she knew was a little bit of Waterdancing... and how to 'run away' and hold a grudge. :D

Just imagine how DEADLY she will become in her early twenties… or by the time she is the same age as Brienne of Tarth.

Jaqen H'ghar was out here teaching her the '48 Laws of Power & the Art of War'.... and sheaintevenknowit.

Yea i get that but it had to be done. Couldn't just have him have the sword somehow lol. had to show him get cussed out for it and now we probably won't see sam again till 2 episodes later more than likely.

His dad was savage. said i thought you met a whore, i made my peace with it, you saved a ho, it's all good. but you brought home a wildling.. he said that shit almost like she was mexican or something.
went from referring to her as "her" and right to "it"

Oh. I'm not just talking about for this episode. I mean character in general gets as much attention as all the character who have a claim to the Iron Throne..it just seems like his character gets too much camera time.. just wondering if he's going to eventually be more important to the story

i thought i was a pretty good episode.

all except for the sam story line. where is it going?

i thought little finger may have been lying, but blackfish

did take some riverlands back.

Ok. So it's not just me...I'm wondering why Sam's story is so important too.

She coming back to Westeros like Batman came back to Gotham after Raz al Ghul

I think Sam taking that Sword is critical.

First, I think he will research & learn HOW to forge Valyrian Steel whenever he reaches the Citadel. So he will become one of the few people in Westeros who knows how it's done.

Remember, Tywin Lannister said back in season 2 or 3 that there were only like 3 people ALIVE who knew how to forge Valyrian Steel when he melted down Ned Stark's sword.

Secondly, since we are seeing characters that have been 'missing in action' for quite awhile... I wouldn't be surprised if Sam runs into GENDRY who has probably found work as a Blacksmith in Old Town, or at the Citadel during all this time.

(Melisandre told him 'you have a part to play in the wars to come'... In hindsight, she probably wasn't just talking about the leeches )

So Together, they will most likely create some ultimate, next-level armor & weapons for Jon and his army to battle the White Walkers.

Just my prediction.

No one can Actually Forge valerian steel.

Tywin said a few craftsman could re-work an already existing valerian sword. That's what he had done to Ice, melted down and re-cast into 2 swords.

The method of making valerian metal died in the doom of varyia

I believe the Mad King burned Brans grandfather and Uncle with wildfire

Mutha fucka burned Brandon in his armor!

B wanted a trial by combat and the mad king said ok my champion is wildfire let's see how you fare against that!

:eek2:

I felt bad for Meera for a sec there. Imagine dragging that grown ass man body through the north and escaping the wights. And being so tired. And then like saying i'm sorry to him. Chick you had NOTHING to be sorry for. You struggled. You did as best as humanly possible.

You have been lied to,manipulated,

used and abused by men your entire

existence haven't you! You are so

damaged!

True. But we talking about Sam here.

They way he chews through pages & books and absorbs knowledge.... He will find a way to make it happen.

Knowing his ass... He will probably re-work Valyrian Steel and mix it with Dragonglass to forge some kinda 'new substance' that could be 'mass produced'.

If there is a WAY... He will find it. Somehow.

Just saying.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but I don't have time to go through 4 pages but last nights episode added much needed fuel to my belief that
Lady Stoneheart
is making an appearance this season. Probably someone's wedding....

I was just thinking the same thing

Good point. But there aren't weddings on anyone's calendar right now, tho.
Nobody been talking about 'joining houses', or getting married recently. :dunno:

If anything, I think that will probably happen next year, in season 7.

Been thinking about this situation with Jaime, Blackfish & Brienne...

Brienne is the lynchpin to settling the conflict.

The best resolution I see... is Brienne convincing Jaime to 'team up' with Blackfish.... and take out Walder Frey.

But why would they do that??

Because in the aftermath...
- Blackfish gets his revenge on the Freys' for killing off his family.
- They BOTH get rid of Walder Frey.... who could double-cross either side (and join Team Ramsay ) at the drop of a hat.
- And Jaime gets to seize control of that Castle in Riverrun (without a fight).... PLUS... he also gets Frey's territory. (The Twins)
- So Jaime gets 2 territories for the price of 1... and comes out highly victorious.. with barely a scratch on him.
- While Blackfish and his troops head North, to help Jon Snow... since they cannot do both (hold the Castle & head North) at the same time.
- Because Blackfish knows that he could always come back later (after Winterfell is secured, the Stark Bannermen are back in full force & Jaime has gone back to Kings Landing) and retake that Castle with a much LARGER army that includes Jon Snow's forces, in the future.
- Remember how Blackfish chastised his nephew Lord Edmure for seizing a Mill when they could have lured the Mountain deeper into their country to surround & kill him?

- Blackfish doesn't seem like the type to make the same mistake & waste all his men 'holding a single Castle'... if he can see the 'bigger picture' and a 'path to success'. :smh:

It's kind of a win-win situation (in the short-term). :dunno:

Time will tell.

It won't be Jaime...

It'll be someone you won't expect, someone that you know, and it will be a pleasant surprise

Agreed, but I'm thinking that it's going to be someone close to Cersi. Such that Cersi will win the trial by combat but also lose someone important to her. Sparrow is on that other shit.

Nah he isn't given up his family castle to a Lannister. Nope.
However if Brienne flips Jamie, that is more likely.
