Consistent long ball shooting will the the Thunders biggest concern... but again, if Russ plays the right way, they will be a major headache my man.

And the spurs issue wasnt dynamic guard play as much as it was no shows in closing games by LA. Spurs destroyed them game one, refs screwed them in 2 others.

They finally started calling draymond green for those fouls..... He does an excellent job tricking the refs in to believing he goes straight up to contest shots...if your body is moving towards the offensive player there is no way you went straight up. He's been getting away with it for far too long

Just imagine if Steph took the pounding that Westbrook did in the first half.
I was surprised no one mentioned it during the broadcast.
Westbrook got beat up. Hurt his hand or wrist two minutes into the first quartet.
I figured Okc would win because the were shooting like shit yet only down 13 at the half.
Usually GS would be up by 25-30

Yeah, Westbrook got the business. He keeps coming though.
 
Been doing some thinking and I actually see OKC winning this series. If they dont give in to the urge to go small and force GS to adjust I see them winning. Their length will give GS problems, and the fact they were able to constantly meet and eventually overcome GS runs is very telling. Westbrook and KD arent going to shoot that badly often, and unless the Warriors can get some more from their bench this series.my barely go 6 games... May need to adjust my thinking but those are my take aways from game 1...

They kept Steph in the pick and roll a lot in the second half, trying to force the switch from Klay to Steph. Steph like to just shoot threes, clown, flex, have a good old time. OKC let him know this gonna be a grind it out, hard hat type of series.

That said, he missed a lot of shots he usually makes. I'd keep attacking him on the offensive end. Like you said, make him play D, and see how those 29 foot jumpers feel in the 4th after you've been chasing Russ around for 3 hours
 
It's only been one game,so each team still have adjustments to make.okc bigs gonna continue to give golden state problems and Curry guarding Russ isn't good.if OKC keep playing physical they'll win this in six,the warriors ain't built for that.... unless Kerr uses his bigs and risk getting ran out the gym with OKC's speed. But making Curry and klay work is the key

He just wasn't aggressive he wasn't dialed in. He don't like to just do anything you yourself was complaining about his layups at the rim
He got knocked down too got up.
He just didn't play well in the 2nd half.
Has nothing to do with anything but that. Chasing ppl around didn't do anything he dropped 40 after chasing Lillard and mculloh around.

There is no key. He himself just played extra smedium .
And draymond took way too many dumb ass shots

Playing hard is the key. They didn't play as hard as okc did. Watching rebounds instead of jumping
Not contesting shots.
Lazy passes.
Stupid passes.
They didn't play smart or hard and okc did they didn't match okc intensity and thats why they lost. .

They have to play hard and smart the entire game and they'll be alright

What needs to happen is the Warriors players need to step up and say something instead of using anonymous quotes

And the Thunder as well

They need to use this and play like they're capable of playing.

When they were dialed in they got up double digits on okc. When they were dialed in defensively turnovers on multiple possessions.

When they took the entire 2nd half of being lazy and try to turn it on they lost.
Been the same thing I been complaining about all year and last year in the playoffs
They still don't play hard every game all game like they should

And the warriors aren't black and play for the thunder
The thunder players should say something about their teammate
