That's true but now you trying to play GS game and ya gonna lose doing that..

GS bench is far as away better than the cavs bench.. Guys with the exception of Mcadoo and Clarke who were starters at one point
I wouldn't try to stop them the way other teams do, instead I would try to limit their three point shots (at least from Curry and Thompson) while trying to take more three point shots on the other side...
If you cannot match three point shots with the Warriors it becomes a mathematical problem where shooting 50% from the three always beat 57% from the two...
So in practice they need to trap Curry as much as possible, even if it leads to easy baskets (damn this goes against everything I believe) how ever every-time they score you have to either score back or shoot a three...
This is the approach the Portland took but didn't have the guns to actually exploit...

Man Lue use that lineup often.
Fyre replace TT
I got a suggestion that sounds even more crazier, If I were the Cavs I would try playing Jordan McRae more, especially with LeBron against Toronto, just to see what they have with him..
With him I think they may have a wild card, and vs a team like the Warriors, you need as many offensive minded players as possible to rotate against them especially at 6.5....

Look at it this way. In less than a month Steph will have as many rings as Bron. He's proven to have more heart and Cleveland is cursed.

I don't sense any sarcasm here?

If they get through this series relatively easy and OKC pushes the Warriors, I think a fresh Cavs team has a chance. Lebron hasn't had to work had so far this playoffs. If he can come out and be a facilitator and get 20-25 from Love and Irving and the role players show up, I wouldnt write them off against the Warriors.. especially if the Warriors have a couple of bad shooting games.

The last 3 words I put in bold are key though...

NBA is gonna make alot of money off 73-9 paraphenalia. More than they would a Raptors or Cavs championship. Cavs have no shot.

You do know the 09 Cavs blazed through the first and second round in sweeps only to lose to Orlando in the ECF right? Them 9 days off killed their momentum

The last team to start 8-0 and even make the Finals was the 01 Lakers. 4 teams since then lost in the conference finals.

That team was forced to double up in the paint vs Howard, leaving the three point shooters wide open... Whats ironic is this is the same plan, on steroids the Cavs are using now..

Bruh rest can be a hinderance rather than a position.. Don't be surprised the raps steal game 1 and game 2... Cavs gonna come out flat on them shots

lebron on his own took them to 6 games
If love and kyrie show up
its not going to be as easy as people are saying/hoping

i got faith lebron will get his ring

Bron took them 6 games because all the dudes on GS never been to the finals so the inexperience played a big factor..

Can't say that shit now especially the reigning champs hungry

If the raptors make the finals I swear I'm going to kick shit over. That's no diss to them, but they ain't ready for the ship yet. At least not against the warriors.

It would be the first time in history that a LeBron James team lost to a smaller team that cannot rebound, has no shot blockers in the paint, I would be absolutely surprised if the Raptors were to win one game let alone 2...

They beat the Cavs due to them not being able to match up with the Warriors bench cuaising their legs to run dead.. To prove it, the games that the Cavs lost was the same exact script, the Cavs were winning until the 3rd period when LeBron went to the bench, then the Warriors would make a big run, forcing LeBron to come off the bench earlier than expected, and because of it his 4th quarters were flat...
This is why its important for the CAvs to realize that with the Warriors its more a marathon not a sprint and why its important playing them healthy, with a bench and being well rested...

Say the Cavs play the same way they have during the playoff and the raptors play the same way....

The bet was for a Cavs/Heat series and nothing else.. I son niggas like Gene.. He gets no payment, he the type of nigga dudes ass bet in a game of dice.. Take his chips and tell him gtfoh

And what time u picking niggas up in the patty wagon to go to the game?

Damn.... :smh:

Here are a few esoteric tidbits to reinforce the insanity of Curry’s perimeter shooting. This season, he set records for:

The most games with at least 3 threes: 67 (previous: 55)
The most games with at least 4 threes: 54 (previous: 40)
The most games with at least 5 threes: 43 (previous: 27)
The most games with at least 6 threes: 31 (previous: 15)
The most games with at least 7 threes: 24 (previous: 10)
The most games with at least 8 threes: 16 (previous: 6)
The most games with at least 9 threes: 7 (previous: 3)
The most games with at least 10 threes: 4 (previous: 2)
The most games with at least 11 threes: 2 (previous: 1)

Note that in most cases he’s more than doubling the previous record. Along the way, Curry hit a career-high 12 threes in a game against the Thunder, tying the NBA record.

Interestingly, Curry’s PER is easily the best ever posted by a point guard. Here’s the top five:

2016 Curry: 31.5 PER
2009 Chris Paul: 30 PER
2015 Russell Westbrook: 29.1 PER
2008 Paul: 28.3 PER
2015 Curry: 28 PER

Here’s how Curry and Green stack up against some of the best plus-minus performers of the past 20 years.

2016 Draymond Green: +1,070
2016 Stephen Curry: +1,022
2015 Curry: +920
2009 LeBron James: +870
2015 Green: +839
2016 Klay Thompson: +836
1997 Michael Jordan: +818
1997 Scottie Pippen: 807
2008 Paul Pierce: +785
2003 Dirk Nowitzki: +778
1997 Jeff Hornacek: +775
1997 Karl Malone: +768
2007 Tim Duncan: +748
2008 Kevin Garnett: +736
2015 Chris Paul: +734
2013 Kevin Durant: +721
2013 LeBron James: +720
2000 Shaquille O’Neal: +706

Naw naw naw RoadRage that's not a crazy idea bro. He's skill set would allow him to that advantage of those dribble drive situations(Attacking within the flow of the offense is possible against each of the remaining four teams).
When he didn't dress for the first series I was like, "Man that who they should have as a secret but non so secret spark plug".

Been reading a lot about Lebron. They really tryna build hype off the comments that he made....when theres really not much hype to begin with.

Anyways.... We get a Conf. Champ game everyday for the next 10 days (except for Friday).

Hell no. I caught chops saying in the Curry thread when they were down 3-2 she wasn't going to honor the bet. That's what I'm talking about. I know the bet was off if the Heat didn't make it. I have numerous posts where I was cheering for the Heat so I could win the bet.
